Isaiah 62

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 About Zion I wil not be silent, about Jerusalem I shal not rest until saving justice dawns for her like abright light and her salvation like a blazing torch.	1 - Per Sion non starò zitto, e per Gerusalemme non starò cheto; fin tanto che esca come la luce il suo giusto, e il suo salvatore brilli come fiaccola.
2 The nations wil then see your saving justice, and all kings your glory, and you wil be cal ed a newname which Yahweh's mouth wil reveal.	2 E le genti vedranno il tuo giusto e tutti i re il tuo inclito; e a te sarà imposto un nome nuovo che la bocca del Signore designerà.
3 You will be a crown of splendour in Yahweh's hand, a princely diadem in the hand of your God.	3 E sarai una corona di gloria in mano del Signore, e un diadema reale in mano del tuo Dio.
4 No more wil you be known as 'Forsaken' or your country be known as 'Desolation'; instead, you wil becal ed 'My Delight is in her' and your country 'The Wedded'; for Yahweh wil take delight in you and your countrywil have its wedding.	4 Non ti diranno più: "Abbandonata" e la tua terra non sarà più detta: "Desolata" ma sarà chiamata: "La compiacenza mia in lei" e la tua terra: "Abitata" perchè il Signore in te si è compiaciuto e la tua terra sarà abitata.
5 Like a young man marrying a virgin, your rebuilder will wed you, and as the bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so wil your God rejoice in you.	5 Sì, il giovane abiterà colla sua giovane sposa e abiteranno in te i tuoi figli: lo sposo troverà le sue delizie nella sposa, e il tuo Dio troverà le sue delizie in te.
6 On your wal s, Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen; they will never fal silent, day or night. No peace foryou, as you keep Yahweh's attention!	6 Sulle tue mura, o Gerusalemme, ho collocato i tuoi custodi, giorno e notte non taceranno mai. Voi, che siete rammentatori del Signore non vogliate tacere!
7 And give him no peace either until he restores Jerusalem and makes her the pride of the world!	7 Non dategli requie, sino a tanto che ristabilisca Gerusalemme finchè la renda celebre sulla terra.
8 Yahweh has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: Never again shall I give your grain to feedyour enemies. Never again will foreigners drink the wine for which you have toiled.	8 Il Signore l'ha giurato per la sua destra e pel suo potente braccio. Io non darò più il tuo grano in cibo ai tuoi nemici, e gli stranieri non berranno mai più il vino per cui ti affaticasti.
9 No, the reapers wil eat it and praise Yahweh, the harvesters will drink it in my sacred courts!	9 Ma quelli che lo raccolgono lo mangeranno e benediranno il Signore e quei che vendemmiano berranno negli atrii miei santi.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates. Clear a way for my people! Level up, level up the highway,remove the stones! Hoist a signal to the peoples!	10 Varcate, varcate le porte, aprite la via al popolo, spianate il cammino; togliete le pietre e alzate il vessillo ai popoli.
11 This is what Yahweh has proclaimed to the remotest part of earth: Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Look,your salvation is coming; with him comes his reward, his achievement precedes him!'	11 Ecco che il Signore l'ha fatto udire fino all'estremità della terra; dite alla figlia di Sion: «Ecco che il tuo salvatore viene, ecco egli ha con sè la sua ricompensa, e il premio dell'opera sua gli sta dinanzi.
12 They will be cal ed 'The Holy People', 'Yahweh's Redeemed', while you will be cal ed 'Sought-after','City-not-forsaken'.	12 E li chiameranno "Popolo santo", "Redenti dal Signore". E tu sarai chiamata: "Città ricercata e non abbandonata"».
