Revelation 22

NEW JERUSALEM	STUTTGARTENSIA-DELITZSCH
1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowingcrystal-clear.	1 וַיַּרְאֵנִי נַחַל שֶׁל־מַיִם חַיִּים זַךְ מַבְהִיק כְּעֵין הַקָּרַח יֹצֵא מִכִּסֵּא הָאֱלֹהִים וְהַשֶּׂה
2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelvecrops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations.	2 וּבְתוֹךְ רְחוֹב הָעִיר וְאֶל־שְׂפַת הַנַּחַל מִזֶּה וּמִזֶּה עֵץ חַיִּים עֹשֶׂה פְּרִי שְׁנֵים עָשָׂר כִּי מִדֵּי חֹדֶשׁ בְּחָדְשׁוֹ יִתֵּן אֶת־פִּרְיוֹ וַעֲלֵה הָעֵץ לִתְרוּפַת הַגּוֹיִם
3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb wil be in the city; hisservants will worship him,	3 וְכָל־חֵרֶם לֹא יִהְיֶה־עוֹד וְכִסֵּא הָאֱלֹהִים וְהַשֶּׂה יִהְיֶה־בָּהּ וַעֲבָדָיו יְשָׁרְתֻהוּ
4 they wil see him face to face, and his name wil be written on their foreheads.	4 וְהֵמָּה יִרְאוּ אֶת־פָּנָיו וּשְׁמוֹ עַל־מִצְחוֹתָם
5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will beshining on them. They wil reign for ever and ever.	5 וְלַיְלָה לֹא יִהְיֶה־עוֹד וְלֹא יִצְטָרְכוּ עוֹד לְאוֹר נֵר וּלְאוֹר שָׁמֶשׁ כִּי־יְהוָֹה אֱלֹהִים הוּא יָאִיר לָהֶם וְיִמְלְכוּ עַד־עוֹלְמֵי עוֹלָמִים
6 The angel said to me, 'Al that you have written is sure and wil come true: the Lord God who inspiresthe prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place.	6 וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲמִתִּים וְנֶאֱמָנִים הֵם וַיהוָֹה אֱלֹהֵי רוּחוֹת הַנְּבִיאִים הַקְּדשִׁים שָׁלַח אֶת־מַלְאָכוֹ לְהַרְאוֹת אֶת־עֲבָדָיו אֵת אֲשֶׁר־הָיֹה יִהְיֶה בִּמְהֵרָה
7 I am coming soon!' Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.	7 הִנְנִי בָא מַהֵר אַשְׁרֵי הַשֹּׁמֵר אֶת־דִּבְרֵי נְבוּאַת הַסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them all, I knelt atthe feet of the angel who had shown them to me, to worship him;	8 וַאֲנִי יוֹחָנָן הוּא הָרֹאֶה אֵלֶּה וְשֹׁמְעָם וַיְהִי כְּשָׁמְעִי וְכִרְאוֹתִי וָאֶפֹּל לִפְנֵי רַגְלֵי הַמַּלְאָךְ אֲשֶׁר־הֶרְאַנִי אֶת־אֵלֶּה לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺת לוֹ
9 but he said, 'Do no such thing: I am your fel ow-servant and the fel ow-servant of your brothers theprophets and those who keep the message of this book. God alone you must worship.'	9 וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי רְאֵה אַל־תַּעֲשֶׂה־זֹּאת כִּי־עֶבֶד כָּמוֹךָ אָנֹכִי וְחָבֵר לְךָ וּלְאַחֶיךָ הַנְּבִיאִים וְלַשֹּׁמְרִים אֶת־דִּבְרֵי הַסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה לֵאלֹהִים הִשְׁתַּחֲוֵה
10 This, too, he said to me, 'Do not keep the prophecies in this book a secret, because the Time isclose.	10 וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלַי אַל־תַּחְתֹּם אֶת־דִּבְרֵי נְבוּאַת הַסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה כִּי קָרוֹב הַמּוֹעֵד
11 Meanwhile let the sinner continue sinning, and the unclean continue to be unclean; let the uprightcontinue in his uprightness, and those who are holy continue to be holy.	11 הַחוֹמֵס יוֹסִיף לַחְמֹס וְהַטָּמֵא יוֹסִיף לְהִטַּמֵּא וְהַצַּדִּיק יוֹסִיף לְהִצָּדֵק וְהַקָּדוֹשׁ יוֹסִיף לְהִתְקַדֵּשׁ
12 Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	12 וְהִנְנִי בָא מַהֵר וּשְׂכָרִי אִתִּי לְשַׁלֵּם לְכָל־אִישׁ כְּמַעֲשֵׂהוּ
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.	13 אֲנִי הָאָלֶף וְהַתָּו הָרֹאשׁ וְהַסּוֹף הָרִאשׁוֹן וְהָאַחֲרוֹן
14 Blessed are those who wil have washed their robes clean, so that they wil have the right to feed onthe tree of life and can come through the gates into the city.	14 אַשְׁרֵי הָעֹשִׂים אֶת־מִצְוֺתָיו הַמְכַבְּסִים אֶת־שִׂמְלֹתָם לְמַעַן תִּהְיֶה מֶמְשַׁלְתָּם בְּעֵץ הַחַיִּים וּבָאוּ הָעִירָה דֶּרֶךְ הַשְּׁעָרִים
15 Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tel ers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, andeveryone of false speech and false life.'	15 וּמִחוּץ לָהּ הַכְּלָבִים וְהַמְכַשְּׁפִים וְהַזֹּנִים וְהַמְרַצְּחִים וְעֹבְדֵי הָאֱלִילִים וְכָל־אֹהֵב שֶׁקֶר וְעֹשֵׂהוּ
16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprigfrom the root of David and the bright star of the morning.	16 אֲנִי יֵשׁוּעַ שָׁלַחְתִּי אֶת־מַלְאָכִי לְהָעִיד לָכֶם אֶת־אֵלֶּה בִּפְנֵי הַקְּהִלּוֹת אָנֹכִי שֹׁרֶשׁ דָּוִד וְתוֹלַדְתּוֹ כּוֹכַב נֹּגַהּ הַשָּׁחַר
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' Let everyone who listens answer, 'Come!' Then let al who arethirsty come: all who want it may have the water of life, and have it free.	17 וְהָרוּחַ וְהַכַּלָּה אֹמְרִים בֹּא וְהַשֹּׁמֵעַ יֹאמַר בֹּא וְהַצָּמֵא יָבוֹא וְהֶחָפֵץ יִקַּח מַיִם חַיִּים חִנָּם
18 This is my solemn attestation to al who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds anything tothem, God wil add to him every plague mentioned in the book;	18 מֵעִיד אֲנִי בְּכָל־הַשֹּׁמֵעַ דִּבְרֵי נְבוּאַת הַסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה אִם־יוֹסִיף אִישׁ עֲלֵיהֶם יוֹסִיף עָלָיו הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת־הַמַּכּוֹת הַכְּתוּבוֹת בַּסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה
19 if anyone cuts anything out of the prophecies in this book, God wil cut off his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in the book.	19 וְאִם־יִגְרַע אִישׁ מִדִּבְרֵי סֵפֶר הַנְּבוּאָה הַזֹּאת יִגְרַע הָאֱלֹהִים אֶת־חֶלְקוֹ מֵעֵץ הַחַיִּים וּמֵעִיר הַקֹּדֶשׁ הַכְּתוּבִים בַּסֵּפֶר הַזֶּה
20 The one who attests these things says: I am indeed coming soon. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.	20 הַמֵּעִיד אֶת־אֵלֶּה אֹמֵר אָמְנָם כֵּן אֲנִי בָא מַהֵר אָמֵן בֹּאָה־נָּא הָאָדוֹן יֵשׁוּעַ
21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you al . Amen.	21 חֶסֶד אֲדֹנֵינוּ יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ עִם־כֻּלְּכֶם וְכָל־הַקְּדוֹשִׁים אָמֵן
