Hebrews 13

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Let brotherly love continue.	1 Perseveren en el amor fraternal.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.	2 No se olviden de practicar la hospitalidad, ya que gracias a ella, algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron a los ángeles.
3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.	3 Acuérdense de los que están presos, como si ustedes lo estuvieran con ellos, y de los que son maltratados, como si ustedes estuvieran en su mismo cuerpo.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.	4 Respeten el matrimonio y no deshonren el lecho conyugal, porque Dios condenará a los lujuriosos y a los adúlteros.
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.	5 No se dejen llevar de la avaricia, y conténtense con lo que tienen, porque el mismo Dios ha dicho: No te dejaré ni te abandonaré.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.	6 De manera que podemos decir con plena confianza: El Señor es mi protector: no temeré. ¿Qué podrán hacerme los hombres?
7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.	7 Acuérdense de quienes los dirigían, porque ellos les anunciaron la Palabra de Dios: consideren cómo terminó su vida e imiten su fe.
8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.	8 Jesucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy, y lo será para siempre.
9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.	9 No se dejen extraviar por cualquier clase de doctrinas extrañas. Lo mejor es fortalecer el corazón con la gracia, no con alimentos que de nada aprovechan a quienes los comen.
10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.	10 Nosotros tenemos un altar del que no tienen derecho a comer los ministros de la Antigua Alianza.
11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.	11 Los animales sacrificados, cuya sangre es llevada al Santuario por el Sumo Sacerdote para la expiación del pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.	12 Por eso Jesús, para santificar al pueblo con su sangre, padeció fuera de las puertas de la ciudad.
13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.	13 Salgamos nosotros también del campamento, para ir hacia él, cargando su deshonra.
14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.	14 Porque no tenemos aquí abajo una ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la futura.
15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.	15 Y por medio de él, ofrezcamos sin cesar a Dios un sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, el fruto de los labios que confiesan su Nombre.
16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.	16 Hagan siempre el bien y compartan lo que poseen, porque esos son sacrificios agradables a Dios.
17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.	17 Obedezcan con docilidad a quienes los dirigen, porque ellos se desvelan por ustedes, como quien tiene que dar cuenta. Así ellos podrán cumplir su deber con alegría y no penosamente, lo cual no les reportaría a ustedes ningún provecho.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.	18 Rueguen por nosotros. En realidad, estamos convencidos de tener buena conciencia, ya que nuestra intención es proceder correctamente en todo.
19 But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.	19 Además, les pido insistentemente que oren, para que yo pueda encontrarme con ustedes lo antes posible.
20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,	20 Que el Dios de la paz –el mismo que resucitó de entre los muertos a nuestro Señor Jesús, el gran Pastor de las ovejas, por la sangre de una Alianza eterna–
21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.	21 los capacite para cumplir su voluntad, practicando toda clase de bien. Que él haga en nosotros lo que es agradable a sus ojos, por Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
22 And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.	22 Les ruego, hermanos, que acepten con paciencia estas palabras de exhortación, teniendo en cuenta que les he escrito brevemente.
23 Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.	23 Sepan que nuestro hermano Timoteo ha sido puesto en libertad; si llega a tiempo, iré a verlos con él.
24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.	24 Saluden a todos sus dirigentes y a todos los hermanos. Los hermanos de Italia les envían saludos.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen.	25 Que la gracia permanezca con todos ustedes.
