1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
2 "Take Aaron and his sons, together with the vestments, the anointing oil, the bullock for a sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened food.	2 «Prendi Aronne, i suoi figli, le vesti, l’olio dell’unzione, il giovenco per il sacrificio espiatorio, i due montoni, il canestro degli azzimi
3 Then assemble the whole community at the entrance of the meeting tent."	3 e convoca tutta la comunità davanti all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno».
4 And Moses did as the LORD had commanded. When the community had assembled at the entrance of the meeting tent,	4 Mosè fece come Jahvè gli aveva ordinato: fu convocata la comunità all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno.
5 Moses told them what the LORD had ordered to be done.	5 Allora Mosè disse alla comunità: «Questo è quanto Jahvè ha ordinato di fare».
6 Bringing forward Aaron and his sons, he first washed them with water.	6 Mosè fece avvicinare Aronne e i suoi figli e li lavò nell’acqua.
7 Then he put the tunic on Aaron, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, placed the ephod on him, and girded him with the embroidered belt of the ephod, fastening it around him.	7 Pose su di lui la tunica, gli cinse i fianchi con la fascia, lo vestì del manto, vi pose sopra l’efod e lo cinse della sciarpa dell’efod con il quale lo abbigliò.
8 He then set the breastpiece on him, with the Urim and Thummim in it,	8 Mise su di lui il pettorale e sopra il pettorale pose gli Urim e i Tummim;
9 and put the miter on his head, attaching the gold plate, the sacred diadem, over the front of the miter, at his forehead, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	9 sulla testa pose il turbante e sulla fronte, sopra il turbante, pose il diadema d’oro, corona sacra ordinata da Jahvè a Mosè.
10 Taking the anointing oil, Moses anointed and consecrated the Dwelling, with all that was in it.	10 Preso l’olio dell’unzione, Mosè unse la Dimora e quanto era in essa e così li consacrò;
11 Then he sprinkled some of this oil seven times on the altar, and anointed the altar, with all its appurtenances, and the laver, with its base, thus consecrating them.	11 con esso asperse sette volte l’altare e unse, per consacrarli, l’altare con tutte le suppellettili, la conca e la sua base;
12 He also poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, thus consecrating him.	12 versò olio dell’unzione sulla testa di Aronne e lo unse per consacrarlo.
13 Moses likewise brought forward Aaron's sons, clothed them with tunics, girded them with sashes, and put turbans on them, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	13 Mosè fece poi avvicinare i figli di Aronne e li vestì delle tuniche, li cinse ai fianchi con la fascia, avvolse loro la testa in fasce secondo quello che Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
14 When he had brought forward the bullock for a sin offering, Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	14 Fece poi avvicinare il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio: Aronne e i suoi figli posero le mani sulla testa del giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio
15 Then Moses slaughtered it, and taking some of its blood, with his finger he put it on the horns around the altar, thus purifying the altar. He also made atonement for the altar by pouring out the blood at its base when he consecrated it.	15 e Mosè lo immolò; prese quindi del sangue e con il dito ne pose sopra i corni intorno all’altare e purificò l’altare; versò poi il sangue alla base dell’altare e lo consacrò compiendo per esso il rito espiatorio.
16 Taking all the fat that was over the inner organs, as well as the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, Moses burned them on the altar.	16 Preso tutto il grasso che è sulle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i due reni e il loro grasso, Mosè li fece salire in fumo sull’altare;
17 The bullock, however, with its hide and flesh and offal he burned in the fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	17 e bruciò sul fuoco, fuori dell’accampamento, il giovenco con la pelle, la carne e le feci come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
18 He next brought forward the holocaust ram, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	18 Offrì poi il montone dell’olocausto: Aronne e i suoi figli posero le mani sulla testa del montone
19 When he had slaughtered it, Moses splashed its blood on all sides of the altar.	19 e Mosè lo immolò e ne sparse il sangue intorno all’altare,
20 After cutting up the ram into pieces, he burned the head, the cut-up pieces and the suet;	20 divise a pezzi il montone e fece salire in fumo la testa, i pezzi e il grasso.
21 then, having washed the inner organs and the shanks with water, he also burned these remaining parts of the ram on the altar as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	21 Lavò nell’acqua le viscere e le zampe e fece salire in fumo sull’altare tutto il montone: era un olocausto dal profumo soave, un sacrificio di fuoco per Jahvè, come Jahvè aveva ordinato a Mosè.
22 Then he brought forward the second ram, the ordination ram, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	22 Offrì il secondo montone, il montone del sacrificio di investitura: Aronne e i suoi figli posero le mani sulla testa del montone
23 When he had slaughtered it, Moses took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 e Mosè lo immolò; prese del sangue e lo pose sul lobo dell’orecchio destro, sul pollice della mano destra e sull’alluce del piede destro di Aronne.
24 Moses had the sons of Aaron also come forward, and he put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. The rest of the blood he splashed on the sides of the altar.	24 Fece avvicinare i figli di Aronne: pose del sangue sul lobo del loro orecchio destro, sul pollice della loro mano destra, sull’alluce del loro piede destro e versò il sangue intorno all’altare.
25 He then took the fat: the fatty tail and all the fat over the inner organs, the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, and likewise the right leg;	25 Prese il grasso: la coda, tutto il grasso che è sulle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i due reni con il grasso e la coscia destra.
26 from the basket of unleavened food that was set before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, one loaf of bread made with oil, and one wafer; these he placed on top of the portions of fat and the right leg.	26 Dal canestro degli azzimi posto al cospetto di Jahvè prese una focaccia azzima, una focaccia di pane con l’olio, una schiacciata e le mise sopra i grassi e sopra la coscia destra;
27 He then put all these things into the hands of Aaron and his sons, whom he had wave them as a wave offering before the LORD.	27 pose il tutto sulle palme di Aronne e dei suoi figli e da essi le fece agitare al cospetto di Jahvè con il rito dell’agitazione.
28 When he had received them back, Moses burned them with the holocaust on the altar as the ordination offering, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.	28 Poi le prese dalle loro palme e le fece salire in fumo sull’altare sopra l’olocausto: un sacrificio di investitura dal profumo soave, un sacrificio di fuoco per Jahvè.
29 He then took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the LORD; this was Moses' own portion of the ordination ram. All this was in keeping with the LORD'S command to Moses.	29 Mosè prese il petto del montone e lo agitò al cospetto di Jahvè con il rito dell’agitazione: fu la parte del montone di investitura che spettava a Mosè, come Jahvè gli aveva ordinato.
30 Taking some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar, Moses sprinkled with it Aaron and his vestments, as well as his sons and their vestments, thus consecrating both Aaron and his vestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 Mosè prese ancora olio dell’unzione e sangue che era sull’altare e asperse Aronne, le sue vesti, i suoi figli e le loro vesti; così consacrò Aronne, le sue vesti, i suoi figli e le loro vesti.
31 Finally, Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the flesh at the entrance of the meeting tent, and there eat it with the bread that is in the basket of the ordination offering, in keeping with the command I have received: 'Aaron and his sons shall eat of it.'	31 Disse allora Mosè ad Aronne e ai Suoi figli: «Fate cuocere la carne all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno; là la mangerete, come anche il pane che è nel canestro del sacrificio di investitura, secondo quanto ordinai: “Aronne e i suoi figli lo mangeranno”.
32 What is left over of the flesh and the bread you shall burn up in the fire.	32 Brucerete sul fuoco ciò che resterà della carne e del pane.
33 Moreover, you are not to depart from the entrance of the meeting tent for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed; for your ordination is to last for seven days.	33 Per sette giorni non uscirete dall’ingresso della Tenda del convegno, cioè finché non siano compiuti i giorni della vostra investitura: per sette giorni infatti saranno riempite le vostre mani.
34 The LORD has commanded that what has been done today be done to make atonement for you.	34 Jahvè ha ordinato di fare come si è fatto oggi per compiere per voi il rito espiatorio.
35 Hence you must remain at the entrance of the meeting tent day and night for seven days, carrying out the prescriptions of the LORD; otherwise, you shall die; for this is the command I have received."	35 Resterete all’ingresso della Tenda del convegno giorno e notte per sette giorni, osservando la prescrizione di Jahvè e in tale modo non morirete: così infatti mi fu ordinato».
36 So Aaron and his sons did all that the LORD had commanded through Moses.	36 Aronne e i suoi figli fecero quanto Jahvè aveva ordinato per mezzo di Mosè.
