1 When the wall had been rebuilt, I had the doors set up, and the gatekeepers (and the singers and the Levites) were put in charge of them.	1 - Dopo che la muraglia fu riedificata, ed ebbi poste le porte, e recensiti i portinai, i cantori e i leviti,

3 I said to them: "The gates of Jerusalem are not to be opened until the sun is hot, and while the sun is still shining they shall shut and bar the doors. Appoint as watchmen the inhabitants of Jerusalem, some at their watch posts, and others before their own houses."	3 e dissi loro: «Le porte di Gerusalemme non si aprano finchè non sia alto il sole». 5 When my God had put it into my mind to gather together the nobles, the magistrates, and the common people, and to examine their family records, I came upon the family list of those who had returned in the earliest period. 6 These are the inhabitants of the province who returned from the captivity of the exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, had carried away, and who came back to Jerusalem and Judah, each man to his own city	6 Questi son gli uomini della provincia, che vennero dalla cattività dei deportati, nella quale li aveva condotti Nabucodonosor re di Babilonia, e che tornano in Gerusalemme ed in Giudea, ciascuno nella sua città.
