1 John 2

NEW JERUSALEM	EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL
1 My children, I am writing this to prevent you from sinning; but if anyone does sin, we have an advocatewith the Father, Jesus Christ, the upright.	1 Meine Kinder, ich schreibe euch dies, damit ihr nicht sündigt. Wenn aber einer sündigt, haben wir einen Beistand beim Vater: Jesus Christus, den Gerechten.
2 He is the sacrifice to expiate our sins, and not only ours, but also those of the whole world.	2 Er ist die Sühne für unsere Sünden, aber nicht nur für unsere Sünden, sondern auch für die der ganzen Welt.
3 In this way we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.	3 Wenn wir seine Gebote halten, erkennen wir, dass wir ihn erkannt haben.
4 Whoever says, 'I know him' without keeping his commandments, is a liar, and truth has no place in him.	4 Wer sagt: Ich habe ihn erkannt!, aber seine Gebote nicht hält, ist ein Lügner und die Wahrheit ist nicht in ihm.
5 But anyone who does keep his word, in such a one God's love truly reaches its perfection. This is theproof that we are in God.	5 Wer sich aber an sein Wort hält, in dem ist die Gottesliebe wahrhaft vollendet. Wir erkennen daran, dass wir in ihm sind.
6 Whoever claims to remain in him must act as he acted.	6 Wer sagt, dass er in ihm bleibt, muss auch leben, wie er gelebt hat.
7 My dear friends, this is not a new commandment I am writing for you, but an old commandment that youhave had from the beginning; the old commandment is the message you have heard.	7 Liebe Brüder, ich schreibe euch kein neues Gebot, sondern ein altes Gebot, das ihr von Anfang an hattet. Das alte Gebot ist das Wort, das ihr gehört habt.
8 Yet in another way, I am writing a new commandment for you -- and this is true for you, just as much asfor him -- for darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.	8 Und doch schreibe ich euch ein neues Gebot, etwas, das in ihm und in euch verwirklicht ist; denn die Finsternis geht vorüber und schon leuchtet das wahre Licht.
9 Whoever claims to be in light but hates his brother is still in darkness.	9 Wer sagt, er sei im Licht, aber seinen Bruder hasst, ist noch in der Finsternis.
10 Anyone who loves his brother remains in light and there is in him nothing to make him fall away.	10 Wer seinen Bruder liebt, bleibt im Licht; da gibt es für ihn kein Straucheln.
11 But whoever hates his brother is in darkness and is walking about in darkness not knowing where he isgoing, because darkness has blinded him.	11 Wer aber seinen Bruder hasst, ist in der Finsternis. Er geht in der Finsternis und weiß nicht, wohin er geht; denn die Finsternis hat seine Augen blind gemacht.
12 I am writing to you, children, because your sins have been forgiven through his name.	12 Ich schreibe euch, ihr Kinder, dass euch durch seinen Namen die Sünden vergeben sind.
13 I am writing to you, fathers, because you have come to know the One who has existed since thebeginning. I am writing to you, young people, because you have overcome the Evil One.	13 Ich schreibe euch, ihr Väter, dass ihr den erkannt habt, der von Anfang an ist. Ich schreibe euch, ihr jungen Männer, dass ihr den Bösen besiegt habt.
14 I have written to you, children, because you have come to know the Father. I have written to you,parents, because you have come to know the One who has existed since the beginning. I have written to you,young people, because you are strong, and God's word remains in you, and you have overcome the Evil One.	14 Ich schreibe euch, ihr Kinder, dass ihr den Vater erkannt habt. Ich schreibe euch, ihr Väter, dass ihr den erkannt habt, der von Anfang an ist. Ich schreibe euch, ihr jungen Männer, dass ihr stark seid, dass das Wort Gottes in euch bleibt und dass ihr den Bösen besiegt habt.
15 Do not love the world or what is in the world. If anyone does love the world, the love of the Father findsno place in him,	15 Liebt nicht die Welt und was in der Welt ist! Wer die Welt liebt, hat die Liebe zum Vater nicht.
16 because everything there is in the world -- disordered bodily desires, disordered desires of the eyes,pride in possession -- is not from the Father but is from the world.	16 Denn alles, was in der Welt ist, die Begierde des Fleisches, die Begierde der Augen und das Prahlen mit dem Besitz, ist nicht vom Vater, sondern von der Welt.
17 And the world, with al its disordered desires, is passing away. But whoever does the will of Godremains for ever.	17 Die Welt und ihre Begierde vergeht; wer aber den Willen Gottes tut, bleibt in Ewigkeit.
18 Children, this is the final hour; you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and now many Antichristshave already come; from this we know that it is the final hour.	18 Meine Kinder, es ist die letzte Stunde. Ihr habt gehört, dass der Antichrist kommt, und jetzt sind viele Antichriste gekommen. Daran erkennen wir, dass es die letzte Stunde ist.
19 They have gone from among us, but they never real y belonged to us; if they had belonged to us, theywould have stayed with us. But this was to prove that not one of them belonged to us.	19 Sie sind aus unserer Mitte gekommen, aber sie gehörten nicht zu uns; denn wenn sie zu uns gehört hätten, wären sie bei uns geblieben. Es sollte aber offenbar werden, dass sie alle nicht zu uns gehörten.
20 But you have been anointed by the Holy One, and have al received knowledge.	20 Ihr habt die Salbung von dem, der heilig ist, und ihr alle wisst es.
21 I have written to you not because you are ignorant of the truth, but because you are wel aware of it,and because no lie can come from the truth.	21 Ich schreibe euch nicht, dass ihr die Wahrheit nicht wisst, sondern ich schreibe euch, dass ihr sie wisst und dass keine Lüge von der Wahrheit stammt.
22 Who is the liar, if not one who claims that Jesus is not the Christ? This is the Antichrist, who deniesboth the Father and the Son.	22 Wer ist der Lügner - wenn nicht der, der leugnet, dass Jesus der Christus ist? Das ist der Antichrist: wer den Vater und den Sohn leugnet.
23 Whoever denies the Son cannot have the Father either; whoever acknowledges the Son has theFather too.	23 Wer leugnet, dass Jesus der Sohn ist, hat auch den Vater nicht; wer bekennt, dass er der Sohn ist, hat auch den Vater.
24 Let what you heard in the beginning remain in you; as long as what you heard in the beginningremains in you, you will remain in the Son and in the Father.	24 Für euch gilt: Was ihr von Anfang an gehört habt, soll in euch bleiben; wenn das, was ihr von Anfang an gehört habt, in euch bleibt, dann bleibt ihr im Sohn und im Vater.
25 And the promise he made you himself is eternal life.	25 Und seine Verheißung an uns ist das ewige Leben.
26 So much have I written to you about those who are trying to lead you astray.	26 Dies habe ich euch über die geschrieben, die euch in die Irre führen.
27 But as for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone toteach you; since the anointing he gave you teaches you everything, and since it is true, not false, remain in himjust as he has taught you.	27 Für euch aber gilt: Die Salbung, die ihr von ihm empfangen habt, bleibt in euch und ihr braucht euch von niemand belehren zu lassen. Alles, was seine Salbung euch lehrt, ist wahr und keine Lüge. Bleibt in ihm, wie es euch seine Salbung gelehrt hat.
28 Therefore remain in him now, children, so that when he appears we may be fearless, and not shrinkfrom him in shame at his coming.	28 Und jetzt, meine Kinder, bleibt in ihm, damit wir, wenn er erscheint, die Zuversicht haben und bei seinem Kommen nicht zu unserer Schande von ihm gerichtet werden.
29 If you know that he is upright you must recognise that everyone whose life is upright is a child of his.	29 Wenn ihr wisst, dass er gerecht ist, erkennt auch, dass jeder, der die Gerechtigkeit tut, von Gott stammt.
