Leviticus 8

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:
2 "Take Aaron and his sons, together with the vestments, the anointing oil, the bullock for a sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened food.	2 "Prendi Aronne insieme ai suoi figli, le vesti, l'olio dell'unzione, il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio, i due arieti e il cesto dei pani azzimi;
3 Then assemble the whole community at the entrance of the meeting tent."	3 convoca tutta la comunità all'ingresso della tenda del convegno".
4 And Moses did as the LORD had commanded. When the community had assembled at the entrance of the meeting tent,	4 Mosè fece come il Signore gli aveva ordinato e la comunità fu convocata all'ingresso della tenda del convegno.
5 Moses told them what the LORD had ordered to be done.	5 Mosè disse alla comunità: "Questo il Signore ha ordinato di fare".
6 Bringing forward Aaron and his sons, he first washed them with water.	6 Mosè fece accostare Aronne e i suoi figli e li lavò con acqua.
7 Then he put the tunic on Aaron, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, placed the ephod on him, and girded him with the embroidered belt of the ephod, fastening it around him.	7 Poi rivestì Aronne della tunica, lo cinse della cintura, gli pose addosso il manto, gli mise l''efod' e lo cinse con la cintura dell''efod', nel quale avvolse l''efod'.
8 He then set the breastpiece on him, with the Urim and Thummim in it,	8 Gli mise anche il pettorale, e nel pettorale pose gli 'Urim' e i 'Tummim'.

11 Then he sprinkled some of this oil seven times on the altar, and anointed the altar, with all its appurtenances, and the laver, with its base, thus consecrating them.	11 Fece sette volte l'aspersione sull'altare, unse l'altare con tutti i suoi accessori, la conca e la sua base, per consacrarli.

13 Moses likewise brought forward Aaron's sons, clothed them with tunics, girded them with sashes, and put turbans on them, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	13 Poi Mosè fece avvicinare i figli d'Aronne, li vestì di tuniche, li cinse con le cinture e legò sul loro capo i turbanti, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.
14 When he had brought forward the bullock for a sin offering, Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	14 Fece quindi accostare il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa del giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio.
15 Then Moses slaughtered it, and taking some of its blood, with his finger he put it on the horns around the altar, thus purifying the altar. He also made atonement for the altar by pouring out the blood at its base when he consecrated it.	15 Mosè lo immolò, ne prese del sangue, bagnò con il dito i corni attorno all'altare e purificò l'altare; poi sparse il resto del sangue alla base dell'altare e lo consacrò per fare su di esso l'espiazione.
16 Taking all the fat that was over the inner organs, as well as the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, Moses burned them on the altar.	16 Poi prese tutto il grasso aderente alle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i due reni con il loro grasso e Mosè bruciò tutto sull'altare.
17 The bullock, however, with its hide and flesh and offal he burned in the fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	17 Ma il giovenco, la sua pelle, la sua carne e le feci, bruciò nel fuoco fuori dell'accampamento, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.
18 He next brought forward the holocaust ram, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	18 Fece quindi avvicinare l'ariete dell'olocausto e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa dell'ariete.
19 When he had slaughtered it, Moses splashed its blood on all sides of the altar.	19 Mosè lo immolò e ne sparse il sangue attorno all'altare.
20 After cutting up the ram into pieces, he burned the head, the cut-up pieces and the suet;	20 Poi fece a pezzi l'ariete e ne bruciò testa, pezzi e grasso.
21 then, having washed the inner organs and the shanks with water, he also burned these remaining parts of the ram on the altar as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him to do.	21 Dopo averne lavato le viscere e le zampe con acqua, bruciò tutto l'ariete sull'altare: olocausto di soave odore, un sacrificio consumato dal fuoco in onore del Signore, come il Signore gli aveva ordinato.
22 Then he brought forward the second ram, the ordination ram, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.	22 Poi fece accostare il secondo ariete, l'ariete della investitura, e Aronne e i suoi figli stesero le mani sulla testa dell'ariete.
23 When he had slaughtered it, Moses took some of its blood and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 Mosè lo immolò, ne prese del sangue e bagnò il lobo dell'orecchio destro di Aronne e il pollice della mano destra e l'alluce del piede destro.
24 Moses had the sons of Aaron also come forward, and he put some of the blood on the tips of their right ears, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. The rest of the blood he splashed on the sides of the altar.	24 Poi Mosè fece avvicinare i figli di Aronne e bagnò con quel sangue il lobo del loro orecchio destro, il pollice della mano destra e l'alluce del piede destro; sparse il resto del sangue attorno all'altare.
25 He then took the fat: the fatty tail and all the fat over the inner organs, the lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, and likewise the right leg;	25 Poi prese il grasso, la coda, tutto il grasso aderente alle viscere, il lobo del fegato, i reni con il loro grasso e la coscia destra;
26 from the basket of unleavened food that was set before the LORD he took one unleavened cake, one loaf of bread made with oil, and one wafer; these he placed on top of the portions of fat and the right leg.	26 dal canestro dei pani azzimi, che era davanti al Signore, prese una focaccia senza lievito, una focaccia di pasta intrisa nell'olio e una schiacciata e le pose sulle parti grasse e sulla coscia destra.

29 He then took the breast and waved it as a wave offering before the LORD; this was Moses' own portion of the ordination ram. 33 Moreover, you are not to depart from the entrance of the meeting tent for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed; for your ordination is to last for seven days.	33 Per sette giorni non uscirete dall'ingresso della tenda del convegno, finché cioè non siano compiuti i giorni della vostra investitura, perché la vostra investitura durerà sette giorni.
34 The LORD has commanded that what has been done today be done to make atonement for you.	34 Come si è fatto oggi così il Signore ha ordinato che si faccia per compiere il rito espiatorio su di voi.
35 Hence you must remain at the entrance of the meeting tent day and night for seven days, carrying out the prescriptions of the LORD; otherwise, you shall die; for this is the command I have received."	35 Rimarrete sette giorni all'ingresso della tenda del convegno, giorno e notte, osservando il comandamento del Signore, perché non moriate, poiché così mi è stato ordinato".
36 So Aaron and his sons did all that the LORD had commanded through Moses.	36 Aronne e i suoi figli fecero quanto era stato ordinato dal Signore per mezzo di Mosè.
