Revelation 22

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowingcrystal-clear.	1 Mostrou-me então o anjo um rio de água viva resplandecente como cristal de rocha, saindo do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro.
2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelvecrops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations.	2 No meio da avenida e às duas margens do rio, achava-se uma árvore da vida, que produz doze frutos, dando cada mês um fruto, servindo as folhas da árvore para curar as nações.
3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb wil be in the city; hisservants will worship him,	3 Não haverá aí nada de execrável, mas nela estará o trono de Deus e do Cordeiro. Seus servos lhe prestarão um culto.
4 they wil see him face to face, and his name wil be written on their foreheads.	4 Verão a sua face e o seu nome estará nas suas frontes.
5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will beshining on them. They wil reign for ever and ever.	5 Já não haverá noite, nem se precisará da luz de lâmpada ou do sol, porque o Senhor Deus a iluminará, e hão de reinar pelos séculos dos séculos.
6 The angel said to me, 'Al that you have written is sure and wil come true: the Lord God who inspiresthe prophets has sent his angel to reveal to his servants what is soon to take place.	6 Ele me disse: Estas palavras são fiéis e verdadeiras, e o Senhor Deus dos espíritos dos profetas enviou o seu anjo para mostrar aos seus servos o que deve acontecer em breve.
7 I am coming soon!' Blessed are those who keep the prophetic message of this book.	7 Eis que venho em breve! Felizes aqueles que põem em prática as palavras da profecia deste livro.
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them all, I knelt atthe feet of the angel who had shown them to me, to worship him;	8 Fui eu, João, que vi e ouvi estas coisas. Depois de as ter ouvido e visto, prostrei-me aos pés do anjo que as mostrava.
9 but he said, 'Do no such thing: I am your fel ow-servant and the fel ow-servant of your brothers theprophets and those who keep the message of this book. God alone you must worship.'	9 Mas ele me disse: Não faças isto! Sou um servo como tu e teus irmãos, os profetas, e aqueles que guardam as palavras deste livro. Prostra-te diante de Deus.
10 This, too, he said to me, 'Do not keep the prophecies in this book a secret, because the Time isclose.	10 Disse ele ainda: Não seles o texto profético deste livro, porque o momento está próximo.
11 Meanwhile let the sinner continue sinning, and the unclean continue to be unclean; let the uprightcontinue in his uprightness, and those who are holy continue to be holy.	11 O injusto faça ainda injustiças, o impuro pratique impurezas. Mas o justo faça a justiça e o santo santifique-se ainda mais.
12 Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	12 Eis que venho em breve, e a minha recompensa está comigo, para dar a cada um conforme as suas obras.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.	13 Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o Primeiro e o Último, o Começo e o Fim.
14 Blessed are those who wil have washed their robes clean, so that they wil have the right to feed onthe tree of life and can come through the gates into the city.	14 Felizes aqueles que lavam as suas vestes para ter direito à árvore da vida e poder entrar na cidade pelas portas.
15 Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tel ers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, andeveryone of false speech and false life.'	15 Fora os cães, os envenenadores, os impudicos, os homicidas, os idólatras e todos aqueles que amam e praticam a mentira!
16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprigfrom the root of David and the bright star of the morning.	16 Eu, Jesus, enviei o meu anjo para vos atestar estas coisas a respeito das igrejas. Eu sou a raiz e o descendente de Davi, a estrela radiosa da manhã.
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' Let everyone who listens answer, 'Come!' Then let al who arethirsty come: all who want it may have the water of life, and have it free.	17 O Espírito e a Esposa dizem: Vem! Possa aquele que ouve dizer também: Vem! Aquele que tem sede, venha! E que o homem de boa vontade receba, gratuitamente, da água da vida!
18 This is my solemn attestation to al who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds anything tothem, God wil add to him every plague mentioned in the book;	18 Eu declaro a todos aqueles que ouvirem as palavras da profecia deste livro: se alguém lhes ajuntar alguma coisa, Deus ajuntará sobre ele as pragas descritas neste livro;
19 if anyone cuts anything out of the prophecies in this book, God wil cut off his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in the book.	19 e se alguém dele tirar qualquer coisa, Deus lhe tirará a sua parte da árvore da vida e da Cidade Santa, descritas neste livro.
20 The one who attests these things says: I am indeed coming soon. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.	20 Aquele que atesta estas coisas diz: Sim! Eu venho depressa! Amém. Vem, Senhor Jesus!
21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you al . Amen.	21 A graça do Senhor Jesus esteja com todos.
