Jeremiah 52

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for eleven years inJerusalem. His mother's name was Hamital daughter of Jeremiah, of Libnah.	1 كان صدقيا ابن احدى وعشرين سنة حين ملك وملك احدى عشرة سنة في اورشليم واسم امه حميطل بنت ارميا من لبنة.
2 He did what is displeasing to Yahweh, just as Jehoiakim had done.	2 وعمل الشر في عيني الرب حسب كل ما عمل يهوياقيم.
3 That this should happen to Jerusalem and Judah was due to Yahweh's anger, resulting in his castingthem away from his presence. Zedekiah rebel ed against the king of Babylon.	3 لانه لاجل غضب الرب على اورشليم ويهوذا حتى طرحهم من امام وجهه كان ان صدقيا تمرد على ملك بابل
4 In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar kingof Babylon advanced on Jerusalem with his entire army; he pitched camp in front of the city and threw upearthworks round it.	4 وفي السنة التاسعة لملكه في الشهر العاشر في عاشر الشهر جاء نبوخذراصر ملك بابل هو وكل جيشه على اورشليم ونزلوا عليها وبنوا عليها ابراجا حواليها.
5 The city lay under siege till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.	5 فدخلت المدينة في الحصار الى السنة الحادية عشرة للملك صدقيا.
6 In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, when famine was raging in the city and there was nofood for the populace,	6 في الشهر الرابع في تاسع الشهر اشتد الجوع في المدينة ولم يكن خبز لشعب الارض.
7 a breach was made in the city wal . The king and al the fighting men then fled, leaving the city undercover of dark, by way of the gate between the two wal s, which is near the king's garden -- the Chaldaeans hadsurrounded the city -- and made his way towards the Arabah.	7 فثغرت المدينة وهرب كل رجال القتال وخرجوا من المدينة ليلا في طريق الباب بين السورين اللذين عند جنة الملك والكلدانيون عند المدينة حواليها فذهبوا في طريق البرية
8 The Chaldaean troops pursued the king and caught up with Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho, where allhis troops deserted.	8 فتبعت جيوش الكلدانيين الملك فادركوا صدقيا في برية اريحا وتفرق كل جيشه عنه.
9 But the Chaldaeans captured the king and took him to the king of Babylon at Riblah in the territory ofHamath, where he passed sentence on him.	9 فأخذوا الملك واصعدوه الى ملك بابل الى ربلة في ارض حماة فكلمه بالقضاء عليه.
10 He had Zedekiah's sons slaughtered before his eyes; he also had all the chief men of Judah put todeath at Riblah.	10 فقتل ملك بابل بني صدقيا امام عينيه وقتل ايضا كل رؤساء يهوذا في ربلة.
11 He then put out Zedekiah's eyes and, loading him with chains, the king of Babylon carried him off toBabylon where he kept him prisoner until his dying day.	11 واعمى عيني صدقيا وقيده بسلسلتين من نحاس وجاء به ملك بابل الى بابل وجعله في السجن الى يوم وفاته
12 In the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month -- it was in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzarking of Babylon -- Nebuzaradan commander of the guard, a member of the king of Babylon's staff, enteredJerusalem.	12 وفي الشهر الخامس في عاشر الشهر وهي السنة التاسعة عشرة للملك نبوخذراصر ملك بابل جاء نبوزرادان رئيس الشرط الذي كان يقف امام ملك بابل الى اورشليم.
13 He burnt down the Temple of Yahweh, the royal palace and al the houses in Jerusalem.	13 واحرق بيت الرب وبيت الملك وكل بيوت اورشليم وكل بيوت العظماء احرقها بالنار
14 The Chaldaean troops who accompanied the commander of the guard demolished al the wal ssurrounding Jerusalem.	14 وكل اسوار اورشليم مستديرا هدمها كل جيش الكلدانيين الذي مع رئيس الشرط.
15 Nebuzaradan commander of the guard deported (some of the poor people and) the remainder of thepopulation left in the city, the deserters who had gone over to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the artisans.	15 وسبى نبوزرادان رئيس الشرط بعضا من فقراء الشعب وبقية الشعب الذين بقوا في المدينة والهاربين الذين سقطوا الى ملك بابل وبقية الجمهور.
16 But Nebuzaradan commander of the guard left some of the poor country-people behind as vineyardworkers and ploughmen.	16 ولكن نبوزرادان رئيس الشرط ابقى من مساكين الارض كرّامين وفلاحين
17 The Chaldaeans broke up the bronze pil ars from the Temple of Yahweh, the wheeled stands and thebronze Sea, which were in the Temple of Yahweh, and took al the bronze away to Babylon.	17 وكسر الكلدانيون اعمدة النحاس التي لبيت الرب والقواعد وبحر النحاس الذي في بيت الرب وحملوا كل نحاسها الى بابل.
18 They also took the ash containers, the scoops, the knives, the sprinkling bowls, the incense bowls,and all the bronze furnishings used in worship.	18 وأخذوا القدور والرفوش والمقاص والمناضح والصحون وكل آنية النحاس التي كانوا يخدمون بها.
19 The commander of the guard also took the bowls, the censers, the sprinkling bowls, the ashcontainers, the lamp-stands, the goblets and the saucers: everything that was made of gold and everythingmade of silver.	19 واخذ رئيس الشرط الطسوس والمجامر والمناضح والقدور والمناير والصحون والاقداح ما كان من ذهب فالذهب وما كان من فضة فالفضة.
20 As regards the two pil ars, the one Sea, the twelve bronze oxen supporting the Sea, and the wheeledstands, which King Solomon had made for the Temple of Yahweh, there was no reckoning the weight of bronzein all these objects.	20 والعمودين والبحر الواحد والاثني عشر ثورا من نحاس التي تحت القواعد التي عملها الملك سليمان لبيت الرب. لم يكن وزن لنحاس كل هذه الادوات.
21 As regards the pil ars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, its circumference was twelvecubits, it was four fingers thick, and hol ow inside;	21 اما العمودان فكان طول العمود الواحد ثماني عشرة ذراعا وخيط اثنتا عشرة ذراعا يحيط به وغلظه اربع اصابع وهو اجوف.
22 on it stood a capital of bronze, the height of the capital being five cubits; round the capital were filigreeand pomegranates, al in bronze. So also for the second pil ar.	22 وعليه تاج من نحاس ارتفاع التاج الواحد خمس اذرع وعلى التاج حواليه شبكة ورمانات الكل من نحاس. ومثل ذلك للعمود الثاني والرمانات
23 There were ninety-six pomegranates round the sides, making a hundred pomegranates round thefiligree in al .	23 وكانت الرمانات ستا وتسعين للجانب. كل الرمانات مئة على الشبكة حواليها
24 The commander of the guard took prisoner Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank,and the three guardians of the threshold.	24 واخذ رئيس الشرط سرايا الكاهن الاول وصفنيا الكاهن الثاني وحارسي الباب الثلاثة
25 In the city he took prisoner an official who was in command of the fighting men, seven of the king'spersonal friends who were discovered in the city, the secretary to the army commander responsible for militaryconscription, and sixty men of distinction discovered in the city.	25 واخذ من المدينة خصيا واحدا كان وكيلا على رجال الحرب وسبعة رجال من الذين ينظرون وجه الملك الذين وجدوا في المدينة وكاتب رئيس الجند الذي كان يجمع شعب الارض للتجند وستين رجلا من شعب الارض الذين وجدوا في وسط المدينة
26 Nebuzaradan commander of the guard took these men and brought them to the king of Babylon atRiblah,	26 اخذهم نبوزرادان رئيس الشرط وسار بهم الى ملك بابل الى ربلة.
27 and at Riblah, in the territory of Hamath, the king of Babylon had them put to death. Thus Judah wasdeported from its country.	27 فضربهم ملك بابل وقتلهم في ربلة في ارض حماة فسبي يهوذا من ارضه.
28 The number of people deported by Nebuchadnezzar was as fol ows. In the seventh year: threethousand and twenty-three Judaeans;	28 هذا هو الشعب الذي سباه نبوخذراصر في السنة السابعة. من اليهود ثلاثة آلاف وثلاثة وعشرون.
29 in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar, eight hundred and thirty-two persons were deported fromJerusalem;	29 وفي السنة الثامنة عشرة لنبوخذراصر سبى من اورشليم ثمان مئة واثنتان وثلاثون نفسا.
30 in the twenty-third year of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuzaradan commander of the guard deported sevenhundred and forty-five Judaeans. In al : four thousand six hundred persons.	30 في السنة الثالثة والعشرين لنبوخذراصر سبى نبوزرادان رئيس الشرط من اليهود سبع مئة وخمسا واربعين نفسا. جملة النفوس اربعة آلاف وست مئة
31 But in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on thetwenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-Merodach king of Babylon, in the year he came to the throne, pardonedJehoiachin king of Judah and released him from prison.	31 وفي السنة السابعة والثلاثين لسبي يهوياكين في الشهر الثاني عشر في الخامس والعشرين من الشهر رفع اويل مرودخ ملك بابل في سنة تملكه راس يهوياكين ملك يهوذا وأخرجه من السجن
32 He treated him kindly and allotted him a seat above those of the other kings who were with him inBabylon.	32 وكلمه بخير وجعل كرسيه فوق كراسي الملوك الذين معه في بابل.
33 So Jehoiachin laid aside his prisoner's garb and for the rest of his life always ate at the king's table.	33 وغيّر ثياب سجنه وكان يأكل دائما الخبز امامه كل ايام حياته.
34 And his upkeep was permanently ensured by the king, day after day, for the rest of his life until theday he died.	34 ووظيفته وظيفة دائمة تعطى له من عند ملك بابل امر كل يوم بيومه الى يوم وفاته كل ايام حياته
