1 He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face: keep the munition, watch the way, make thy loins strong, fortify thy power mightily.	1 ¡He aquí por los montes los pies del mensajero de buenas nuevas, el que anuncia la paz! Celebra tus fiestas, Judá, cumple tus votos, porque no volverá a pasar por ti Belial: ha sido extirpado totalmente.
2 For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob, as the excellency of Israel: for the emptiers have emptied them out, and marred their vine branches.	2 ¡Sube un destructor contra ti! ¡Monta la guardia en la fortaleza, vigila el camino, cíñete los lomos, refuerza bien tu fuerza!
3 The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation, and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.	3 Pues Yahveh restablece la viña de Jacob, como la viña de Israel. Devastadores la habían devastado, habían destruido sus sarmientos.
4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings.	4 El escudo de sus bravos es rojo, valientes vestidos de escarlata; con fuego de hierros brillan los carros, el día que los preparan, y son impacientes los jinetes.
5 He shall recount his worthies: they shall stumble in their walk; they shall make hast to the wall thereof, and the defence shall be prepared.	5 Por las calles corren furiosos los carros, se precipitan en las plazas, su aspecto es semejante a antorchas, como relámpago se lanzan.
6 The gates of the rivers shall be opened, and the palace shall be dissolved.	6 Se da la voz a los bravos; en su marcha se entrechocan; se apresuran hacia la muralla y se prepara el parapeto.
7 And Huzzab shall be led away captive, she shall be brought up, and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves, tabering upon their breasts.	7 Las puertas que dan al Río se abren y en el palacio cunde el pánico.
8 But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water: yet they shall flee away. Stand, stand, shall they cry; but none shall look back.	8 La Belleza es deportada, arrancada, sus siervas gimen, como gemido de palomas, y se golpean el corazón.
9 Take ye the spoil of silver, take the spoil of gold: for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.	9 Nínive es como una alberca cuyas aguas se van. «¡Deteneos, deteneos!» Pero nadie se vuelve.
10 She is empty, and void, and waste: and the heart melteth, and the knees smite together, and much pain is in all loins, and the faces of them all gather blackness.	10 «Saquead la plata, saquead el oro». ¡Es un tesoro que no tiene fin, grávido de todos los objetos preciosos!
11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them afraid?	11 ¡Destrozo, saqueo, devastación! ¡Corazones que se disuelven y rodillas que vacilan y estremecimiento en todos los lomos y todos los rostros que mudan de color!
12 The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps, and strangled for his lionesses, and filled his holes with prey, and his dens with ravin.	12 ¿Dónde está el cubil de los leones, la cueva de los leoncillos, a donde iba el león a llevar la cría del león, sin que nadie le inquietase?
13 Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.	13 El león dilaceraba para sus cachorros, estrangulaba para sus leonas, llenaba de presas sus escondrijos y de rapiñas sus cubiles.
	14 Aquí estoy contra ti, - oráculo de Yahveh Sebaot -: encenderé en humareda tus carros, y la espada devorará a tus leoncillos; suprimiré de la tierra tu presa, y no se oirá más la voz de tus mensajeros.
