Ezekiel 12

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, you are living among a tribe of rebels who have eyes and never see, they have ears andnever hear, because they are a tribe of rebels.	2 Hijo de hombre, tú habitas en medio de un pueblo rebelde: ellos tienen ojos para ver, pro no ven, tienen oídos para oír, pero no oyen, porque son un pueblo rebelde.
3 So, son of man, pack an exile's bundle and set off for exile by daylight while they watch. You will leaveyour home and go somewhere else while they watch. Then perhaps they will see that they are a tribe of rebels.	3 En cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, prepara tu equipaje como si tu vieras que ir al exilio, y parte en pleno día, a la vista de ellos. Emigrarás del lugar donde te encuentras hacia otro lugar, a la vista de ellos: tal vez así comprendan que son un pueblo rebelde.
4 You will pack your baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight, while they watch, and leave like an exilein the evening, while they watch.	4 Sacarás tu equipaje en pleno día, a la vista de ellos, y saldrás por la tarde, también a la vista de ellos, como salen los deportados.
5 While they watch, make a hole in the wal , and go out through it.	5 Abrirás un boquete en el muro y saldrás por él, a la vista de ellos.
6 While they watch, you wil shoulder your pack and go out into the dark; you wil cover your face so thatyou cannot see the ground, since I have made you an omen for the House of Israel.'	6 Cargarás el equipaje sobre tus espaldas y saldrás cuando sea de noche, cubriéndote el rostro para no ver el país, porque yo te he convertido en un presagio para el pueblo de Israel.
7 I did as I had been told. I packed my baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight; and in the evening Imade a hole through the wall with my hands; then I went out into the dark and shouldered my pack while theywatched.	7 Yo hice exactamente lo que se me había ordenado: saqué mi equipaje en pleno día como quien parte para el exilio, y por la tarde abrí un boquete en el muro con la mano. Salí cuando estaba oscuro y cargué el equipaje sobre mis espaldas, a la vista de ellos.
8 Next morning the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 A la mañana, la palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
9 'Son of man, did not the House of Israel, did not that tribe of rebels, ask you, "What are you doing?"	9 Hijo de hombre, ¿no te ha preguntado la casa de Israel, ese pueblo rebelde, qué es lo que estás haciendo?
10 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: This prophecy concerns Jerusalem and the whole House of Israelwho live there."	10 Diles: Así habla el Señor: Este oráculo se refiere al príncipe que está en Jerusalén y a todo el pueblo de Israel que vive en medio de ella.
11 Say, "I am an omen for you; as I have done, so wil be done to them; they will be deported into exile.	11 Diles también: Yo soy un presagio para ustedes. Lo mismo que yo hice se hará con ellos: serán deportados e irán al exilio.
12 Their prince wil shoulder his pack in the dark and go out through the wal ; a hole will be made to lethim out; he wil cover his face, so that he cannot see the country.	12 El príncipe que está en medio de ellos cargará el equipaje sobre sus espaldas durante la noche, y saldrá por el boquete que abrirán en el muro para hacerlo salir; y él se cubrirá el rostro, para no ver el país.
13 I shal throw my net over him and catch him in my mesh; I shall take him to Babylon, to the land ofthe Chaldaeans, though he wil not see it; and there he wil die.	13 Yo tenderé mi red sobre él y él quedará preso en mi trampa. Lo llevará a Babilonia, la tierra de los caldeos, pero no la verá y morirá allí.
14 And al those in attendance on him, his army and al his troops, I shal scatter to al the winds andunsheathe the sword behind them.	14 Y a todos los que lo rodean, a su guardia y a todas sus tropas, los dispersaré a todos los vientos y desenvainaré la espada detrás de ellos.
15 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them throughout the nations and disperse themin foreign countries.	15 Y cuando los disperse entre las naciones y los disemine por los países, sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
16 But I shall let a few of them escape the sword, famine and plague, to describe al their loathsomepractices to the peoples among whom they wil go, so that these too may know that I am Yahweh." '	16 Pero dejaré que un pequeño número de ellos escapen de la espada, del hambre y de la peste, para que cuenten todas sus abominaciones entre las naciones adonde vayan: así se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
17 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	17 El Señor me dirigió su palabra en estos términos:
18 'Son of man, you are to tremble as you eat your food and shudder apprehensively as you drink yourwater,	18 Hijo de hombre, comerás tu pan con estremecimiento y beberás tu agua con inquietud y ansiedad.
19 and you are to say to the people of the country, "The Lord Yahweh says this to the inhabitants ofJerusalem. They wil shudder apprehensively as they eat their food, and drink their water in fear, so that thecountry and its population may be freed from the violence of its inhabitants.	19 Y dirás a la población del país: Así habla el Señor a los habitantes de Jerusalén que viven en la tierra de Israel: Ustedes comerán su pan con ansiedad y beberán su agua con terror, para que el país quede horrorizado porque está lleno de violencia de todos sus habitantes.
20 When the populous cities have been destroyed and the country has been reduced to desert, then youwil know that I am Yahweh." '	20 Las ciudades habitadas quedarán en ruinas y el país se convertirá en un desierto: así ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
21 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	21 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
22 'Son of man, what do you understand by the saying pronounced over the land of Israel, "Days go byand visions fade"?	22 Hijo de hombre, ¿qué significa ese refrán que se escucha en la tierra de Israel: «Pasan los días y no se cumple ninguna visión»?
23 'Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal put an end to this saying; it will never beused in Israel again." Instead, tel them: "The days are coming when every vision wil come true,	23 Tú diles, en cambio: Así habla el Señor: Yo acabaré con este refrán y no se lo repetirá más en Israel. Diles más bien: Se acercan los días en que toda visión se cumplirá;
24 for there will be no more futile visions or deceptive prophecy in the House of Israel,	24 ya no habrá más visiones ilusorias ni predicciones engañosas en medio de la casa de Israel,
25 since I, Yahweh, shal speak. And what I shal say wil come true without delay; for what I shall say, Ishall perform in your own lifetime, you tribe of rebels -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	25 porque yo, el Señor, diré lo que tenga que decir, y la palabra que pronuncie se cumplirá sin demora. Sí, en vida de ustedes, pueblo rebelde, pronunciaré una palabra y la cumpliré –oráculo del Señor–.
26 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	26 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
27 'Son of man, the House of Israel is now saying, "The vision that this man sees concerns the distantfuture; he is prophesying for times far ahead."	27 Hijo de hombre, el pueblo de Israel dice: «Las visiones que este tiene van para largo; él profetiza para un futuro lejano».
28 Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: There wil be no further delay in the fulfil ing of anyof my words. What I have said shal be done now -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	28 Por eso, diles: Así habla el Señor: En adelante, todas mis palabras se cumplirán sin demora; lo que yo diga se realizará –oráculo del Señor–.
