Psalms 105

1 Alleluia. Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is with every generation.	1 Δοξολογειτε τον Κυριον? επικαλεισθε το ονομα αυτου? καμετε γνωστα εν τοις λαοις τα εργα αυτου.
2 Who will declare the powers of the Lord? Who make a hearing for all his praises?	2 Ψαλλετε εις αυτον? ψαλμωδειτε εις αυτον? λαλειτε περι παντων των θαυμασιων αυτου.
3 Blessed are those who keep judgment and who do justice at all times.	3 Καυχασθε εις το αγιον αυτου ονομα? ας ευφραινεται η καρδια των εκζητουντων τον Κυριον.
4 Remember us, O Lord, with good will for your people. Visit us with your salvation,	4 Ζητειτε τον Κυριον και την δυναμιν αυτου? εκζητειτε το προσωπον αυτου διαπαντος.
5 so that we may see the goodness of your elect, so that we may rejoice in the joy of your nation, so that you may be praised along with your inheritance.	5 Μνημονευετε των θαυμασιων αυτου τα οποια εκαμε? των τεραστιων αυτου και των κρισεων του στοματος αυτου?
6 We have sinned, as have our fathers. We have acted unjustly; we have wrought iniquity.	6 Σπερμα Αβρααμ του δουλου αυτου, υιοι Ιακωβ, οι εκλεκτοι αυτου.
7 Our fathers did not understand your miracles in Egypt. They did not remember the multitude of your mercies. And they provoked you, while going up to the sea, even the Red Sea.	7 Αυτος ειναι Κυριος ο Θεος ημων? εν παση τη γη ειναι αι κρισεις αυτου.
8 And he saved them for the sake of his name, so that he might make known his power.	8 Μνημονευετε παντοτε της διαθηκης αυτου, του λογου, τον οποιον προσεταξεν εις χιλιας γενεας,
9 And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up. And he led them into the abyss, as if into a desert.	9 της διαθηκης, την οποιαν εκαμε προς τον Αβρααμ, και του ορκου αυτου προς τον Ισαακ?
10 And he saved them from the hand of those who hated them. And he redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.	10 και εβεβαιωσεν αυτον προς τον Ιακωβ δια νομου, προς τον Ισραηλ δια διαθηκην αιωνιον,
11 And the water covered those who troubled them. Not one of them remained.	11 λεγων, Εις σε θελω δωσει την γην Χανααν, μεριδα της κληρονομιας σας.
12 And they believed his words, and they sang his praises.	12 Ενω ησαν αυτοι ολιγοστοι τον αριθμον, ολιγοι, και παροικοι εν αυτη,
13 As soon as they had finished, they forgot his works, and they would not endure his counsel.	13 και διηρχοντο απο εθνους εις εθνος, απο βασιλειου εις αλλον λαον,
14 And they coveted their desire in the desert, and they tempted God in a waterless place.	14 δεν αφηκεν ανθρωπον να αδικηση αυτους? μαλιστα υπερ αυτων ηλεγξε βασιλεις,
15 And he granted to them their request, and he sent abundance into their souls.	15 λεγων, μη εγγισητε τους κεχρισμενους μου και μη κακοποιησητε τους προφητας μου.
16 And they provoked Moses in the camp, and Aaron, the holy one of the Lord.	16 Και εκαλεσε πειναν επι την γην? συνετριψε παν στηριγμα αρτου.
17 The earth opened and swallowed Dathan, and it covered the congregation of Abiram.	17 Απεστειλεν εμπροσθεν αυτων ανθρωπον, Ιωσηφ τον πωληθεντα ως δουλον?
18 And a fire broke out in their congregation. A flame burned up the sinners.	18 του οποιου τους ποδας εσφιγξαν εν δεσμοις? εβαλον αυτον εις τα σιδηρα?
19 And they fashioned a calf at Horeb, and they adored a graven image.	19 εωσου ελθη ο λογος αυτου? ο λογος του Κυριου εδοκιμασεν αυτον.
20 And they exchanged their glory for the likeness of a calf that eats hay.	20 Απεστειλεν ο βασιλευς και ελυσεν αυτον? ο αρχων των λαων, και ηλευθερωσεν αυτον.
21 They forgot God, who saved them, who did great things in Egypt:	21 Κατεστησεν αυτον κυριον του οικου αυτου, και αρχοντα επι παντων των κτηματων αυτου?
22 miracles in the land of Ham, terrible things at the Red Sea.	22 δια να παιδευη τους αρχοντας αυτου κατα την αρεσκειαν αυτου, και να διδαξη σοφιαν τους πρεσβυτερους αυτου.
23 And he said that he would destroy them, yet Moses, his elect, stood firm before him in the breach, in order to avert his wrath, lest he destroy them.	23 Τοτε ηλθεν ο Ισραηλ εις την Αιγυπτον, και ο Ιακωβ παρωκησεν εν γη Χαμ.
24 And they held the desirable land to be nothing. They did not trust in his word.	24 Και ο Κυριος ηυξησε σφοδρα τον λαον αυτου, και εκραταιωσεν αυτον υπερ τους εχθρους αυτου.
25 And they murmured in their tabernacles. They did not heed the voice of the Lord.	25 Εστραφη η καρδια αυτων εις το να μισωσι τον λαον αυτου, εις το να δολιευωνται εναντιον των δουλων αυτου.
26 And he lifted up his hand over them, in order to prostrate them in the desert,	26 Εξαπεστειλε Μωυσην τον δουλον αυτου, και Ααρων, τον οποιον εξελεξεν.
27 and in order to cast their offspring among the nations, and to scatter them among the regions.	27 Εξετελεσαν εν μεσω αυτων τους λογους των σημειων αυτου και τα θαυμασια αυτου εν γη Χαμ.
28 And they were initiated into Baal of Peor, and they ate the sacrifices of the dead.	28 Εξαπεστειλε σκοτος, και εσκοτασε? και δεν ηπειθησαν εις τους λογους αυτου.
29 And they provoked him with their inventions, and ruination was multiplied in them.	29 Μετεβαλε τα υδατα αυτων εις αιμα και εθανατωσε τους ιχθυας αυτων.
30 Then Phinehas stood up and placated him: and so the violent disturbance ceased.	30 Η γη αυτων ανεβρυσε βατραχους, εως των ταμειων των βασιλεων αυτων.
31 And it was reputed to him unto justice, from generation to generation, even forever.	31 Ειπε, και ηλθε κυνομυια, και σκνιπες εις παντα τα ορια αυτων.
32 And they provoked him at the Waters of Contradiction, and Moses was afflicted because of them,	32 Εδωκεν εις αυτους χαλαζαν αντι βροχης, και πυρ φλογερον εις την γην αυτων?
33 for they exasperated his spirit. And so he divided them with his lips.	33 και επαταξε τας αμπελους αυτων και τας συκεας αυτων, και συνετριψε τα δενδρα των οριων αυτων.
34 They did not destroy the nations, about which the Lord had spoken to them.	34 Ειπε, και ηλθεν ακρις, και βρουχος αναριθμητος?
35 And they were mixed among the Gentiles. And they learned their works,	35 και κατεφαγε παντα τον χορτον εν τη γη αυτων, και κατεφαγε τον καρπον της γης αυτων.
36 and they served their graven images, and it became a scandal to them.	36 Και επαταξε παν πρωτοτοκον εν τη γη αυτων, την απαρχην πασης δυναμεως αυτων.
37 And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.	37 Και εξηγαγεν αυτους μετα αργυριου και χρυσιου, και δεν υπηρχεν ασθενης εν ταις φυλαις αυτων.
38 And they shed innocent blood: the blood of their sons and of their daughters, which they sacrificed to the graven images of Canaan. And the land was infected with bloodshed,	38 Ευφρανθη η Αιγυπτος εις την εξοδον αυτων? διοτι ο φοβος αυτων ειχεν επιπεσει επ' αυτους.
39 and was contaminated with their works. And they fornicated according to their own inventions.	39 Εξηπλωσε νεφελην δια να σκεπαζη αυτους, και πυρ δια να φεγγη την νυκτα.
40 And the Lord became furiously angry with his people, and he abhorred his inheritance.	40 Εζητησαν, και εφερεν ορτυκια? και αρτον ουρανου εχορτασεν αυτους.
41 And he delivered them into the hands of the nations. And those who hated them became rulers over them.	41 Διηνοιξε την πετραν, και ανεβλυσαν υδατα, και διερρευσαν ποταμοι εν τοποις ανυδροις.
42 And their enemies afflicted them, and they were humbled under their hands.	42 Διοτι ενεθυμηθη τον λογον τον αγιον αυτου, τον προς Αβρααμ τον δουλον αυτου.
43 Many times, he delivered them. Yet they provoked him with their counsel, and they were brought low by their iniquities.	43 Και εξηγαγε τον λαον αυτου εν αγαλλιασει, τους εκλεκτους αυτου εν χαρα?
44 And he saw that they were in tribulation, and he heard their prayer.	44 και εδωκεν εις αυτους τας γαιας των εθνων, και εκληρονομησαν τους κοπους των λαων?
45 And he was mindful of his covenant, and he repented according to the multitude of his mercies.	45 δια να φυλαττωσι τα διαταγματα αυτου, και να εκτελωσι τους νομους αυτου. Αλληλουια.
46 And he provided for them with mercies, in the sight of all those who had seized them.
47 Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us from the nations, so that we may confess your holy name and glory in your praise.
48 Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, from ages past, even to all ages. And let all the people say: Amen. Amen.
