1 Now these are the generations of Esau, who is Edom.	1 Estos son los descendientes de Esaú, o sea Edón.
2 Esau took wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite,	2 Esaú tomó a sus mujeres de entre las cananeas: Ada, hija de Elón, el hitita; Olibama, hija de Aná, hijo del heveo Sibeón,
3 and Basemath, the daughter of Ishmael, sister of Nebaioth.	3 y Basemat, hija de Ismael y hermana de Nebayot.
4 Then Adah bore Eliphaz. Basemath conceived Reuel.	4 Ada dio a Esaú Elifaz; Basemat a Reuel
5 Oholibamah conceived Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah. These are the sons of Esau, who were born to him in the land of Canaan.	5 y Olibama a Yeus, Yalán y Córaj. Tales son los hijos de Esaú, nacidos en la tierra de Canaán.
6 Then Esau took his wives, and sons, and daughters, and every soul of his house, and his substance, and cattle, and whatever he was able to obtain in the land of Canaan, and he went into another region, withdrawing from his brother Jacob.	6 Esaú tomó a sus mujeres, a sus hijos, a sus hijas, y a todas las personas de su casa, sus rebaños, todos sus animales y todos los bienes que había adquirido en la tierra de Canaán y se fue a la tierra de Seír, lejos de su hermano Jacob,
7 For they were very wealthy and were not able to live together. 8 And Esau lived at mount Seir: he is Edom.	8 Esaú se estableció en la montaña de Seír (Esaú es Edón).
9 So these are the generations of Esau, the father of Edom, at mount Seir,	9 Estos son los descendientes de Esaú, padre de los edomitas, en la montaña de Seír.
10 and these are the names of his sons: Eliphaz the son of Adah, the wife of Esau, likewise Reuel, the son of Basemath, his wife.	10 Los nombres de los hijos de Esaú son estos: Elifaz, hijo de Ada, mujer de Esaú, y Reuel, hijo de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
11 And Eliphaz had sons: Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenez.	11 Los hijos de Elifaz fueron: Temán, Omar, Sefo, Gatán y Quenaz.
12 Now Timna was the concubine of Eliphaz, the son of Esau. And she bore him Amalek. These are the sons of Adah, the wife of Esau.	12 Elifaz, hijo de Esaú, tenía también una concubina, Timna, que le dio a Amalec. Tales son los descendientes de Ada, mujer de Esaú.
13 And the sons of Reuel were Nahath and Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These are the sons of Basemath, the wife of Esau.	13 Los hijos de Reuel son estos: Najat, Zeraj, Sama y Miza. Tales fueron los hijos de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
14 Likewise, these were the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, the wife of Esau, whom she bore to him: Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.	14 Estos fueron los hijos de Olibama, mujer de Esaú, hija de Aná, hijo de Sibeón, que le dio a Esaú: Yeus, Yalán y Córaj.

17 Likewise, these are the sons of Reuel, the son of Esau: leader Nahath, leader Zerah, leader Shammah, leader Mizzah. And these were the leaders of Reuel, in the land of Edom. These are the sons of Basemath, the wife of Esau.	17 Los hijos de Reuel, hijo de Esaú, son estos: los jefes Najat, Zeraj, Sama y Miza. Estos son los jefes de Reuel, en la tierra de Edón; estos son los descendientes de Basemat, mujer de Esaú.
18 Now these are the sons of Oholibamah, the wife of Esau: leader Jeush, leader Jalam, leader Korah. These were the leaders of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah and the wife of Esau.	18 Los hijos de Olibama, mujer de Esaú, son estos: los jefes de Yeus, Yalán y Córaj; estos son los jefes de la mujer de Esaú, Olibama, hija de Aná.
19 These are the sons of Esau, and these were their leaders: this is Edom.	19 Tales son los descendientes de Esaú, o sea Edón, y estos son sus jefes.
20 These are the sons of Seir, the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah,	20 Los hijos de Seír, el jorita, habitantes del país, fueron estos: Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Aná,
21 and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan. These were the leaders of the Horites, the sons of Seir, in the land of Edom.	21 Disón, Eser y Disán; estos son los jefes de los joritas, hijos de Seír, en la tierra de Edón.
22 Now Lotan produced sons: Hori and Heman. But the sister of Lotan was Timna.	22 Los hijos de Lotán fueron Jorí y Emán; y la hermana de Lotán era Timna.
23 And these are the sons of Shobal: Alvan, and Manahath, and Ebal, and Shepho, and Onam.	23 Los hijos de Sobal fueron Alván, Manajat, Ebal, Sefo y Onán.
24 And these are the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, when he was pasturing the donkeys of his father Zibeon.	24 Los hijos de Sibeón fueron Ayá y Aná; este Aná es el que encontró agua en el desierto, cuando apacentaba los asnos de su padre Sibeón.
25 And he had a son Dishon, and a daughter Oholibamah.	25 Los hijos de Aná fueron Disón y Olibama, hija de Aná.
26 And these are the sons of Dishon: Hemdan, and Esheban, and Ithran, and Cheran.	26 Los hijos de Disón fueron Jemdán, Esbán, Yitrán y Querán.
27 Likewise, these are the sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan.	27 Los hijos de Eser fueron Bilán, Zaaván y Acán.
28 Then Dishan had sons: Uz and Aran.	28 Los hijos de Disán fueron Uz y Arán.
29 These were the leaders of the Horites: leader Lotan, leader Shobal, leader Zibeon, leader Anah,	29 Los jefes de los joritas fueron estos: los jefes Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Aná,
30 leader Dishon, leader Ezer, leader Disan. These were leaders of the Horites who ruled in the land of Seir.	30 Disón, Eser y Disán. Tales son los jefes de los joritas, por clanes, en la tierra de Seír.
31 Now before the sons of Israel had a king, the kings who ruled in the land of Edom were these:	31 Los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edón, antes de que los hijos de Israel tuvieran rey, fueron estos.
32 Bela the son of Beor, and the name of his city was Dinhabah.	32 En Edón reinó Bela, hijo de Beor; su ciudad se llamaba Dinaba.
33 Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah from Bozrah, reigned in his place.	33 Cuando murió Bela, le sucedió en el trono Yobab, hijo de Zeraj, de Bosra.
34 And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.	34 A la muerte de Yobab, le sucedió en el trono Jusán, de la tierra de los temanitas.
35 Likewise, this one having died, Hadad the son of Bedad reigned in his place. He struck down Midian in the region of Moab. And the name of his city was Avith.	35 Cuando murió Jusán, le sucedió en el trono Adad, hijo de Bedad, que derrotó a los madianitas en el campo de Moab; su ciudad se llamaba Avit.
36 And when Adad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his place.	36 A la muerte de Adad, le sucedió en el trono Samla de Masreca.
37 Likewise, this one being dead, Shaul of the river Rehoboth, reigned in his place.	37 Cuando murió Samla, le sucedió en el trono Saúl, de Rejobot del Río.
38 And when he also had passed away, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, succeeded to the kingdom.	38 A la muerte de Saúl, le sucedió en el trono Baaljanán, hijo de Acbor.
39 Likewise, this one being dead, Hadar reigned in his place; and the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.	39 Y a la muerte de Baaljanán, hijo de Acbor, le sucedió en el trono Adar; su ciudad se llamaba Pau y su mujer Metabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mezaab.
40 Therefore, these were the names of the leaders of Esau, by their families, and places, and in their vocabulary: leader Timna, leader Alvah, leader Jetheth,	40 Estos son los nombres de los jefes de Esaú, por grupos, localidades y nombres: Timna, Alva, Yetet,
41 leader Oholibamah, leader Elah, leader Pinon,	41 Olibama, Ela, Pinón,
42 leader Kanez, leader Teman, leader Mibzar,	42 Quenaz, Temán, Mibsar,
43 leader Magdiel, leader Iram. These were the leaders of Edom living in the land of their rule: this is Esau, the father of Idumea.	43 Magdiel e Irán. Estos son los jefes de Edón, según los territorios propios en que habitan. Esaú es el padre de los edomitas.
