NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 ' "This is the ritual for the sacrifice of reparation: "It is especially holy.	1 Este es el ritual del sacrificio de reparación: La víctima de este sacrificio es una cosa santísima.
2 The victim must be slaughtered where the burnt offerings are slaughtered, and the priest wil pour theblood al around the altar.	2 Será inmolada en el lugar donde se inmolan los holocaustos, y se rociará con su sangre todos los costados del altar.
3 He wil then offer al the fat: the tail, the fat covering the entrails,	3 Se ofrecerá toda la grasa de la víctima: la cola y la grasa que recubre las entrañas;
4 both kidneys, the fat on them and on the loins, the mass of fat which he wil remove from the liver andkidneys.	4 los dos riñones y la grasa que está sobre ellos –o sea, en los lomos– y la protuberancia del hígado, que será arrancada junto con los riñones.
5 The priest will burn these pieces on the altar as food burnt for Yahweh. This is a sacrifice of reparation.	5 El sacerdote hará arder todo esto sobre el altar, como una ofrenda que se quema para el Señor. Es un sacrificio de reparación.
6 Every male who is a priest may eat it. It wil be eaten inside the holy place; it is especially holy.	6 Sólo podrán comer de ella los varones de la familia sacerdotal, y tendrá que ser comida en el recinto sagrado: es una cosa santísima.
7 "As with the sacrifice for sin, so with the sacrifice of reparation -- the ritual is the same for both. Theoffering with which the priest performs the rite of expiation will revert to the priest.	7 La misma regla se aplica tanto para el sacrificio de reparación como para el sacrificio por el pecado: la víctima pertenecerá al sacerdote que practica con ella el rito de expiación.
8 The hide of the victim presented by someone to the priest to be offered as a burnt offering wil revert tothe priest.	8 Del mismo modo, el sacerdote que ofrece el holocausto en nombre de alguna persona, se quedará con el cuero de la víctima que ofreció.
9 Every cereal offering baked in the oven, every cereal offering cooked in the pan or on the griddle wilrevert to the priest who offers it.	9 Además, toda ofrenda cocida al horno o preparada a la cacerola o a la sartén, será para el sacerdote que la ofrece.
10 Every cereal offering, mixed with oil or dry, wil revert to all the descendants of Aaron withoutdistinction.	10 Pero cualquier otra oblación, ya sea mezclada con aceite o seca, se repartirá entre los hijos de Aarón, en partes iguales.
11 "This is the ritual for the communion sacrifice to be offered to Yahweh:	11 Este es el ritual del sacrificio de comunión que se ofrece al Señor.
12 "If this is offered as a sacrifice with praise, to the latter must be added an offering of unleavened cakesmixed with oil, unleavened wafers spread with oil, and wheaten flour in the form of cakes mixed with oil.	12 Si la persona lo ofrece en acción de gracias, junto con ese sacrificio, deberá presentar unas roscas sin levadura mezcladas con aceite, y harina de la mejor calidad bien embebida en aceite.
13 This offering, then, must be added to the cakes of leavened bread and to the communion sacrifice withpraise.	13 Presentará esta ofrenda junto con el sacrificio de comunión que se ofrece en acción de gracias, añadiendo además unas tortas de masa fermentada.
14 One of the cakes of this offering must be presented as an offering to Yahweh; it will revert to the priestwho pours out the blood of the communion sacrifice.	14 Se reservará una unidad de cada clase como ofrenda destinada al Señor, la cual corresponderá al sacerdote que haya derramado la sangre del sacrificio de comunión.
15 The meat of the victim wil be eaten on the day the offering is made; nothing may be left until nextmorning.	15 La carne del sacrificio de acción de gracias deberá ser comida el mismo día en que se ofrece el sacrificio, sin dejar nada para el día siguiente.
16 "If the victim is offered as a votive or a voluntary sacrifice, it must be eaten on the day it is offered, and the remainder may be eaten on the fol owing day;	16 En cambio, si el sacrificio se ofrece en cumplimiento de un voto o espontáneamente, la víctima deberá ser comida el mismo día en que se ofrezca el sacrificio, pero lo que sobre se podrá comer al día siguiente.
17 but on the third day whatever is left of the meat of the victim must be burnt.	17 Si todavía queda algún resto de carne, será quemado al tercer día.
18 "If any of the meat of a victim offered as a communion sacrifice is eaten on the third day, the personwho has offered it wil not be acceptable and wil receive no credit for it. It wil count as rotten meat, and theperson who eats it wil bear the consequences of the guilt.	18 Y si alguien come al tercer día carne de su sacrificio de comunión, la víctima no será aceptada: no le será aceptada al que la ofrece, porque se ha convertido en algo nocivo; y la persona que coma esa carne cargará con su culpa.
19 "Meat that has touched anything unclean cannot be eaten; it must be burnt. "Anyone clean may eat themeat,	19 No se podrá comer la carne que haya tocado algo impuro, sino que deberá ser consumidas por el fuego. Solamente una persona pura podrá comer la carne de ese sacrificio.
20 but anyone unclean who eats the meat of a communion sacrifice offered to Yahweh wil be outlawedfrom his people.	20 Si alguien come en estado de impureza la carne del sacrificio de comunión ofrecido al Señor, será excluido de su pueblo.
21 Furthermore, if anyone touches anything unclean, human or animal, or any foul thing, and then eatsthe meat of a communion sacrifice offered to Yahweh, that individual wil be outlawed from his people." '	21 Si una persona toca algo impuro –ya sea un hombre que se encuentra en estado de impureza o un animal impuro o cualquier otra cosa impura– y a pesar de ello, come carne de un sacrificio de comunión ofrecido al Señor, será excluida de su pueblo.
22 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	22 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés:
23 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "You may not eat the fat of ox, sheep or goat.	23 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: Ustedes no comerán grasa de buey, ni de cordero, ni de cabra.
24 The fat of an animal that has died a natural death or been savaged by beasts may be used for anyother purpose, but you are not to eat it.	24 La grasa de un animal muerto o despedazado por las fieras podrá servir para cualquier uso, pero no deberán comerla.
25 Anyone who eats the fat of an animal offered as food burnt for Yahweh wil be outlawed from hispeople.	25 Porque cualquiera que coma la grasa de los animales que pueden ser ofrecidos en sacrificio al Señor, será excluido de su pueblo.
26 "Wherever you live, you wil never eat blood, whether it be of bird or of beast.	26 Tampoco comerán la sangre de ningún pájaro o de cualquier otro animal, cualquiera sea el lugar donde ustedes vivan.
27 Anyone who eats any blood wil be outlawed from his people." '	27 El que coma la sangre será excluido de su pueblo.
28 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	28 Luego el Señor dijo a Moisés:
29 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "Anyone who offers Yahweh a communion sacrifice must bring himpart of his sacrifice as an offering.	29 Habla en estos términos a los israelitas: El que ofrezca al Señor un sacrificio de comunión, le presentará una parte de la víctima sacrificada en calidad de ofrenda.
30 He must bring the food to be burnt for Yahweh, that is to say, the fat adhering to the forequarters, withhis own hands. He wil bring it, and also the forequarters, with which he wil make the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	30 Presentará con sus propias manos la ofrenda que se quema para el Señor, y ofrecerá la grasa del animal, junto con el pecho, para realizar con este último el gesto de presentación al Señor.
31 The priest wil then burn the fat on the altar, and the forequarters wil revert to Aaron and hisdescendants.	31 Luego el sacerdote hará arder la grasa sobre el altar, y el pecho será para Aarón y sus hijos.
32 You will set aside the right thigh from your communion sacrifice and give it to the priest.	32 Además, ustedes deberán entregar, como ofrenda reservada al sacerdote, la pata derecha de la víctima ofrecida en sacrificio de comunión.
33 The right thigh will be the portion of the descendant of Aaron who offers the blood and fat of thecommunion sacrifice.	33 Esa pata es la porción que recibirá el hijo de Aarón que ofrezca la sangre y la grasa del sacrificio de comunión.
34 For I have deprived the Israelites of the forequarter offered and the thigh presented in their communionsacrifices, and given them to the priest Aaron and his descendants; this is a perpetual law for the Israelites." '	34 Porque yo retengo ese pecho y esa pata de los sacrificios de comunión ofrecidos por los israelitas, y se los entrego al sacerdote Aarón y a sus hijos: es un derecho válido para siempre en Israel.
35 Such was the portion of Aaron and his descendants in the food burnt for Yahweh, the day hepresented them to Yahweh for them to become his priests.	35 Esta es la parte que corresponde a Aarón y a sus hijos, de las ofrendas que queman para el Señor, desde que fueron investidos para servir al Señor como sacerdotes;
36 This was what Yahweh ordered the Israelites to give them on the day they were anointed: a perpetuallaw for al their descendants.	36 esto es lo que el Señor mandó que se les diera, desde el momento en que fueron ungidos, como un derecho que ellos tendrán siempre sobre los israelitas, a lo largo de las generaciones.
37 Such was the ritual for burnt offering, cereal offering, sacrifice for sin, sacrifice of reparation, investituresacrifice and communion sacrifice,	37 Este es el ritual del holocausto, de la oblación, del sacrificio por el pecado, del sacrificio de reparación, del sacrificio de la consagración y del sacrificio de comunión,
38 which Yahweh laid down for Moses on Mount Sinai, the day he ordered the Israelites to make theirofferings to Yahweh in the desert of Sinai.	38 que el Señor prescribió a Moisés en la montaña del Sinaí, cuando ordenó que los israelitas presentaran sus ofrendas al Señor, en el desierto del Sinaí.
