1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Parlommi il Signore, dicendo:
2 'Son of man, you are living among a tribe of rebels who have eyes and never see, they have ears andnever hear, because they are a tribe of rebels.	2 Figliuolo dell'uomo, tu abiti in mezzo di una famiglia contumace, che hanno occhi per vedere, e non veggono e orecchie per udire, e non odono; perocché ella è una contumace famiglia.
3 So, son of man, pack an exile's bundle and set off for exile by daylight while they watch. You will leaveyour home and go somewhere else while they watch. Then perhaps they will see that they are a tribe of rebels.	3 Tu adunque, figliuolo dell'uomo, fa bagaglio per cangiare di paese, e tramenerai (il tuo bagaglio) di giorno alla loro presenza, e passerai da dove sei in altro luogo a vista di essi, se a sorte vi badassero, perchè sono una contumace famiglia.
4 You will pack your baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight, while they watch, and leave like an exilein the evening, while they watch.	4 E porterai fuori il tuo bagaglio di giorno sotto i loro occhi, come per cangiar di paese: tu poi partirai alla sera a vista di essi, come uno, che se ne va altrove.
5 While they watch, make a hole in the wal , and go out through it.	5 Sugli occhi loro fa una apertura nella tua muraglia, ed esci per essa.
6 While they watch, you wil shoulder your pack and go out into the dark; you wil cover your face so thatyou cannot see the ground, since I have made you an omen for the House of Israel.'	6 A vista di essi tu sarai portato su gli omeri altrui, sarai menato via al buio: velerai la tua faccia, e non vedrai la terra: perocché io ti ho fatto portento alla casa d'Israele:
7 I did as I had been told. I packed my baggage like an exile's bundle, by daylight; and in the evening Imade a hole through the wall with my hands; then I went out into the dark and shouldered my pack while theywatched.	7 Io feci adunque come avea comandato a me il Signore, portai fuori di giorno il mio bagaglio, come chi vuol cambiar di paese, e la sera feci colla mano un'apertura nel muro, e al buio me n'andai, portato sulle altrui spalle veggenti loro.
8 Next morning the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	8 E il Signore parlommi la mattina, e disse:
9 'Son of man, did not the House of Israel, did not that tribe of rebels, ask you, "What are you doing?"	9 Figliuolo dell'uomo, la famiglia d'Israele, la famiglia contumace non ti ha ella detto: Che è quel, che tu fai?
10 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: This prophecy concerns Jerusalem and the whole House of Israelwho live there."	10 Dì loro: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Questo duro annunzio è pel capo, che sta in Gerusalemme, e per tutta la casa dì Israele, che sta nel suo recinto.
11 Say, "I am an omen for you; as I have done, so wil be done to them; they will be deported into exile.	11 Dì loro: Io son per voi un portento: come ho fatto io, così sarà fatto a loro: cangeran di paese, e saran fatti schiavi.
12 Their prince wil shoulder his pack in the dark and go out through the wal ; a hole will be made to lethim out; he wil cover his face, so that he cannot see the country.	12 Il capo, che è tra di loro, sarà portato sugli omeri altrui, uscirà al buio, romperanno la muraglia per metterlo fuora, la faccia di lui sarà velata, affinché non vegga la terra.
13 I shal throw my net over him and catch him in my mesh; I shall take him to Babylon, to the land ofthe Chaldaeans, though he wil not see it; and there he wil die.	13 E io tenderò a lui la mia rete, ed ei sarà preso nella mia rete; e io lo menerò a Babilonia nella terra de' Caldei, ed ei non la vedrà, ed ivi morrà.
14 And al those in attendance on him, his army and al his troops, I shal scatter to al the winds andunsheathe the sword behind them.	14 E tutti quelli, che stanno intorno a lui, le sue guardie, e le sue squadre, le spergerò a tutti i venti, e dietro ad essi sguainerò la spada.
15 Then they wil know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them throughout the nations and disperse themin foreign countries.	15 E conosceranno, che io sono il Signore, quando gli avrò dispersi tralle genti, e gli avrò seminati per tutte le terre.
16 But I shall let a few of them escape the sword, famine and plague, to describe al their loathsomepractices to the peoples among whom they wil go, so that these too may know that I am Yahweh." '	16 E piccol numero di essi sottrarrò alla spada, alla fame, e alla peste, affinchè raccontino tutte le loro scelleratezze tralle genti, dovunque anderanno, e conosceranno, ch'io sono il Signore.
17 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	17 E il Signore parlommi, e disse:
18 'Son of man, you are to tremble as you eat your food and shudder apprehensively as you drink yourwater,	18 Figliuolo dell'uomo, mangia il tuo pane con affanno, ed anche la tua acqua bevila con prescia, e in tristezza.
19 and you are to say to the people of the country, "The Lord Yahweh says this to the inhabitants ofJerusalem. They wil shudder apprehensively as they eat their food, and drink their water in fear, so that thecountry and its population may be freed from the violence of its inhabitants.	19 E dirai al popolo, che è in questa terra: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio a quei, che abitano in Gerusalemme nella terra d'Israele: Mangeranno il loro pane nel turbamento, e beranno la loro acqua nello smarrimento; perocché la terra rimarrà priva del molto suo popolo per ragion delle iniquità di tutti i suoi abitatori.
20 When the populous cities have been destroyed and the country has been reduced to desert, then youwil know that I am Yahweh." '	20 E le città, che or sono abitate, diverranno una solitudine, e la terra sarà deserta, e conoscerete, ch'io sono il Signore.
21 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	21 E il Signore parlommi, e disse:
22 'Son of man, what do you understand by the saying pronounced over the land of Israel, "Days go byand visions fade"?	22 Figliuolo dell'uomo, che proverbio è quello tra voi nella terra d'Israele, ove dicono: I giorni anderanno in lungo, e di tutte le visioni non sarà altro?
23 'Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I shal put an end to this saying; it will never beused in Israel again." Instead, tel them: "The days are coming when every vision wil come true,	23 Per questo dì tu ad essi: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Torrò di mezzo questo proverbio, e questo non sarà più un dettato in Israele; e tu dirai loro, che sono vicini i giorni, e le cose predette in tutte le visioni;
24 for there will be no more futile visions or deceptive prophecy in the House of Israel,	24 Imperocché non saravvi pell' avvenire visione senza effetto, ne predizione ambigua presso i figliuoli d'Israele;
25 since I, Yahweh, shal speak. And what I shal say wil come true without delay; for what I shall say, Ishall perform in your own lifetime, you tribe of rebels -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	25 Perocché io il Signore parlerò, e tutto quello, che avrò detto, sarà, né anderà più in lungo; ma a vostri dì, o famiglia, contumace, io parlerò, e farò, dice il Signore Dio.
26 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	26 E il Signore parlommi, dicendo:
27 'Son of man, the House of Israel is now saying, "The vision that this man sees concerns the distantfuture; he is prophesying for times far ahead."	27 Figliuolo dell'uomo, ecco la casa d'Israele, che dice: La visione, che questi ha veduta, va alla lunga, ed ei profeta per tempi lontani.
28 Very wel , tell them, "The Lord Yahweh says this: There wil be no further delay in the fulfil ing of anyof my words. What I have said shal be done now -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	28 Per questo di tu ad essi: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Tutte le mie parole pell' avvenire non avran più di azione: la parola, che io avrò detta, sarà adempiuta, dice il Signore Dio.
