KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.	1 Voici sur les montagnes les pas du messager; il annonce: "La Paix!" Célèbre tes fêtes, Juda,accomplis tes voeux, car Bélial désormais ne passera plus chez toi, il est entièrement anéanti.
2 For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.	2 Un destructeur s'avance contre toi. Monte la garde au rempart, surveille la route, ceins-toi les reins,rassemble toutes tes forces.
3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.	3 (Oui, Yahvé rétablit la vigne de Jacob et la vigne d'Israël. Les pillards les avaient pillées, ils enavaient brisé les sarments).
4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.	4 Le bouclier de ses preux rougeoie, ses braves sont vêtus d'écarlate; les chars flamboient de tous leursaciers au jour de leur mise en ligne; les cavaliers s'agitent;
5 He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make hast to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.	5 dans les rues les chars font rage, ils foncent à travers les places; à les voir on dirait des flammes;comme la foudre, ils courent çà et là.
6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.	6 On appelle les puissants; ils trébuchent dans leur marche; ils se hâtent vers le rempart. Et l'abri est enplace.
7 And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.	7 Les portes qui donnent sur le Fleuve s'ouvrent et le palais s'agite en tous sens.
8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.	8 La Beauté est emmenée en exil, enlevée, ses servantes poussent des gémissements comme la plaintedes colombes;
9 Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.	9 elles se frappent le coeur. Ninive est comme un bassin d'eau dont les eaux s'échappent. "Arrêtez,arrêtez!" Mais nul ne se retourne.
10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.	10 "Pillez l'argent! Pillez l'or!" Il n'y a pas de fin au trésor, une masse de tous objets précieux!
11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?	11 Pillage, saccage, ravage! Le coeur se fond, les genoux fléchissent, le frisson est dans tous les reins,tous les visages perdent leur couleur.
12 The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.	12 Où est la tanière des lions, la caverne des lionceaux? Lorsque partait le lion, la lionne y restait, etles petits du lion; nul ne les inquiétait.
13 Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.	13 Le lion déchirait pour ses petits, il étranglait pour ses lionnes; il remplissait ses antres de rapine, sestanières de proie.
	14 Me voici! A toi! oracle de Yahvé Sabaot. Je vais réduire en fumée tes chars; l'épée dévorera teslionceaux. Je vais faire disparaître de la terre tes rapines et l'on n'entendra plus la voix de tes messagers.
