1 O sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!	1 - Di David. Quando la sua terra fu ristabilita. Il Signore regna, esulti la terra, si rallegrin le molte isole!
2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.	2 Nubi e caligine gli stan d'intorno, la giustizia e il diritto son la base del suo trono.
3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!	3 Il fuoco dinanzi a lui precede e abbrucia all'intorno i suoi nemici;
4 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.	4 illuminan le sue folgori il mondo, vede e si scuote la terra;
5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but the LORD made the heavens.	5 i monti come cera si struggono al cospetto del Signore, al cospetto del Signor [di] tutta la terra.
6 Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.	6 Annunziano i cieli la sua giustiziae miran tutti i popoli la sua gloria.
7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!	7 Sian confusi gli adoratori d'[idoli] scolpitie quei che si glorian ne' loro simulacri: tutti gli dèi si prostrano dinanzi a lui!
8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!	8 Ode Sion [questo] e si rallegra, ed esultan le figlie di Giudaa cagione de' tuoi giudizi, o Signore.
9 Worship the LORD in holy array; tremble before him, all the earth!	9 Perchè tu sei, o Signore, l'Altissimo su tutta la terra, oltremodo esaltato sovra tutti gli dèi.
10 Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns! Yea, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity."	10 O voi che amate il Signore, odiate il male! Custodisce il Signore le vite de' suoi fedeli, dalla mano dell'empio li libera.
11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it;	11 Luce è spuntata per il giusto, e per i retti di cuore letizia.
12 let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy	12 Rallegratevi, o giusti, nel Signore e celebrate la sua santa memoria.
13 before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.
