1 Le classi de' portinaj furon queste: Della casa di Core, Meselemia figliuolo di Core, de' figliuoli di Asaph.	1 And the divisions of the porters: of the Corites Meselemia, the son of Core, of the sons of Asaph.
2 Figliuoli di Meselemia: Zacharia primogenito, secondo Jadihel, terzo Zabadia, quarto Jathanael,	2 The sons of Meselemia: Zacharias the firstborn, Jadihel the second, Zabadias the third, Jathanael the fourth,
3 Quinto Elam, Johanan sesto, Elioenai settimo.	3 Elam the fifth, Johanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 Figliuoli di Obededom: Semeia Primogenito, secondo Jozabad, terzo oaha, Sachar quarto, Nathanael quinto,	4 And the sons of Obededom, Semeias the firstborn, Jozabad the second, Joaha the third, Sachar the fourth, Nathanael the fifth,
5 Ammiel sesto, settimo Issachar, ottavo Phollathi: perocché Obededom fu benedetto dal Signore.	5 Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Phollathi the eighth: for the Lord had blessed him.
6 E Semei suo figliuolo ebbe dei figliuoli capi di loro famiglie: ed erano uomini fortissimi.	6 And to Semei his son were born sons, herds of their families: for they were men of great valour.
7 Figliuoli di Semeia: Othni, e Raphael, e Obed, Elzabad, e i suoi fratelli uomini fortissimi, ed anche Eliu, e Samachia.	7 The sons then of Semeias were Othni, and Raphael, and Obed, Elizabad, and his brethren most valiant men: and Eliu, and Samachias.
8 Tutti questi eran della famiglia di Obededom: eglino, e i figliuoli, e fratelli loro, uomini di gran robustezza pel lor ministero: sessantadue della casa di Obededom.	8 All these of the sons of Obededom: they, and their sons, and their brethren most able men for service, sixty-two of Obededom.
9 I figliuoli di Meselemia, e i loro fratelli uomini fortissimi, diciotto.	9 And the sons of Meselemia, and their brethren strong men, were eighteen.
10 Di Hosa, cioè della stirpe di Merari: Semri fu capo di una banda (perocché suo padre non avea il primogenito, e a lui avea dato perciò il primo luogo),	10 And of Hosa, that is, of the sons of Merari: Semri the chief, (for he had not a firstborn, and therefore his father made him chief.)
11 Secondo Helcia, terzo Tabella, Zacharia quarto. Tutti questi figliuoli di Uosa insieme co' loro fratelli eran tredici.	11 Helcias the second, Tabelias the third, Zacharias the fourth: all these the sons, and the brethren of Hosa, were thirteen.
12 A questi fu distribuito l'ufficio di portinaj in tal maniera, che i capi delle guardie, come anche i loro fratelli servivano sempre nella casa del Signore.	12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, so that the chiefs of the wards, as well as their brethren, always ministered in the house of the Lord.
13 Per ciascheduna adunque delle porte furori tirate egualmente a sorte le famiglie senza distinzione di piccolo, o di grande.	13 And they cast lots equally, both little and great, by their families for every one of the gates.
14 Or la porta d'oriente toccò a Selemia: e a Zacharia suo figliuolo, uomo prudentissimo, e intelligente, toccò a sorte quella di settentrione.	14 And the lot of the east fell to Selemias. But to his son Zacharias, a very wise and learned man, the north gate fell by lot.
15 E ad Obededom, e a' suoi figliuoli quella di mezzodì: nella qual parte della casa era il consiglio de' seniori.	15 And to Obededom and his sons that towards the south: in which part of the house was the council of the ancients.
16 Sephim, e Hosa ad occidente presso alla porta, che mena alla strada della salita: una guardia dirimpetto all'altra guardia.	16 To Sephim, and Hosa towards the west, by the gate which leadeth to the way of the ascent: ward against ward.
17 Alla porta d'oriente sei Leviti; e a quella di settentrione quattro ogni di, e a mezzogiorno parimente quattro ogni dì; e dove era il consiglio, due alla volta.	17 Now towards the east were six Levites: and towards the north four a day: and towards the south likewise four a day: and where the council was, two and two.
18 E alle celle de' portinaj ad occidente quattro sulla strada, due per volta alle celle.	18 In the cells also of the porters toward the west four in the way: and two at every cell.
19 Ecco come fu spartita la custodia delle porte ai figliuoli di Core, e di Merari.	19 These are the divisions of the porters of the sons of Core, and of Merari.
20 Achias poi avea la custodia de' tesori della casa del Signore, e de' vasi sagri.	20 Now Achias was over the treasures of the house of God, and the holy vessels.
21 Figliuoli di Ledan, figliuolo di Gersonni: di Ledan figliuolo di Gersonni vengono questi capi di famiglie: Jehieli.	21 The sons of Ledan, the sons of Gersonni: of Ledan were heads of the families, of Ledan, and Gersonni, Jehieli.
22 I figliuoli di Jehieli: Zatan, e Joel suoi fratelli custodi dei tesori della casa del Signore,	22 The sons of Jehieli: Zathan and Joel, his brethren over the treasures of the house of the Lord,
23 Insieme con quelli delle famiglie di Amram, di Isaar, di Hebron, e di Ozihel.	23 With the Amramites, and Isaarites, and Hebronites, and Ozielites.
24 E Subael figliuolo di Gersom, figliuolo di Mosè, capo dei tesorieri.	24 And Subael the son of Gersom, the son of Moses, was chief over the treasures.
25 Ed Eliezer suo fratello, di cui fu figliuolo Rahabia, e di questo Isaia, e di questo fu figliuolo Joram, di cui fu figliuolo Zechri, e di questo Selemith.	25 His brethren also, Eliezer, whose son Rohobia, and his son Isaias, and his son Joram, and his son Zechri, and his son Selemith.
26 Lo stesso Selemith, e i suoi fratelli aveano la custodia dei tesori delle cose sante consagrate dal re David, e dai principi delle famiglie, e dai tribuni, e dai centurioni, e dagli altri capi dell'esercito,	26 Which Selemith and his brethren were over the treasures of the holy things, which king David, and the heads of families, and the captains over thousands and over hundreds, and the captains of the host had dedicated,
27 Cioè delle cose predate, e delle spoglie prese in guerra, e consacrate pel mantenimento del tempio del Signore, e de' suoi utensili.	27 Out of the wars, and the spoils won in battles, which they had consecrated to the building and furniture of the temple of the Lord.
28 Or tutte queste cose erano state consagrate da Samuele Profeta, da Sauj figliuolo di Cis, e da Abner figliuolo di Ner, e da Gioab figliuolo di Sarvia. Tutti quelli, che ne facevan offerta, le mettevan nelle mani di Selemith, e de' suoi fratelli.	28 And all these things that Samuel the seer and Saul the son of Cis, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Sarvia had sanctified: and whosoever had sanctified those things, they were under the hand of Selemith and his brethren.
29 I discendenti d'Isaar aveano per loro capo Chonenìa co' suoi figliuoli, e presedevano alle cose di fuori concernenti Israele, all'instruire, e al giudicare.	29 But Chonenias and his sons were over the Isaarites, for the business abroad over Israel to teach them and judge them.
30 Hasabia della famiglia degli Hebroniti, e i suoi fratelli, in numero di mille settecento, aveano ispezione sopra Israele di là dal Giordano verso ponente per tutto quello, che riguardava le cose del Signore, e il servizio del re.	30 And of the Hebronites Hasabias, and his brethren most able men, a thousand seven hundred had the charge over Israel beyond the Jordan westward, in all the works of the Lord, and for the service of the king.
31 Jeria fu capo degli Hebroniti di visi nelle loro famiglie, e consorterie. L'anno quaranta di Davidde ne fu fatto il censo in Jazer di Galaad; e di questi uomini fortissimi,	31 And the chief of the Hebronites was Jeria according to their families and kindreds. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were numbered, and there were found most valiant men in Jazer Galaad,
32 E de' loro fratelli nel vigor dell'età si trovarono due mila settecento capi di famiglie. E David re diede loro la soprintendenza sopra i Rubelliti, e i Gadditi, e la mezza tribù di Manasse per tutto quello, che concerneva il servizio di Dio, e quello del re.	32 And his brethren of stronger age, two thousand seven hundred chiefs of families. And king David made them rulers over the Rubenites and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses, for all the service of God, and the king.
