2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, give you support from Zion!	2 Signore, della tua potenza si rallegra il re, e per il tuo soccorso salutare grandemente esulta.
3 May he remember al your sacrifices and delight in your burnt offerings! Pause	3 La brama del suo cuore gli hai largito, e il voto delle sue labbra non gli hai ricusato.
4 May he grant you your heart's desire and crown al your plans with success!	4 Gli ti facesti incontro con benedizioni soavi, hai messo sul suo capo una corona di pietra preziosa.
5 So that with joy we can hail your victory and draw up our ranks in the name of our God. May Yahwehgrant all your petitions.	5 Vita ti chiedeva e tu gliel'hai concessa, diuturnità di giorni per i secoli e in eterno.
6 Now I know that Yahweh gives victory to his anointed. He wil respond from his holy heavens withgreat deeds of victory from his right hand.	6 Grande è la sua gloria per il tuo soccorso salutare, di gloria e magnificenza tu l'hai ammantato.
7 Some cal on chariots, some on horses, but we on the name of Yahweh our God.	7 Benedetto l'hai reso ne' secoli, lo colmi di gaudio al tuo cospetto.
8 They wil crumple and fall, while we stand upright and firm.	8 Perché il re spera nel Signore, e per bontà dell'altissimo non vacillerà!
9 Yahweh, save the king, answer us when we cal .	9 Cadan sotto la tua mano, [o re], tutti i tuoi nemici; la tua destra raggiunga tutti quei che t'odiano!
	10 Li ridurrai come in una fornace di fuoco, allorché mostrerai la tua faccia. Il Signore nel suo sdegno li sbaraglierà, e il fuoco li divorerà.
	11 La loro schiatta farai scomparir dalla terrae la loro semenza di tra i figli degli uomini.
	12 Poichè tramaron contro di te sciagure, macchinaron propositi, che non potranno effettuare.
	13 Giacchè tu farai loro volger le spalle, [quando] con le tue frecce mirerai alla lor faccia.
	14 Levati, o Signore, nella tua potenza! Canteremo e inneggeremo alle tue forti geste.
