1 In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month,fourteen years to the day from the capture of the city, the hand of Yahweh was on me. He carried me away:	1 Il ventesimo quinto anno della nostra trasmigrazione, al principio dell'anno, a' dieci del mese, quattordici anni dopo la ruina della città, in quel medesimo giorno, la mano del Signore fu sopra di me, e menommi colà.
2 in divine visions, he carried me away to the land of Israel and put me down on a very high mountain,on the south of which there seemed to be built a city.	2 In una visione divina mi condusse nella terra d'Israele, e posommi sopra un monte molto elevato, sopra di cui era come la fabbrica di una città volta a mezzodì,
3 He took me to it, and there I saw a man, whose appearance was like brass. He had a flax cord and ameasuring rod in his hand and was standing in the gateway.	3 E introdussemi colà dentro, ed ecco un uomo, che era a vedersi splendente come bronzo, e aveva in mano una corda fatta di lino, e nell'altra mano una canna da misurare, ed ei stavasi sulla porta.
4 The man said to me, 'Son of man, look careful y, listen closely and pay attention to everything I showyou, since you have been brought here only for me to show it to you. Tel the House of Israel everything that yousee.'	4 E lo stesso uomo mi disse: Figliuolo dell'uomo, mira co' tuoi occhi, e ascolta co' tuoi orecchi, ed applica il cuor tuo a tutte le cose, che io ti farò vedere; perocché, affinchè ti fosser dimostre, tu qua se' stato condotto: e annunzia tutto quello, che vedi, alla casa d'Israele.
5 Now, the Temple was surrounded on all sides by an outer wall. The man was holding a measuring rodsix cubits long, each cubit a forearm and a handsbreadth. He measured the thickness of this construction -- onerod; and its height -- one rod.	5 Ed ecco al di fuori un muro tutt' all'intorno della casa, e l'uomo, avendo in mano una canna della misura di sei cubiti, e un palmo, misurò la larghezza dell'edifizio, che era di una canna, e l'altezza pure di una canna.
6 He went to the east gate, climbed the steps and measured its threshold: one rod deep.	6 E andò alla porta, che guardava all'oriente, e salì la sua scalinata, e misurò il liminare della porta di una canna in larghezza, viene a dire, ognuno de' liminari era largo una canna.
7 Each guardroom one rod by one rod; and the piers between the guardrooms five cubits thick, and thethreshold of the gate inwards from the porch of the gate: one rod.	7 E ogni camera avea una canna di lunghezza, e una di larghezza, e tra una camera, e l'altra v'erano cinque cubiti.
8	8 E il liminare della porta presso al vestibolo dentro alla porta era di una canna.
9 He measured the porch of the gate: eight cubits; its piers: two cubits; the porch of the gate was at theinner end.	9 E misurò il vestibolo della porta, che era di otto cubiti, e la fronte di due cubiti: il vestibolo della porta era al di dentro.
10 There were three guardrooms on each side of the east gate, al three of the same size; the piersbetween them al of the same thickness each side.	10 Or alla porta di oriente erano tre camere da una parte; e tre dall'altra, e le tre camere avean la stessa misura, e la stessa misura aveano le fronti dall'una parte, e dall'altra.
11 He measured the width of the entrance: ten cubits; and the width al down the gateway: thirteencubits.	11 Ed ei misurò la larghezza del liminare della porta, che era di dieci cubiti, e la lunghezza della porta di tredici cubiti.
12 There was a rail in front of the guardrooms; each rail on either side was one cubit. And theguardrooms on either side were six cubits square.	12 E lo sporto davanti alle camere era d'un cubito: un cubito facea tutta la sua misura dall'una, e dall'altra parte, e le camere di qua, e di là erano di sei cubiti.
13 He measured the width of the gate from the back wal of one guardroom to the back wall of the other;it was twenty-five cubits across, the openings being opposite each other.	13 E misurò la porta dal tetto di una camera fino al tetto dell'altra, di larghezza di venticinque cubiti: la porta dell'una (camera) era dirimpetto all'altra.
14 He measured the porch: twenty cubits; the court surrounded the gate on al sides.	14 E fece le facciate di sessanta cubiti, e alla facciata fece (corrispondente) l'atrio della porta tutt' all'intorno.
15 From the front of the entrance gate, to the far end of the porch of the inner gate: fifty cubits.	15 E dalla facciata davanti della porta fino alla facciata interiore dell'altra porta del vestibolo, cubiti cinquanta.
16 Al round inside the gate there were trel ised windows in the guardrooms and in their piers; similarly,in the porch there were windows all round and palm trees on the piers.	16 E (fece) delle finestre obblique nelle camere, e nelle facciate, che eran dentro la porta d'ogni parte all'intorno: e similmente eranvi ancora nei vestiboli delle finestre al di dentro tutt' all'intorno, e davanti alle facciate (erano) palme scolpite.
17 He then took me to the outer court, which had rooms and a paved terrace going all the way round;there were thirty rooms on this terrace.	17 E menommi all'atrio esteriore, e vidi le stanze, e il pavimento dell'atrio era lastricato di pietra: erano trenta stanze intorno al pavimento.
18 This terrace, which came up to the sides of the gates and matched their depth, was the LowerTerrace. He measured the width of the court,	18 E il pavimento in faccia alle porte era più basso secondo la lunghezza delle porte.
19 from the front of the lower gate to the fac ade of the inner court, outside: a hundred cubits (on theeast and on the north).	19 E misurò la larghezza della soglia della porta inferiore sino al principio dell'atrio interiore per di fuori, cento cubiti all'oriente, e (altrettanti) a settentrione.
20 He measured the length and breadth of the north gate of the outer court.	20 Misurò eziandio tanto la lunghezza, che la larghezza della porta dell'atrio esteriore, che guardava a settentrione.
21 It had three guardrooms on each side; its piers and porch were of the same size as those of the firstgate: fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.	21 E le sue camere tre da una, e tre dall'altra parte, e il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo secondo la misura della prima porta, ella era cinquanta cubiti lunga, e larga venticinque cubiti.
22 Its windows, its porch and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the east gate. 23 In the inner court there was, opposite the north gate, a gate like the one opposite the east gate. 24 He took me to the south side where there was a south gate; he measured its guardrooms, piers andporch; they were of the same size as the others.	24 E menommi dalla parte di mezzodì, e vidi la porta, che guardava mezzodì, e misurò il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo eguali in misura agli altri.
25 The gateway, as wel as its porch, had windows al round, like the windows of the others; it was fiftycubits long and twenty-five cubits wide,	25 E le sue finestre, e i vestiboli all'intorno eran come le altre finestre, cinquanta cubiti lunghe, larghe venticinque.
26 and it had seven steps up to it; its porch was at the inner end and had palm trees on its piers, one oneither side.	26 E ad essa (porta) si saliva per sette scalini, e dinanzi ad essa era il vestibolo, ed eranvi le palme scolpite, una da un lato, una dall'altro per davanti
27 The inner court had a south gate; he measured the distance southwards from one gate to the other: ahundred cubits.	27 E la porta dell'atrio interiore era a mezzodì, e misurò da una porta all'altra a mezzodì cento cubiti.
28 He then took me into the inner court by the south gate; he measured the south gate which was of thesame size as the others.	28 E mi condusse nell'atrio interiore alla porta di mezzodì, e misurò la porta, simile nella misura alle precedenti.

36 Its guardrooms, piers and porch were of the same size as the others. The gateway had windows alround; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.	36 Le sue camere, e il suo frontispizio, e il suo vestibolo, e le finestre all'intorno, cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza, venticinque di larghezza.

39 And inside the porch of the gateway were slabs, two on either side, for slaughtering the burntofferings, the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation.	39 E nel vestibolo della porta eran due mense dall'una parte, e due dall'altra, per immolare sopra di esse l'olocausto, e per il peccato, e per il delitto.
40 Outside, at the approach to the entrance of the north gate, were two slabs, and on the other side, atthe porch end of the gate were two slabs.	40 E dalla parte esteriore, che va all'ingresso della porta, che guarda settentrione, due mense, e dall'altro lato, davanti al vestibolo della porta, due mense.
41 There were four slabs on one side and four slabs on the other side of the gateway, eight slabs in all,on which the slaughtering was done.	41 Quattro mense da una parte, quattro mense dall'altra; ai lati della porta erano otto le mense, sulle quali faceransi le immolazioni.
42 There were also four slabs of dressed stone for the burnt offerings, a cubit and a half long, a cubitand a half wide and a cubit high, on which the instruments for slaughtering the burnt offerings and sacrifice wereplaced;	42 E le quattro mense per l'olocausto eran fatte di pietre quadre lunghe un cubito, e mezzo, e larghe un cubito, e mezzo ed alte un cubito per mettervi sopra i vasi, che si usano nell'immolare l'olocausto, e la vittima.
43 runnels a handsbreadth wide went al round the top, and on these slabs was put the sacrificial flesh.	43 Elle aveano tutto all'intorno una cornice, che si piegava verso la parte interiore, e sopra le mense poneansi le carni dell'obblazioni.
44 Then he took me into the inner court; there were two rooms in the inner court, one on the side of thenorth gate, facing south, the other on the side of the south gate, facing north.	44 E fuori della porta interiore eran le camere dei cantori nell'atrio interiore, che era allato alla porta, che guarda settentrione. La faccia loro era volta verso mezzodì. Una ve n'era allato alla porta orientale, la quale guardava settentrione.
45 He told me, 'The room looking south is for the priests responsible for the service of the Temple,	45 E quegli disse a me: Questa camera, che guarda mezzodì, sarà pei sacerdoti, che vegliano a guardia del tempio.
46 and the room looking north is for the priests responsible for the service of the altar. These are thesons of Zadok, those of the sons of Levi who approach Yahweh to serve him.'	46 La camera poi, che guarda settentrione, sarà pei sacerdoti, che vegliano nel servigio dell'altare. Questi sono i figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali sono posteri di Levi, e si appressano al Signore per servire a lui.
47 He measured the court; it was a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide, a square with thealtar standing in front of the Temple.	47 Ed ei misurò l'atrio, di lunghezza cento cubiti, e di larghezza cento cubiti in quadro, e l'altare, che era dinanzi alla facciata del tempio.
48 He took me to the Ulam of the Temple and measured the piers of the Ulam: five cubits either side;and the width of the entrance was three cubits either side.	48 E mi introdusse nel vestibolo del tempio, e misurò il vestibolo, che avea cinque cubiti da una parte, e cinque dall'altra, e la larghezza delle porte tre cubiti da un lato, e tre dall'altro.
49 The length of the Ulam was twenty cubits and its width twelve cubits. There were ten steps leadingup to it, and there were columns by the piers, one on either side.	49 E la lunghezza del vestibolo di venti cubiti, e la larghezza di undici cubiti, e vi si montava per otto scalini. E la facciata avea due colonne, una da una parte, una dall'altra.
