NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Love uprightness you who are rulers on earth, be properly disposed towards the Lord and seek him insimplicity of heart;	1 Amad la justicia, los que juzgáis la tierra, pensad rectamente del Señor y con sencillez de corazón buscadle.
2 for he wil be found by those who do not put him to the test, revealing himself to those who do notmistrust him.	2 Porque se deja hallar de los que no le tientan, se manifesta a los que no desconfían de él.
3 Perverse thoughts, however, separate people from God, and power, when put to the test, confounds thestupid.	3 Pues los pensamientos tortuosos apartan de Dios y el Poder, puesto a prueba, rechaza a los insensatos.
4 Wisdom wil never enter the soul of a wrong-doer, nor dwell in a body enslaved to sin;	4 En efecto, en alma fraudulenta no entra la Sabiduría, no habita en cuerpo sometido al pecado;
5 for the holy spirit of instruction flees deceitfulness, recoils from unintel igent thoughts, is thwarted by theonset of vice.	5 pues el espíritu santo que nos educa huye del engaño, se aleja de los pensamientos necios y se ve rechazado al sobrevenir la iniquidad.
6 Wisdom is a spirit friendly to humanity, though she will not let a blasphemer's words go unpunished;since God observes the very soul and accurately surveys the heart, listening to every word.	6 La Sabiduría es un espíritu que ama al hombre, pero no deja sin castigo los labios del blasfemo; que Dios es testigo de sus riñones, observador veraz de su corazón y oye cuanto dice su lengua.
7 For the spirit of the Lord fil s the world, and that which holds everything together knows every word said.	7 Porque el espíritu del Señor llena la tierra y él, que todo lo mantiene unido, tiene conocimiento de toda palabra.
8 No one who speaks what is wrong will go undetected, nor will avenging Justice pass by such a one.	8 Nadie, pues, que profiera iniquidades quedará oculto, ni le pasará por alto la Justicia vengadora.
9 For the schemes of the godless wil be examined, and a report of his words wil reach the Lord toconvict him of his crimes.	9 Las deliberaciones del impío serán examinadas; el eco de sus palabras llegará hasta el Señor para castigo de sus maldades.
10 There is a jealous ear that overhears everything, not even a murmur of complaint escapes it.	10 Un oído celoso lo escucha todo, no se le oculta ni el rumor de la murmuración.
11 So beware of uttering frivolous complaints, restrain your tongue from finding fault; even what is said insecret has repercussions, and a lying mouth deals death to the soul.	11 Guardaos, pues, de murmuraciones inútiles, preservad vuestra lengua de la maledicencia; que la palabra más secreta no se pronuncia en vano, y la boca mentirosa da muerte al alma.
12 Do not court death by the errors of your ways, nor invite destruction through the work of your hands.	12 No os busquéis la muerte con los extravíos de vuestra, vida, no os atraigáis la ruina con las obras de vuestras manos;
13 For God did not make Death, he takes no pleasure in destroying the living.	13 que no fue Dios quien hizo la muerte ni se recrea en la destrucción de los vivientes;
14 To exist -- for this he created all things; the creatures of the world have health in them, in them is nofatal poison, and Hades has no power over the world:	14 él todo lo creó para que subsistiera, las criaturas del mundo non saludables, no hay en ellas veneno de muerte ni imperio del Hades sobre la tierra,
15 for uprightness is immortal.	15 porque la justicia es inmortal.
16 But the godless cal for Death with deed and word, counting him friend, they wear themselves out forhim; with him they make a pact, worthy as they are to belong to him.	16 Pero los impíos con las manos y las palabras llaman a la muerte; teniéndola por amiga, se desviven por ella, y con ella conciertan un pacto, pues bien merecen que les tenga por suyos.
