Psalms 14

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, who will dwell in your tabernacle? Or who will rest on your holy mountain?	1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici LO stolto ha detto nel suo cuore: Non vi è Dio. Si son corrotti, son divenuti abbominevoli nelle loro opere; Non vi è alcuno che faccia bene.
2 He who walks without blemish and who works justice.	2 Il Signore ha riguardato dal cielo in su i figliuoli degli uomini, Per veder se vi fosse alcuno che avesse intelletto, Che cercasse Iddio.
3 He who speaks the truth in his heart, who has not acted deceitfully with his tongue, and has not done evil to his neighbor, and has not taken up a reproach against his neighbors.	3 Tutti son guasti, tutti quanti son divenuti puzzolenti; Non vi è alcuno che faccia bene, Non pur uno
4 In his sight, the malicious one has been reduced to nothing, but he glorifies those who fear the Lord. He who swears to his neighbor and does not deceive.	4 Tutti questi operatori d’iniquità son essi senza intelletto? Essi mangiano il mio popolo, come se mangiassero del pane, E non invocano il Signore.
5 He who has not given his money in usury, nor accepted bribes against the innocent. He who does these things will be undisturbed for eternity.	5 Là saranno spaventati di grande spavento; Perciocchè Iddio è colla gente giusta.
	6 Fate voi onta al consiglio del povero afflitto, Perciocchè il Signore è la sua confidanza?
	7 Oh! venga pur da Sion la salute d’Israele! Quando il Signore ritrarrà di cattività il suo popolo, Giacobbe festeggerà, Israele si rallegrerà
