Isaiah (ישעיה) - Isaia 35

1 לדוד ריבה יהוה את יריבי לחם את לחמי	1 Unto the end. To the servant of the Lord, David himself.
2 החזק מגן וצנה וקומה בעזרתי	2 The unjust one has said within himself that he would commit offenses. There is no fear of God before his eyes.
3 והרק חנית וסגר לקראת רדפי אמר לנפשי ישעתך אני	3 For he has acted deceitfully in his sight, such that his iniquity will be found to be hatred.
4 יבשו ויכלמו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויחפרו חשבי רעתי	4 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He is unwilling to understand, so that he may act well.
5 יהיו כמץ לפני רוח ומלאך יהוה דוחה	5 He has been considering iniquity on his bed. He has set himself on every way that is not good; moreover, he has not hated evil.
6 יהי דרכם חשך וחלקלקות ומלאך יהוה רדפם	6 Lord, your mercy is in heaven, and your truth is even to the clouds.
7 כי חנם טמנו לי שחת רשתם חנם חפרו לנפשי	7 Your justice is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great abyss. Men and beasts, you will save, O Lord.
8 תבואהו שואה לא ידע ורשתו אשר טמן תלכדו בשואה יפל בה	8 How you have multiplied your mercy, O God! And so the sons of men will hope under the cover of your wings.
9 ונפשי תגיל ביהוה תשיש בישועתו	9 They will be inebriated with the fruitfulness of your house, and you will give them to drink from the torrent of your enjoyment.
10 כל עצמותי תאמרנה יהוה מי כמוך מציל עני מחזק ממנו ועני ואביון מגזלו	10 For with you is the fountain of life; and within your light, we will see the light.
11 יקומון עדי חמס אשר לא ידעתי ישאלוני	11 Extend your mercy before those who know you, and your justice to these, who are upright in heart.
12 ישלמוני רעה תחת טובה שכול לנפשי	12 May arrogant feet not approach me, and may the hand of the sinner not disturb me.
13 ואני בחלותם לבושי שק עניתי בצום נפשי ותפלתי על חיקי תשוב	13 In that place, those who work iniquity have fallen. They have been expelled; they were not able to stand.
14 כרע כאח לי התהלכתי כאבל אם קדר שחותי
15 ובצלעי שמחו ונאספו נאספו עלי נכים ולא ידעתי קרעו ולא דמו
16 בחנפי לעגי מעוג חרק עלי שנימו
17 אדני כמה תראה השיבה נפשי משאיהם מכפירים יחידתי
18 אודך בקהל רב בעם עצום אהללך
19 אל ישמחו לי איבי שקר שנאי חנם יקרצו עין
20 כי לא שלום ידברו ועל רגעי ארץ דברי מרמות יחשבון
21 וירחיבו עלי פיהם אמרו האח האח ראתה עינינו
22 ראיתה יהוה אל תחרש אדני אל תרחק ממני
23 העירה והקיצה למשפטי אלהי ואדני לריבי
24 שפטני כצדקך יהוה אלהי ואל ישמחו לי
25 אל יאמרו בלבם האח נפשנו אל יאמרו בלענוהו
26 יבשו ויחפרו יחדו שמחי רעתי ילבשו בשת וכלמה המגדילים עלי
27 ירנו וישמחו חפצי צדקי ויאמרו תמיד יגדל יהוה החפץ שלום עבדו
28 ולשוני תהגה צדקך כל היום תהלתך
