Jeremiah 33

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 Jeremiah was stil confined to the Court of the Guard when the word of Yahweh came to him a secondtime, as follows,	1 - E il Signore comunicò una seconda volta la sua parola a Geremia mentre stava ancora chiuso nel cortile del carcere dicendogli:
2 'Yahweh who made the earth, who formed it and set it firm -- Yahweh is his name -- says this,	2 «Questo dice il Signore, colui che sta per effettuarlo, eseguirlo e compierlo, il cui nome è il Signore.
3 "Call to me and I wil answer you; I wil tell you great secrets of which you know nothing.	3 Chiamami ed io ti esaudirò e ti manifesterò le cose grandi e irremovibili che tu non conosci.
4 For this is what Yahweh, God of Israel, says about the houses of this city and the palaces of the kingsof Judah which are about to be destroyed by means of the earthworks and the sword;	4 Perchè, così dice il Signore Dio di Israele alle case di questa città e alle case del re di Giuda che sono demolite, e agli ordigni e alla spada
5 about those now fighting the Chaldaeans, only to fill the city with corpses, those whom I haveslaughtered in my furious anger, those whose wickedness has made me hide my face from this city:	5 di coloro che vengono per combattere coi Caldei e per riempirle di cadaveri umani ch'io ho colpiti nel mio furore e nella mia indignazione, col nascondere la mia faccia a questa città per tutta la loro malvagità.
6 Look, I shal bring them remedy and cure; I shal cure them and reveal a new order of peace and loyaltyto them.	6 Ecco che io prenderò cura delle sue ferite e della sua guarigione e li guarirò e farò loro manifesta la impetrazione della pace e il suo avveramento.
7 I shal bring back the captives of Judah and the captives of Israel and shal rebuild them as before.	7 E ritornerò la schiavitù di Giuda e la schiavitù di Gerusalemme alla libertà, e li ristabilirò come da principio.
8 I shal cleanse them of al their guilt, by which they have offended me, I shal forgive al their guiltyactions, by which they have offended me and rebelled against me.	8 E li monderò da ogni iniquità da loro commessa contro di me, e farò remissione di tutte le loro colpe colle quali mi avevano offeso e disprezzato.
9 And, for me, Jerusalem wil become a name of joy and praise and pride for all the nations on earth tosee; when they hear of al the prosperity that I shal give, they wil be seized with fear and trembling at al theprosperity and the peace that I provide for it."	9 E ciò sarà per me rinomanza e godimento e lode ed esultanza in tutte le genti della terra che avranno udito tutto il bene che io sono per fare a loro, e resteranno sorpresi e sbalorditi per tutto il bene e per tutta la pace che a loro concederò.
10 'Yahweh says this, "In this place of which you now say: It is a ruin, without human or animal, in thetowns of Judah and desolate streets of Jerusalem where there is neither human nor animal, once more wil beheard	10 Così dice il Signore: - Si udiranno ancora in questo luogo, che voi dite essere deserto, perchè non vi sono più nè uomini nè animali; nelle città di Giuda, fuori di Gerusalemme, che sono in desolazione senza uomini, senza abitanti, senza bestiami; si udiranno ancora
11 shouts of rejoicing and mirth, the voices of bridegroom and bride, and the singing of those who bringthanksgiving sacrifices to the Temple of Yahweh: Give thanks to Yahweh Sabaoth, for Yahweh is good, for hisfaithful love is everlasting. For I shal bring back the country's captives, as before, Yahweh says."	11 voci giulive, voci festose, voci di sposi e di spose, voci di genti che dicono: "Lodate il Signore degli eserciti, perchè il Signore è buono, perchè in eterno è la sua misericordia!", e che recano i loro voti nella casa del Signore; perchè ritornerò la schiavitù di questa terra alla libertà primiera - dice il Signore.
12 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this, "In this ruinous place, without human or animal, in al its towns, onceagain there wil be pastures for the shepherds to rest their flocks.	12 Così dice il Signore degli eserciti: - Vi saranno ancora in questo luogo deserto, privo di uomini e di animali, e per tutte le sue città una dimora per i pastori ove faranno sdraiare i greggi.
13 In the towns of the highlands, of the lowlands and the Negeb, in the territory of Benjamin, in thedistricts round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, once again the flocks shal pass under the hand ofsomeone who counts them, Yahweh says.	13 Nelle città della montagna, nelle città della pianura, nelle città che sono nel mezzogiorno e nella terra di Beniamino e nei dintorni di Gerusalemme e nelle città di Giuda passeranno ancora le greggi sotto la mano di colui che le conta, dice il Signore.
14 "Look, the days are coming, Yahweh declares, when I shal fulfil the promise of happiness I made tothe House of Israel and the House of Judah:	14 Ecco che i giorni vengono, dice il Signore, e adempirò la parola buona che ho detto alla casa d'Israele e alla casa di Giuda.
15 In those days and at that time, I shal make an upright Branch grow for David, who wil do what is just and upright in the country.	15 In quei giorni e in quel tempo farò germogliare a David un germe di giustizia e metterà in vigore il giudizio e la giustizia sulla terra.
16 In those days Judah will triumph and Israel live in safety. And this is the name the city will be cal ed:Yahweh-is-our-Saving-Justice."	16 In quei giorni Giuda sarà salvato e Gerusalemme abiterà in tutta sicurezza e questo sarà il nome con cui lo chiameranno: "Il Signore giusto nostro". -
17 'For Yahweh says this, "David wil never lack a male descendant to occupy the throne of the House ofIsrael,	17 Perchè così dice il Signore: - Non verrà a mancare, dalla stirpe di David, uomo che segga sul trono della casa di Israele,
18 nor will the levitical priests ever lack male descendants to stand before me and offer the burntoffering, to burn the cereal offering and offer sacrifice every day." '	18 e dalla stirpe dei sacerdoti e dei leviti non verranno a mancare uomini nel mio cospetto che offrano olocausti e ardano sacrifizi e scannino vittime tutti i giorni -».
19 The word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah as fol ows,	19 E il Signore comunicò la sua parola a Geremia dicendo:
20 'Yahweh says this, "If you could break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night sothat day and night do not come at their due time,	20 «Così dice il Signore: - Se potrà andar fallito il patto mio col giorno e il patto mio colla notte in guisa che a suo tempo non sia più giorno, non più notte a suo tempo,
21 then my covenant with David my servant might also be broken and he would have no son to reign onhis throne, and so also might my covenant with the levitical priests, who are my ministers.	21 potrà andar anche fallito il patto mio con David mio servo in guisa che non sia da lui più figlio che regni sul suo trono, non più leviti, non sacerdoti ministri miei.
22 As surely as the array of heaven cannot be counted, nor the sand of the sea be measured, so surelyshall I increase the heirs of David my servant and the Levites who minister to me." '	22 Come le stelle del cielo che non si possono numerare e le arene del mare che non si possono calcolare, così moltiplicherò in numero il seme di David mio servo e i leviti miei ministri -».
23 The word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah as fol ows,	23 E il Signore comunicò la sua parola a Geremia dicendogli:
24 'Have you not noticed what these people say, "The two families which Yahweh chose he has nowrejected"? So they despise my people, whom they no longer think of as a nation.	24 «Hai visto questo popolo che cosa è andato a dire? - Le due famiglie, dice, che il Signore aveva elette sono state rigettate! - Hanno deprezzato il popolo mio al punto che non merita più, a loro avviso, l'onor di nazione.
25 Yahweh says this, "If I have not created day and night and fixed the laws governing heaven and earth,	25 Ebbene, così dice il Signore: - Se il patto col giorno e colla notte, se le leggi al cielo e alla terra io non ho fissate,
26 why, then I shal reject the descendants of Jacob and of David my servant and cease to choose rulersfrom his descendants for the heirs of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! For I shal bring back their captives and takepity on them." '	26 allora anche il seme di Giacobbe e di David mio servo rigetterò senza prendere dalla sua discendenza principi del seme di Abramo, Isacco e Giacobbe; poichè ritornerò la loro schiavitù in libertà e avrò pietà di essi -».
