NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA CEI 2008
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and said:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne e disse:
2 'This is a decree of the Law which Yahweh has prescribed. Tel the Israelites, they are to bring you ared heifer without fault or blemish that has never borne the yoke.	2 «Questa è una disposizione della legge che il Signore ha prescritto. Ordina agli Israeliti che ti portino una giovenca rossa, senza macchia, senza difetti e che non abbia mai portato il giogo.
3 You will give it to the priest Eleazar. It wil then be taken outside the camp and slaughtered in hispresence.	3 La darete al sacerdote Eleàzaro, che la condurrà fuori dell’accampamento e la farà immolare in sua presenza.
4 The priest Eleazar wil then take some of the victim's blood on his finger, and sprinkle this bloodseven times towards the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	4 Il sacerdote Eleàzaro prenderà con il dito un po’ del sangue della giovenca e ne farà sette volte l’aspersione davanti alla tenda del convegno;
5 The heifer wil then be burnt while he looks on; its hide, flesh, blood and offal wil be burnt.	5 poi si brucerà la giovenca sotto i suoi occhi: se ne brucerà la pelle, la carne e il sangue con gli escrementi.
6 The priest wil then take some cedar wood, hyssop and scarlet material and throw them on the firewhere the heifer is burning.	6 Il sacerdote prenderà legno di cedro, issòpo, tintura scarlatta e getterà tutto nel fuoco che consuma la giovenca.
7 He will then wash his clothes and bathe himself; after which he wil go back to the camp, though hewil remain unclean until evening.	7 Poi il sacerdote laverà le sue vesti e farà un bagno al suo corpo nell’acqua, quindi rientrerà nell’accampamento; il sacerdote sarà impuro fino alla sera.
8 The man who has burnt the heifer wil wash his clothes and bathe himself and will remain uncleanuntil evening.	8 Colui che avrà bruciato la giovenca si laverà le vesti nell’acqua, farà un bagno al suo corpo nell’acqua e sarà impuro fino alla sera.
9 The man who gathers up the ashes of the heifer must be ritually clean; he will deposit them outsidethe camp, in a clean place. They wil be kept for the ritual use of the Israelite community for making water forpurification; it is a sacrifice for sin.	9 Un uomo puro raccoglierà le ceneri della giovenca e le depositerà fuori dell’accampamento in luogo puro, dove saranno conservate per la comunità degli Israeliti per l’acqua di purificazione: è un rito per il peccato.
10 The man who has gathered up the ashes of the heifer wil wash his clothes and remain unclean untilevening. For the Israelites as for the resident alien, this wil be a perpetual decree.	10 Colui che avrà raccolto le ceneri della giovenca si laverà le vesti e sarà impuro fino alla sera. Questa sarà una legge perenne per gli Israeliti e per lo straniero che dimorerà presso di loro.
11 'Anyone who touches the corpse of anyone whatever wil be unclean for seven days.	11 Chi avrà toccato il cadavere di qualsiasi persona, sarà impuro per sette giorni.
12 Such a person must be purified with these waters on the third and seventh day and will then beclean; otherwise he wil not be clean.	12 Quando uno si sarà purificato con quell’acqua il terzo e il settimo giorno, sarà puro; ma se non si purifica il terzo e il settimo giorno, non sarà puro.
13 Anyone who touches the corpse of anyone who has died and is not purified, defiles Yahweh'sDwelling; such a person wil be outlawed from Israel, since the water for purification has not been sprinkled overhim; he is unclean, and his uncleanness remains in him.	13 Chiunque avrà toccato il cadavere di una persona che è morta e non si sarà purificato, avrà contaminato la Dimora del Signore e sarà eliminato da Israele. Siccome l’acqua di purificazione non è stata spruzzata su di lui, egli è impuro; ha ancora addosso l’impurità.
14 'This is the law when someone dies in a tent. Anyone who goes into the tent, or anyone who isalready in it, wil be unclean for seven days,	14 Questa è la legge per quando un uomo muore in una tenda: chiunque entrerà nella tenda, e tutto ciò che è nella tenda, sarà impuro per sette giorni.
15 and every open vessel with no cover tied over it wil also be unclean.	15 Ogni vaso scoperto, sul quale non sia un coperchio o una legatura, sarà impuro.
16 'Anyone in the open country who touches a murder victim, a corpse, human bones or a grave wil beunclean for seven days.	16 Chiunque sulla superficie di un campo avrà toccato un uomo ucciso di spada o morto di morte naturale o un osso d’uomo o un sepolcro, sarà impuro per sette giorni.
17 'For someone thus unclean, some of the ashes of the victim burnt as a sacrifice for sin wil be takenand spring water must be poured over them, in a vessel.	17 Per colui che sarà divenuto impuro si prenderà la cenere della vittima bruciata per l’espiazione e vi si verserà sopra l’acqua corrente, in un vaso;
18 Someone who is ritual y clean wil then take some hyssop and dip it in the water. This person wilthen sprinkle the tent, all the vessels and people who were there, and similarly anyone who has touched humanbones, a murder victim, a corpse or a grave.	18 poi un uomo puro prenderà issòpo, lo intingerà nell’acqua e ne aspergerà la tenda, tutti gli arredi e tutte le persone che erano là e colui che ha toccato l’osso o l’ucciso o il morto o il sepolcro.
19 On the third and the seventh day the clean one wil sprinkle the unclean, who on the seventh day wilbe clean. The latter wil then wash his clothes and bathe in water, and in the evening he wil be clean.	19 L’uomo puro aspergerà l’impuro il terzo giorno e il settimo giorno e lo purificherà il settimo giorno; poi colui che è stato impuro si laverà le vesti, farà un bagno con l’acqua e alla sera diventerà puro.
20 Anyone who fails to be purified in this way wil be outlawed from the community, and would defileYahweh's sanctuary. Such a person is unclean, not having been sprinkled with the water for purification.	20 Ma colui che, reso impuro, non si purificherà, sarà eliminato dall’assemblea, perché ha contaminato il santuario del Signore e l’acqua della purificazione non è stata aspersa su di lui: è impuro.
21 'This wil be a perpetual decree for them. The person who sprinkles the water for purification wilwash his clothes, and anyone who touches the water for purification wil be unclean until evening.	21 Sarà per loro una legge perenne. Colui che avrà asperso l’acqua di purificazione si laverà le vesti; chi avrà toccato l’acqua di purificazione sarà impuro fino alla sera.
22 Anything that an unclean person touches wil be unclean, and anyone who touches it wil be uncleanuntil evening.'	22 Quanto l’impuro avrà toccato, sarà impuro; chi lo avrà toccato sarà impuro fino alla sera».
