Revelation 22

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Then the angel showed me the river of life, rising from the throne of God and of the Lamb and flowingcrystal-clear.	1 Mi mostrò poi un fiume d'acqua viva, limpido come cristallo, che scaturiva dal trono di Dio e dell'Agnello.
2 Down the middle of the city street, on either bank of the river were the trees of life, which bear twelvecrops of fruit in a year, one in each month, and the leaves of which are the cure for the nations.	2 Fra la piazza e il fiume, di qua e di là, vi sono alberi di vita, che portano frutto dodici volte, una ogni mese, con foglie che hanno virtù medicinale per la guarigione delle genti.
3 The curse of destruction will be abolished. The throne of God and of the Lamb wil be in the city; hisservants will worship him,	3 E ogni maledizione non vi sarà più; ma il trono di Dio e dell'Agnello sarà in mezzo a lei, i suoi servi a lui presteranno culto;
4 they wil see him face to face, and his name wil be written on their foreheads.	4 contempleranno la sua faccia e porteranno sulla fronte il suo nome.
5 And night will be abolished; they will not need lamplight or sunlight, because the Lord God will beshining on them. They wil reign for ever and ever.	5 E poiché notte più non vi sarà non hanno bisogno di luce di lampada né di luce di sole; poiché il Signore Dio spanderà su loro la sua luce, e regneranno nei secoli dei secoli.

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I had heard and seen them all, I knelt atthe feet of the angel who had shown them to me, to worship him;	8 Io, Giovanni, ho udito e veduto queste cose. Ora, quando le audizioni e le visioni ebbero termine, caddi ai piedi dell'angelo in segno di adorazione.
9 but he said, 'Do no such thing: I am your fel ow-servant and the fel ow-servant of your brothers theprophets and those who keep the message of this book. God alone you must worship.'	9 Ma egli mi disse: "Guàrdati dal farlo! Anch'io sono servo come te e come i profeti tuoi fratelli e come quelli che osserveranno le parole di questo libro. Dio solo adorerai!".
10 This, too, he said to me, 'Do not keep the prophecies in this book a secret, because the Time isclose.	10 E aggiunse: "Non tenere nascoste le parole profetiche di questo libro; il tempo, infatti, è vicino!
11 Meanwhile let the sinner continue sinning, and the unclean continue to be unclean; let the uprightcontinue in his uprightness, and those who are holy continue to be holy.	11 L'ingiusto commetta pure ingiustizie, l'immondo si faccia sempre più immondo, e il giusto séguiti ad agire secondo giustizia e il santo si santifichi ancor più!
12 Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay everyone as their deeds deserve.	12 Ecco: vengo presto; con me ho la mercede che darò a ciascuno secondo le sue opere.
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.	13 Io sono l'Alfa e l'Omega, il Primo e l'Ultimo, il Principio e la Fine.
14 Blessed are those who wil have washed their robes clean, so that they wil have the right to feed onthe tree of life and can come through the gates into the city.	14 Beati coloro che lavano le loro vesti, così da poter mangiare dall'albero della vita ed entrare attraverso le porte nella città.
15 Others must stay outside: dogs, fortune-tel ers, and the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, andeveryone of false speech and false life.'	15 Fuori i cani, venefici, impudichi, omicidi, idolatri e chiunque ama e pratica la menzogna!".
16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to attest these things to you for the sake of the churches. I am the sprigfrom the root of David and the bright star of the morning.	16 "Io, Gesù, ho inviato il mio angelo che attestasse a voi quanto concerne le chiese. Io sono la radice, la stirpe di Davide, la stella lucente del mattino".
17 The Spirit and the Bride say, 'Come!' Let everyone who listens answer, 'Come!' Then let al who arethirsty come: all who want it may have the water of life, and have it free.	17 Lo Spirito e la Sposa dicono: "Vieni!"; così chi ascolta dica: "Vieni!". Colui che ha sete venga e chi ne ha desiderio attinga gratuitamente l'acqua della vita.
18 This is my solemn attestation to al who hear the prophecies in this book: if anyone adds anything tothem, God wil add to him every plague mentioned in the book;	18 A chi ascolta le parole profetiche di questo libro dichiaro: se qualcuno farà delle aggiunte ad esse, Dio farà giungere su di lui i flagelli descritti in questo libro.
19 if anyone cuts anything out of the prophecies in this book, God wil cut off his share of the tree of life and of the holy city, which are described in the book.	19 E se uno sottrarrà qualcosa dalle parole di questo libro profetico, Dio sottrarrà la sua sorte dall'albero della vita e dalla Città santa, descritte in questo libro.
20 The one who attests these things says: I am indeed coming soon. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.	20 Colui che attesta queste cose dice: "Sì, vengo presto!". Amen. Vieni, o Signore Gesù!
