1 Let brotherly love continue.	1 Permaneça entre vós a caridade fraterna.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.	2 Não vos esqueçais da hospitalidade, porque por esta alguns, sem o saberem, (como Abraão e Lot) hospedaram anjos.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.	3 Lembrai-vos dos que estão presos (por causa da fé), como se estivésseis presos juntamente com eles, e dos aflitos, lembrando-vos de que também tendes um corpo.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.	4 Seja por todos honrado o matrimônio, e o leito conjugal sem mácula, porque Deus julgará os impudicos e os adúlteros.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.	5 Sejam os vossos costumes isentos de avareza, contentando-vos com o que tendes, porque ele mesmo disse: Não te deixarei, nem te abandonarei (Dt. 31, 6).
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.	6 Assim digamos confiadamente: O Senhor é o meu auxilio; não temerei; que me poderá fazer o homem? (Ps. 117, 6).
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.	7 Lembrai-vos dos vossos chefes, que vos anunciaram a palavra de Deus, e, considerando o fim da sua vida, imitai a sua fé.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.	8 Jesus Cristo é sempre o mesmo, ontem e hoje; ele o será também por todos os séculos.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.	9 Não vos deixeis levar por doutrinas várias e estranhas. É ótimo fortificar o coração com a graça, não com alimentos, que nada aproveitaram aos que usaram deles.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.	10 Nós (os cristãos) temos um altar, do qual os (sacerdotes judeus) que servem ao tabernáculo não têm faculdade de comer.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.	11 Os corpos daqueles animais, cujo sangue é levado pelo pontífice ao santuário, para expiação do pecado, são queimados fora dos arraiais.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.	12 Pelo que também Jesus, para santificar o povo com o seu sangue, padeceu fora da porta (de Jerusalém).
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.	13 Saiamos, pois, a ele fora dos arraiais, (e sigamos-lhes as pisadas), levando o seu opróbrio,
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.	14 porque não temos aqui cidade permanente, mas vamos buscando a futura.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.	15 Ofereçamos, pois, sempre a Deus, por meio dele, um sacrifício de louvor, isto é, o fruto dos lábios que confessam o seu nome.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.	16 Não esqueçais a beneficência e a liberalidade, porque com tais vítimas se torna Deus propício.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.	17 Obedecei aos vossos superiores e sede-lhes sujeitos, porque velam pelas vossas almas, como quem há-de dar conta delas, para que façam isto com alegria, e não gemendo, o que não vos seria vantajoso.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.	18 Orai por nós, pois temos confiança de ter boa consciência, desejando portar-nos bem em tudo.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.	19 Com mais instância vos rogo que façais isto, para que eu vos seja restituído mais depressa.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,	20 O Deus da paz, que ressuscitou dentre os mortos, aquele que, pelo sangue da aliança eterna, se tornou o grande Pastor das ovelhas, nosso Senhor Jesus,
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.	21 vos torne aptos para todo o bem, para que façais a sua vontade, operando ele em vós o que é agradável a seus olhos por Jesus Cristo, a quem seja dada glória pelos séculos dos séculos. Amém.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.	22 Rogo-vos, pois, irmãos, que recebais bem esta palavra de exortação, porque pouco foi o que vos escrevi.
23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.	23 Sabei que nosso irmão Timóteo foi posto em liberdade; com ele, se vier com presteza, irei ver-vos.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.	24 Saudai todos os vossos chefes e todos os santos. Os irmãos de Itália saúdam-vos.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.	25 A graça seja com todos vós.
