Ezekiel 12

NEW JERUSALEM	DIODATI
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 LA parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo:
2 'Son of man, you are living among a tribe of rebels who have eyes and never see, they have ears andnever hear, because they are a tribe of rebels.	2 Figliuol d’uomo, tu abiti in mezzo di una casa ribelle, che ha occhi da vedere, e non vede; orecchi da udire, e non ode; perciocchè è una casa ribelle.
3 So, son of man, pack an exile's bundle and set off for exile by daylight while they watch. You will leaveyour home and go somewhere else while they watch. Then perhaps they will see that they are a tribe of rebels.	3 Dunque tu, figliuol d’uomo, fatti degli arnesi d’un uomo che vada in paese strano; mettiti in viaggio di giorno nel lor cospetto; e dipartiti dal tuo luogo, per andare in un altro, nel lor cospetto; forse vi porranno mente; perciocchè sono una casa ribelle.
4 You will pack your baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight, while they watch, and leave like an exilein the evening, while they watch.	4 Metti dunque fuori di giorni, nel lor cospetto, i tuoi arnesi, simili a quelli d’un uomo che vada in paese strano; e poi la sera esci fuori in lor presenza, come altri esce, andando in paese strano.
5 While they watch, make a hole in the wal , and go out through it.	5 Fatti un foro nella parete, nel lor cospetto, e per quello porta fuori que’ tuoi arnesi.
6 While they watch, you wil shoulder your pack and go out into the dark; you wil cover your face so thatyou cannot see the ground, since I have made you an omen for the House of Israel.'	6 Portali in su le spalle, nel lor cospetto; portali fuori in su l’imbrunir della notte; copriti la faccia, che tu non vegga la terra; perciocchè io ti ho posto per segno alla casa d’Israele.
7 I did as I had been told. I packed my baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight; and in the evening Imade a hole through the wall with my hands; then I went out into the dark and shouldered my pack while theywatched.	7 Ed io feci così, come mi era stato comandato; di giorno trassi fuori i miei arnesi, simili a quelli d’un uomo che vada in paese strano; e in su la sera mi feci un foro nella parete con la mano; e in su l’imbrunir della notte trassi fuori quegli arnesi, e li portai in su le spalle, nel lor cospetto.
8 Next morning the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 E la mattina la parola del Signore mi fu indirizzata, dicendo:
9 'Son of man, did not the House of Israel, did not that tribe of rebels, ask you, "What are you doing?"	9 Figliuol d’uomo, la casa d’Israele, quella casa ribelle, non ti ha ella detto: Che cosa fai?
10 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: This prophecy concerns Jerusalem and the whole House of Israelwho live there."	10 Di’ loro: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Questo carico riguarda al principe che è in Gerusalemme, ed a tutta la casa d’Israele, che è in mezzo di essi.
11 Say, "I am an omen for you; as I have done, so wil be done to them; they will be deported into exile.	11 Di’: Io vi sono per segno; siccome io ho fatto, così sarà lor fatto; andranno in paese strano in cattività.
12 Their prince wil shoulder his pack in the dark and go out through the wal ; a hole will be made to lethim out; he wil cover his face, so that he cannot see the country.	12 E il principe, che è in mezzo di loro, porterà i suoi arnesi sopra le spalle, in su l’imbrunir della notte, e se ne uscirà; faranno un foro nel muro per portar fuori per esso i loro arnesi; egli si coprirà la faccia, acciocchè non vegga la terra con gli occhi.
13 I shal throw my net over him and catch him in my mesh; I shall take him to Babylon, to the land ofthe Chaldaeans, though he wil not see it; and there he wil die.	13 Ma io stenderò la mia rete sopra lui, ed egli sarà preso ne’ miei lacci; e lo farò venire in Babilonia, nel paese de’ Caldei; ed egli non la vedrà, e pur vi morrà.
14 And al those in attendance on him, his army and al his troops, I shal scatter to al the winds andunsheathe the sword behind them.	14 Ed io dispergerò a tutti i venti tutti quelli che gli saranno d’intorno, il suo soccorso, e tutte le sue schiere; e sguainerò la spada dietro a loro.
15 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them throughout the nations and disperse themin foreign countries.	15 E conosceranno che io sono il Signore, quando io li avrò dispersi fra le nazioni, e dissipati fra i paesi.
16 But I shall let a few of them escape the sword, famine and plague, to describe al their loathsomepractices to the peoples among whom they wil go, so that these too may know that I am Yahweh." '	16 Ma lascerò d’infra loro alcuni pochi uomini, restati della spada, della fame, e della pestilenza; acciocchè raccontino tutte le loro abbominazioni, fra le nazioni dove perverranno; e conosceranno che io sono il Signore
17 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	17 La parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo:
18 'Son of man, you are to tremble as you eat your food and shudder apprehensively as you drink yourwater,	18 Figliuolo d’uomo, mangia il tuo pane con tremore, e bevi la tua acqua con ispavento, e con ansietà.
19 and you are to say to the people of the country, "The Lord Yahweh says this to the inhabitants ofJerusalem. They wil shudder apprehensively as they eat their food, and drink their water in fear, so that thecountry and its population may be freed from the violence of its inhabitants.	19 E di’ al popolo del paese: Il Signore Iddio ha detto così intorno a quelli che abitano in Gerusalemme, nella terra d’Israele: Mangeranno il lor pane con ansietà, e berranno la loro acqua con ismarrimento; perciocchè il paese d’essa sarà desolato, e spogliato di tutto ciò che vi è, per la violenza di tutti quelli che vi abitano.
20 When the populous cities have been destroyed and the country has been reduced to desert, then youwil know that I am Yahweh." '	20 E le città abitate saranno deserte, e il paese sarà desolato; e voi conoscerete che io sono il Signore
21 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	21 La parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo:
22 'Son of man, what do you understand by the saying pronounced over the land of Israel, "Days go byand visions fade"?	22 Figliuol d’uomo, che proverbio è questo, che voi usate intorno al paese d’Israele, dicendo: I giorni saranno prolungati, ed ogni visione è perita?
23 'Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal put an end to this saying; it will never beused in Israel again." Instead, tel them: "The days are coming when every vision wil come true,	23 Per tanto, di’ loro: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Io farò cessare questo proverbio, e non si userà più in Israele. Anzi di’ loro: I giorni, e la parola d’ogni visione, son vicini.
24 for there will be no more futile visions or deceptive prophecy in the House of Israel,	24 Perciocchè per l’innanzi non vi sarà più visione alcuna di vanità, nè alcuno indovinamento di lusinghe, in mezzo della casa d’Israele.
25 since I, Yahweh, shal speak. And what I shal say wil come true without delay; for what I shall say, Ishall perform in your own lifetime, you tribe of rebels -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	25 Perciocchè, io, il Signore, avendo parlato, la cosa che avrò detta sarà messa ad effetto, non sarà più prolungata; anzi, se a’ dì vostri io pronunzio alcuna parola, o casa ribelle, a’ dì vostri altresì la metterò ad effetto, dice il Signore Iddio.
26 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	26 La parola del Signore mi fu ancora indirizzata, dicendo:
27 'Son of man, the House of Israel is now saying, "The vision that this man sees concerns the distantfuture; he is prophesying for times far ahead."	27 Figliuol d’uomo, ecco, la casa d’Israele dice: La visione, che costui vede, è per lunghi giorni a venire; ed egli profetizza di cose di tempi lontani.
28 Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: There wil be no further delay in the fulfil ing of anyof my words. What I have said shal be done now -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	28 Perciò, di’ loro: Così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Niuna mia parola sarà più prolungata; la parola che io avrò detta, sarà messa ad effetto, dice il Signore Iddio
