Ezekiel 12

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 E la parola del Signore mi fu indirizzata in questi termini:
2 'Son of man, you are living among a tribe of rebels who have eyes and never see, they have ears andnever hear, because they are a tribe of rebels.	2 «Figlio dell'uomo, tu abiti in mezzo ad una famiglia ribelle, che ha occhi per vedere e non vede, ha orecchi per udire e non sente, essendo una casa ribelle.
3 So, son of man, pack an exile's bundle and set off for exile by daylight while they watch. You will leaveyour home and go somewhere else while they watch. Then perhaps they will see that they are a tribe of rebels.	3 Tu dunque, o figlio dell'uomo, prepara il tuo bagaglio di emigrazione, ed emigrerai di giorno alla loro presenza, davanti ai loro occhi emigrerai dal luogo ove dimori in un altro, può essere che ci badino, chè sono una casa ribelle.
4 You will pack your baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight, while they watch, and leave like an exilein the evening, while they watch.	4 E davanti ai loro occhi e di giorno tu porterai fuori il tuo bagaglio, come per emigrare, e alla loro presenza tu partirai la sera, come partirebbe un emigrante.
5 While they watch, make a hole in the wal , and go out through it.	5 Davanti ai loro occhi, fatti un'apertura nella muraglia, ed esci da quella,
6 While they watch, you wil shoulder your pack and go out into the dark; you wil cover your face so thatyou cannot see the ground, since I have made you an omen for the House of Israel.'	6 in loro presenza tu sarai portato sulle spalle, e portato al buio, velerai la tua faccia e non vedrai la terra, perchè ti ho fatto come un segno per la casa d'Israele ».
7 I did as I had been told. I packed my baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight; and in the evening Imade a hole through the wall with my hands; then I went out into the dark and shouldered my pack while theywatched.	7 Ed io feci come mi aveva ordinato il Signore: di giorno misi fuori il mio bagaglio come bagaglio di emigrante, e la sera mi feci colle mani un'apertura nel muro, e davanti a loro uscii nel buio, portato sulle spalle.
8 Next morning the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 E la mattina il Signore mi parlò e mi disse:
9 'Son of man, did not the House of Israel, did not that tribe of rebels, ask you, "What are you doing?"	9 « Figlio dell'uomo, la casa d'Israele, la casa ribelle, non t'ha detto: « Che fai? »
10 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: This prophecy concerns Jerusalem and the whole House of Israelwho live there."	10 Di' loro: « Cosi parla il Signore Dio: Quest'annunzio pesante è per il capo che è a Gerusalemme, e per tutta la casa d'Israele che si trova dentro di lei.
11 Say, "I am an omen for you; as I have done, so wil be done to them; they will be deported into exile.	11 Di' (loro): Io sono per voi un segno: come ho fatto così sarà fatto a loro, ed essi saran deportati, andranno in schiavitù,
12 Their prince wil shoulder his pack in the dark and go out through the wal ; a hole will be made to lethim out; he wil cover his face, so that he cannot see the country.	12 e il capo che è in mezzo ad essi sarà portato sulle spalle ed uscirà al buio, faranno un'apertura nella muraglia per farlo uscire, e la sua faccia sarà velata, da non vedere coll'occhio la terra.
13 I shal throw my net over him and catch him in my mesh; I shall take him to Babylon, to the land ofthe Chaldaeans, though he wil not see it; and there he wil die.	13 Ed io stenderò sopra di lui la mia rete, e sarà preso nella mia rete, e lo condurrò a Babilonia, nella terra dei Caldei, e non la vedrà, e vi morirà.
14 And al those in attendance on him, his army and al his troops, I shal scatter to al the winds andunsheathe the sword behind them.	14 E tutti quelli che sono intorno a lui, le sue guardie, il suo esercito, io li disperderò per tutti i venti, e dietro ad essi sguainerò la spada.
15 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them throughout the nations and disperse themin foreign countries.	15 E sapranno che io sono il Signore, quando li avrò dispersi tra le nazioni e li avrò disseminati per la terra.
16 But I shall let a few of them escape the sword, famine and plague, to describe al their loathsomepractices to the peoples among whom they wil go, so that these too may know that I am Yahweh." '	16 E di essi farò restare un piccolo numero d'uomini, (scampati) alla spada, alla fame, alla peste, perchè raccontino tutte le loro scelleratezze fra le nazioni nelle quali entreranno; e sapranno che io sono il Signore ».
17 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	17 E il Signore mi parlò e mi disse:
18 'Son of man, you are to tremble as you eat your food and shudder apprehensively as you drink yourwater,	18 « Figlio dell'uomo, mangia il tuo pane nell'agitazione, bevi la tua acqua in fretta e con tristezza,
19 and you are to say to the people of the country, "The Lord Yahweh says this to the inhabitants ofJerusalem. They wil shudder apprehensively as they eat their food, and drink their water in fear, so that thecountry and its population may be freed from the violence of its inhabitants.	19 e dirai al popolo del paese: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio a quelli che abitano in Gerusalemme, nella terra d'Israele: Nell'ansietà mungeranno il loro pane, e berranno la loro acqua nella desolazione, perchè la terra resterà priva della sua moltitudine, per l'iniquità di tutti quelli che l'abitano.
20 When the populous cities have been destroyed and the country has been reduced to desert, then youwil know that I am Yahweh." '	20 E le città che ora sono abitate diverranno deserte, e la terra sarà abbandonata; e voi a saprete che io sono il Signore ».
21 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	21 E il Signore mi parlò e mi disse:
22 'Son of man, what do you understand by the saying pronounced over the land of Israel, "Days go byand visions fade"?	22 « Figlio dell'uomo, che proverbio è questo che (vi ripetono) nella terra d'Israele quelli che dicono: I giorni andranno in lungo ed ogni visione sarà senza effetto?
23 'Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal put an end to this saying; it will never beused in Israel again." Instead, tel them: "The days are coming when every vision wil come true,	23 Perciò di' loro: Cosi parla il Signore Dio: Io farò cessare questo proverbio, nè più sarà ripetuto dal popolo in Israele. Di' loro invece che son vicini i giorni e (l'avveramento) delle parole d'ogni profezia.
24 for there will be no more futile visions or deceptive prophecy in the House of Israel,	24 E non vi sarà più visione senza effetto, nè predizione ambigua tra i figli d'Israele.
25 since I, Yahweh, shal speak. And what I shal say wil come true without delay; for what I shall say, Ishall perform in your own lifetime, you tribe of rebels -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	25 Perchè parlerò io, il Signore, e tutto quello che avrò detto avverrà e non andrà più in lungo. Sì, proprio nei vostri giorni, o casa ribelle, io dirò le cose e le farò, — dice il Signore Dio ».
26 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	26 E il Signore mi parlò e mi disse:
27 'Son of man, the House of Israel is now saying, "The vision that this man sees concerns the distantfuture; he is prophesying for times far ahead."	27 Figlio dell'uomo, ecco la casa d'Israele è di quelli che dicono: « La visione che egli vede (avrà effetto) fra molti giorni, egli profetizza per tempi lontani ».
28 Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: There wil be no further delay in the fulfil ing of anyof my words. What I have said shal be done now -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	28 Per questo di' loro: Cosi parla il Signore Dio: Nessuna mia parola andrà più in lungo, ciò che avrò detto sarà adempito, — dice il Signore Dio ».
