1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for eleven years inJerusalem. His mother's name was Hamital daughter of Jeremiah, of Libnah.	1 Седекия был двадцати одного года, когда начал царствовать, и царствовал в Иерусалиме одиннадцать лет; имя матери его--Хамуталь, дочь Иеремии из Ливны.
2 He did what is displeasing to Yahweh, just as Jehoiakim had done.	2 И он делал злое в очах Господа, все то, что делал Иоаким;
3 That this should happen to Jerusalem and Judah was due to Yahweh's anger, resulting in his castingthem away from his presence. Zedekiah rebel ed against the king of Babylon.	3 посему гнев Господа был над Иерусалимом и Иудою до того, что Он отверг их от лица Своего; и Седекия отложился от царя Вавилонского.
4 In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar kingof Babylon advanced on Jerusalem with his entire army; he pitched camp in front of the city and threw upearthworks round it.	4 И было, в девятый год его царствования, в десятый месяц, в десятый день месяца, пришел Навуходоносор, царь Вавилонский, сам и все войско его, к Иерусалиму, и обложили его, и устроили вокруг него насыпи.
5 The city lay under siege till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.	5 И находился город в осаде до одиннадцатого года царя Седекии.
6 In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, when famine was raging in the city and there was nofood for the populace,	6 В четвертом месяце, в девятый день месяца, голод в городе усилился, и не было хлеба у народа земли.
7 a breach was made in the city wal . The king and al the fighting men then fled, leaving the city undercover of dark, by way of the gate between the two wal s, which is near the king's garden -- the Chaldaeans hadsurrounded the city -- and made his way towards the Arabah.	7 Сделан был пролом в город, и побежали все военные, и вышли из города ночью воротами, находящимися между двумя стенами, подле царского сада, и пошли дорогою степи; Халдеи же были вокруг города.
8 The Chaldaean troops pursued the king and caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, where allhis troops deserted.	8 Войско Халдейское погналось за царем, и настигли Седекию на равнинах Иерихонских, и все войско его разбежалось от него.
9 But the Chaldaeans captured the king and took him to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the territory ofHamath, where he passed sentence on him.	9 И взяли царя, и привели его к царю Вавилонскому, в Ривлу, в землю Емаф, где он произнес над ним суд.
10 He had Zedekiah's sons slaughtered before his eyes; he also had all the chief men of Judah put todeath at Riblah.	10 И заколол царь Вавилонский сыновей Седекии пред глазами его, и всех князей Иудейских заколол в Ривле.
11 He then put out Zedekiah's eyes and, loading him with chains, the king of Babylon carried him off toBabylon where he kept him prisoner until his dying day.	11 А Седекии выколол глаза и велел оковать его медными оковами; и отвел его царь Вавилонский в Вавилон и посадил его в дом стражи до дня смерти его.
12 In the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month -- it was in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzarking of Babylon -- Nebuzaradan commander of the guard, a member of the king of Babylon's staff, enteredJerusalem.	12 В пятый месяц, в десятый день месяца, --это был девятнадцатый год царя Навуходоносора, царя Вавилонского, --пришел Навузардан, начальник телохранителей, предстоявший пред царем Вавилонским, в Иерусалим
13 He burnt down the Temple of Yahweh, the royal palace and al the houses in Jerusalem.	13 и сожег дом Господень, и дом царя, и все домы в Иерусалиме, и все домы большие сожег огнем.
14 The Chaldaean troops who accompanied the commander of the guard demolished al the wal ssurrounding Jerusalem.	14 И все войско Халдейское, бывшее с начальником телохранителей, разрушило все стены вокруг Иерусалима.
15 Nebuzaradan commander of the guard deported (some of the poor people and) the remainder of thepopulation left in the city, the deserters who had gone over to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the artisans.	15 Бедных из народа и прочий народ, остававшийся в городе, и переметчиков, которые передались царю Вавилонскому, и вообще остаток простого народа Навузардан, начальник телохранителей, выселил.
16 But Nebuzaradan commander of the guard left some of the poor country-people behind as vineyardworkers and ploughmen.	16 Только несколько из бедного народа земли Навузардан, начальник телохранителей, оставил для виноградников и земледелия.
17 The Chaldaeans broke up the bronze pil ars from the Temple of Yahweh, the wheeled stands and thebronze Sea, which were in the Temple of Yahweh, and took al the bronze away to Babylon.	17 И столбы медные, которые были в доме Господнем, и подставы, и медное море, которое в доме Господнем, изломали Халдеи и отнесли всю медь их в Вавилон.
18 They also took the ash containers, the scoops, the knives, the sprinkling bowls, the incense bowls,and all the bronze furnishings used in worship.	18 И тазы, и лопатки, и ножи, и чаши, и ложки, и все медные сосуды, которые употребляемы были при Богослужении, взяли;
19 The commander of the guard also took the bowls, the censers, the sprinkling bowls, the ashcontainers, the lamp-stands, the goblets and the saucers: everything that was made of gold and everythingmade of silver.	19 и блюда, и щипцы, и чаши, и котлы, и лампады, и фимиамники, и кружки, что было золотое--золотое, и что было серебряное--серебряное, взял начальник телохранителей;
20 As regards the two pil ars, the one Sea, the twelve bronze oxen supporting the Sea, and the wheeledstands, which King Solomon had made for the Temple of Yahweh, there was no reckoning the weight of bronzein all these objects.	20 также два столба, одно море и двенадцать медных волов, которые служили подставами, которые царь Соломон сделал в доме Господнем, --меди во всех этих вещах невозможно было взвесить.
21 As regards the pil ars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, its circumference was twelvecubits, it was four fingers thick, and hol ow inside;	21 Столбы сии были каждый столб в восемнадцать локтей вышины, и шнурок в двенадцать локтей обнимал его, а толщина стенок его внутри пустого, в четыре перста.
22 on it stood a capital of bronze, the height of the capital being five cubits; round the capital were filigreeand pomegranates, al in bronze. So also for the second pil ar.	22 И венец на нем медный, а высота венца пять локтей; и сетка и гранатовые яблоки вокруг были все медные; то же и на другом столбе с гранатовыми яблоками.
23 There were ninety-six pomegranates round the sides, making a hundred pomegranates round thefiligree in al .	23 Гранатовых яблоков было по всем сторонам девяносто шесть; всех яблоков вокруг сетки сто.
24 The commander of the guard took prisoner Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank,and the three guardians of the threshold.	24 Начальник телохранителей взял также Сераию первосвященника и Цефанию, второго священника, и трех сторожей порога.
25 In the city he took prisoner an official who was in command of the fighting men, seven of the king'spersonal friends who were discovered in the city, the secretary to the army commander responsible for militaryconscription, and sixty men of distinction discovered in the city.	25 И из города взял одного евнуха, который был начальником над военными людьми, и семь человек предстоявших лицу царя, которые находились в городе, и главного писца в войске, записывавшего в войско народ земли, и шестьдесят человек из народа страны, найденных в городе.
26 Nebuzaradan commander of the guard took these men and brought them to the king of Babylon atRiblah,	26 И взял их Навузардан, начальник телохранителей, и отвел их к царю Вавилонскому в Ривлу.
27 and at Riblah, in the territory of Hamath, the king of Babylon had them put to death. Thus Judah wasdeported from its country.	27 И поразил их царь Вавилонский и умертвил их в Ривле, в земле Емаф; и выселен был Иуда из земли своей.
28 The number of people deported by Nebuchadnezzar was as fol ows. In the seventh year: threethousand and twenty-three Judaeans;	28 Вот народ, который выселил Навуходоносор: в седьмой год три тысячи двадцать три Иудея;
29 in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, eight hundred and thirty-two persons were deported fromJerusalem;	29 в восемнадцатый год Навуходоносора из Иерусалима [выселено] восемьсот тридцать две души;
30 in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan commander of the guard deported sevenhundred and forty-five Judaeans. 31 But in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on thetwenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year he came to the throne, pardonedJehoiachin king of Judah and released him from prison.	31 В тридцать седьмой год после переселения Иоакима, царя Иудейского, в двенадцатый месяц, в двадцать пятый день месяца, Евильмеродах, царь Вавилонский, в первый год царствования своего, возвысил Иоакима, царя Иудейского, и вывел его из темничного дома.
32 He treated him kindly and allotted him a seat above those of the other kings who were with him inBabylon.	32 И беседовал с ним дружелюбно, и поставил престол его выше престола царей, которые были у него в Вавилоне;
33 So Jehoiachin laid aside his prisoner's garb and for the rest of his life always ate at the king's table.	33 и переменил темничные одежды его, и он всегда у него обедал во все дни жизни своей.
34 And his upkeep was permanently ensured by the king, day after day, for the rest of his life until theday he died.	34 И содержание его, содержание постоянное, выдаваемо было ему от царя изо дня в день до дня смерти его, во все дни жизни его.
