1 The altar of holocausts was made of acacia wood, on a square, five cubits long and five cubits wide; its height was three cubits.	1 Béséléel fit aussi l'autel des holocaustes de bois de sétim; il avait cinq coudées en carré et trois de haut.
2 At the four corners horns were made that sprang directly from the altar. The whole was plated with bronze.	2 Quatre cornes s'élevaient de ses quatre coins; et il le couvrit de lames d'airain.
3 All the utensils of the altar, the pots, shovels, basins, forks and fire pans, were likewise made of bronze.	3 Il fit d'airain divers objets pour l'usage de cet autel, des chaudières, des tenailles, des pincettes, des crocs et des brasiers.
4 A grating of bronze network was made for the altar and placed round it, on the ground, half as high as the altar itself.	4 Une grille d'airain en forme de rets, et au-dessous un foyer au milieu de l'autel.
5 Four rings were cast for the four corners of the bronze grating, as holders for the poles,	5 Il jeta en fonte quatre anneaux qu'il mit aux quatre coins de cette grille, pour y passer des bâtons qui pussent servir à porter l'autel.
6 which were made of acacia wood and plated with bronze.	6 Il fit aussi ces bâtons de bois de sétim; il les couvrit de lames d'airain,
7 The poles were put through the rings on the sides of the altar for carrying it. The altar was made in the form of a hollow box.	7 Et les fit passer dans les anneaux qui sortaient des côtés de l'autel. Or l'autel n'était pas solide, mais il était composé d'ais, étant creux et vide au dedans.
8 The bronze laver, with its bronze base, was made from the mirrors of the women who served at the entrance of the meeting tent.	8 Il fit encore un bassin d'airain et sa base avec les miroirs des femmes qui veillaient à la porte du tabernacle.
9 The court was made as follows. On the south side of the court there were hangings, woven of fine linen twined, a hundred cubits long,	9 Il fit aussi le parvis; au côté du midi il y avait des rideaux de fin lin retors, dans l'espace de cent coudées.
10 with twenty columns and twenty pedestals of bronze, the hooks and bands of the columns being of silver.	10 Il y avait vingt colonnes d'airain avec leurs bases, et les chapiteaux de ces colonnes avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent.
11 On the north side there were similar hangings, one hundred cubits long, with twenty columns and twenty pedestals of bronze, the hooks and bands of the columns being of silver.	11 Du côté du septentrion, il y avait des rideaux qui tenaient le même espace. Les colonnes avec leurs bases et leurs chapiteaux étaient de même mesure, de même métal et travaillés de même.
12 On the west side there were hangings, fifty cubits long, with ten columns and ten pedestals, the hooks and bands of the columns being of silver.	12 Mais au côté du parvis qui regardait l'occident, les rideaux ne s'étendaient que dans l'espace de cinquante coudées; il y avait seulement dix colonnes d'airain avec leurs bases, et les chapiteaux des colonnes avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent.
13 On the east side the court was fifty cubits long.	13 Du côté de l'orient, il mit de même des rideaux qui occupaient cinquante coudées de long,
14 Toward one side there were hangings to the extent of fifteen cubits, with three columns and three pedestals; toward the other side,	14 Dont il y avait quinze coudées d'un côté avec trois colonnes et leurs bases,
15 beyond the entrance of the court, there were likewise hangings to the extent of fifteen cubits, with three columns and three pedestals.	15 Et quinze coudées aussi de l'autre côté, avec les rideaux, trois colonnes et leurs bases; car au milieu, entre les deux, il fit l'entrée du tabernacle.
16 The hangings on all sides of the court were woven of fine linen twined.	16 Tous ces rideaux du parvis étaient tissus de fin lin retors.
17 The pedestals of the columns were of bronze, while the hooks and bands of the columns were of silver; the capitals were silver-plated, and all the columns of the court were banded with silver.	17 Les bases des colonnes étaient d'airain; leurs chapiteaux avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent, et il couvrit les colonnes mêmes du parvis de lames d'argent.
18 At the entrance of the court there was a variegated curtain, woven of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen twined, twenty cubits long and five cubits wide, in keeping with the hangings of the court.	18 Il fit le grand voile qui était à l'entrée du parvis, d'un ouvrage de broderie d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate et de fin lin retors. Il avait vingt coudées de long et cinq coudées de haut, selon la hauteur de tous les rideaux du parvis.
19 There were four columns and four pedestals of bronze for it, while their hooks were of silver.	19 Il y avait quatre colonnes à l'entrée du tabernacle, avec leurs bases d'airain; et leurs chapiteaux ainsi que leurs ornements étaient d'argent.
20 All the tent pegs for the Dwelling and for the court around it were of bronze.	20 Il fit aussi des pieux d'airain pour mettre tout autour du tabernacle et du parvis.
21 The following is an account of the various amounts used on the Dwelling, the Dwelling of the commandments, drawn up at the command of Moses by the Levites under the direction of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.	21 Ce sont là toutes les parties qui composaient le tabernacle du témoignage, que Moïse commanda à Ithamar, fils d'Aaron le grand-prêtre, de donner par compte aux Lévites, afin qu'ils en fussent chargés.
22 However, it was Bezalel, son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, who made all that the Lord commanded Moses,	22 Béséléel, fils d'Uri, qui était fils de Hur, de la tribu de Juda, acheva tout l'ouvrage, selon l'ordre que le Seigneur en avait donné par la bouche de Moïse.
23 and he was assisted by Oholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, who was an engraver, an embroiderer, and a weaver of variegated cloth of violet, purple and scarlet yarn and of fine linen.	23 Il eut pour compagnon Ooliab, fils d'Achisamech, de la tribu de Dan, qui savait aussi travailler excellemment en bois, en étoffes tissées de fils de différentes couleurs, et en broderie d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate et de fin lin.
24 All the gold used in the entire construction of the sanctuary, having previously been given as an offering, amounted to twenty-nine talents and seven hundred and thirty shekels, according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel.	24 Tout l'or qui fut employé pour les ouvrages du sanctuaire, et qui fut offert à Dieu dans les dons volontaires du peuple, était de vingt-neuf talents et de sept cent trente sicles, selon la mesure du sanctuaire.
25 The amount of the silver received from the community was one hundred talents and one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels, according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel;	25 Ces oblations furent faites par ceux qui entrèrent dans le dénombrement, ayant vingt ans et au-dessus, et qui étaient au nombre de six cent trois mille cinq cent cinquante hommes portant les armes.
26 one bekah apiece, that is, a half-shekel apiece, according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel, was received from every man of twenty years or more who entered the registered group; the number of these was six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty men.	26 Il y eut de plus cent talents d'argent, dont furent faites les bases du sanctuaire et l'entrée où le voile était suspendu.
27 One hundred talents of silver were used for casting the pedestals of the sanctuary and the pedestals of the veil, one talent for each pedestal, or one hundred talents for the one hundred pedestals.	27 Il fit cent bases de cent talents; chaque base était d'un talent.
28 The remaining one thousand seven hundred and seventy-five shekels were used for making the hooks on the columns, for plating the capitals, and for banding them with silver.	28 Il employa mille sept cent soixante-quinze sicles d'argent aux chapiteaux des colonnes, et il revêtit ces mêmes colonnes de lames d'argent.
29 The bronze, given as an offering, amounted to seventy talents and two thousand four hundred shekels.	29 On offrit aussi soixante-dix talents d'airain et deux mille quatre cents sicles,
30 With this were made the pedestals at the entrance of the meeting tent, the bronze altar with its bronze gratings and all the appurtenances of the altar,	30 Qui furent employés à faire les bases à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage, et l'autel d'airain avec sa grille, et tous les vases qui devaient servir à son usage,
31 the pedestals around the court, the pedestals at the entrance of the court, and all the tent pegs for the Dwelling and for the court around it.	31 Et les bases du parvis qui étaient tout autour et à l'entrée, avec les pieux qui s'employaient autour du tabernacle et du parvis.
