1 He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.	1 Ο κατασυντριβων ανεβη εμπροσθεν του προσωπου σου? φυλαττε το οχυρωμα, σκοπευσον την οδον, ενισχυσον τας οσφυς, ενδυναμωσον την ισχυν σου σφοδρα.
2 For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.	2 Επειδη ο Κυριος απεστρεψε την δοξαν του Ιακωβ καθως την δοξαν του Ισραηλ? διοτι οι τινακται εξετιναξαν αυτους και διεφθειραν τα κληματα αυτων.
3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.	3 Η ασπις των ισχυρων αυτου ειναι κοκκινοβαφης, οι ανδρες δυναμεως ενδεδυμενοι ερυθρα? αι αμαξαι θελουσι κινεισθαι με σιδηρον λαμποντα εν τη ημερα της ετοιμασιας αυτου, και τα ελατινα δορατα θελουσι σεισθη τρομερα.
4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.	4 Αι αμαξαι θελουσι θορυβεισθαι εν ταις οδοις, θελουσι συγκρουεσθαι η μια μετα της αλλης εν ταις πλατειαις? η θεα αυτων θελει εισθαι ως λαμπαδες, θελουσι τρεχει ως αστραπαι.
5 He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make hast to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.	5 Θελει ενθυμηθη τους ανδρειους αυτου? αλλα θελουσι κατολισθησει εν τη οδω αυτων? θελουσι σπευσει εις τα τειχη αυτης και ο συνασπισμος θελει ετοιμασθη.
6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.	6 Αι πυλαι των ποταμων θελουσιν ανοιχθη και τα παλατια θελουσι διαλυθη.
7 And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.	7 Και η καθεστωσα θελει γυμνωθη, θελει μετοικισθη, και αι δουλαι αυτης θελουσιν αναδιδει στεναγμους ως η φωνη των περιστερων, τυπτουσαι τα στηθη αυτων.
8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.	8 Και η Νινευη ειναι παλαιοθεν ως λιμνη υδατων? ταυτα ομως θελουσι φυγει. Στητε, στητε, θελουσι φωναζει? και ουδεις ο βλεπων οπισω.
9 Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.	9 Λαφυραγωγειτε το αργυριον, λαφυραγωγειτε το χρυσιον? διοτι δεν ειναι τελος των θησαυρων αυτης? ειναι πληθος παντος σκευους επιθυμητου.
10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.	10 Εξεκενωθη και εξετιναχθη και ηρημωθη και η καρδια διαλυεται και τα γονατα κλονιζονται και ωδινες ειναι εις πασας τας οσφυς, τα δε προσωπα παντων ειναι απησβολωμενα.
11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?	11 Που ειναι το κατοικητηριον των λεοντων και η βοσκη των σκυμνων, οπου ο λεων, ο γηραιος λεων, περιεπατει και ο σκυμνος του λεοντος, και δεν υπηρχεν ο εκφοβων;
12 The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.	12 Ο λεων διεσπαραττεν ικανα δια τους σκυμνους αυτου και απεπνιγε δια τας λεαινας αυτου, και εγεμιζε τα σπηλαια αυτου απο θηραματος και τα κατοικητηρια αυτου απο αρπαγης.
13 Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.	13 Ιδου, εγω ειμαι εναντιον σου, λεγει ο Κυριος των δυναμεων, και θελω καυσει τας αμαξας σου μεχρι καπνου και η ρομφαια θελει καταφαγει τους σκυμνους σου, και θελω εξολοθρευσει το θηραμα σου εκ της γης, και δεν θελει ακουσθη πλεον η φωνη των πρεσβεων σου.
