1 For the leader. Of David, the servant of the LORD.	1 A karvezetőnek. Az Úr szolgájától, Dávidtól.
2 Sin directs the heart of the wicked; their eyes are closed to the fear of God.	2 Elhatározza magában a gonosz, hogy vétkezik, szeme előtt nincs Isten félelme.
3 For they live with the delusion: their guilt will not be known and hated.	3 Színe előtt álnokul cselekszik, hadd tapasztalják gyűlöletes gonoszságát.
4 Empty and false are the words of their mouth; they have ceased to be wise and do good.	4 Gonoszság és csalárdság szájának beszéde, tudni sem akar arról, hogy a jót cselekedje.
5 In their beds they hatch plots; they set out on a wicked way; they do not reject evil.	5 Fekvőhelyén gonoszságon jár az esze, minden utat, amely nem jó, kipróbál, s nem gyűlöli a rosszat.
6 LORD, your love reaches to heaven; your fidelity, to the clouds.	6 Uram, az égig ér kegyességed, a fellegekig hűséged.
7 Your justice is like the highest mountains; your judgments, like the mighty deep; all living creatures you sustain, LORD.	7 Igazságosságod olyan, mint az Isten hegyei, ítéleteid hatalmas mélységek; Fenntartasz, Uram, embert és állatot.
8 How precious is your love, O God! We take refuge in the shadow of your wings.	8 Istenem, milyen gazdag a te irgalmasságod! Az emberek fiai szárnyad oltalmába menekülnek.
9 We feast on the rich food of your house; from your delightful stream you give us drink.	9 Megrészegülnek házad dús javaitól, gyönyörűséged patakjával itatod őket.
10 For with you is the fountain of life, and in your light we see light.	10 Mert nálad van az élet forrása, és világosságod által látunk világosságot.
11 Continue your kindness toward your friends, your just defense of the honest heart.	11 Terjeszd ki irgalmadat ismerőidre, igazságodat az igaz szívűekre.
12 Do not let the foot of the proud overtake me, nor the hand of the wicked disturb me.	12 A kevélység lába ne taposson, s meg ne ingasson a bűnös keze engem.
13 There make the evildoers fall; thrust them down, never to rise.	13 Íme elhullanak a gonosztevők, úgy megkergeted őket, hogy meg sem állhatnak.
