King James Bible La Biblia
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,1 Me fue dirigida esta palabra del Señor:
Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?2 «Hijo de hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel, profetiza y diles: “¡Pastores!, esto dice el Señor: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel que se apacientan a sí mismos! ¿No deben los pastores apacentar las ovejas?
Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.3 Os coméis las partes mejores, os vestís con su lana; matáis las más gordas, pero no apacentáis el rebaño.
The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.4 No habéis robustecido a las débiles, ni curado a la enferma, ni vendado a la herida; no habéis recogido a la descarriada, ni buscado a la que se había perdido, sino que con fuerza y violencia las habéis dominado.
And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.5 Sin pastor, se dispersaron para ser devoradas por las fieras del campo.
My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.6 Se dispersó mi rebaño y anda errante por montes y altos cerros; por todos los rincones del país se dispersó mi rebaño y no hay quien lo siga ni lo busque.
Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;7 Por eso, pastores, escuchad la palabra del Señor:
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;8 ¡por mi vida!
Therefore, O ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;9 por eso, pastores, escuchad la palabra del Señor:
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.10 Esto dice el Señor Dios: Me voy a enfrentar con los pastores: les reclamaré mi rebaño, dejarán de apacentar el rebaño, y ya no podrán apacentarse a sí mismos. Libraré mi rebaño de sus fauces, para que no les sirva de alimento”».
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.11 Porque esto dice el Señor Dios: «Yo mismo buscaré mi rebaño y lo cuidaré.
As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.12 Como cuida un pastor de su grey dispersa, así cuidaré yo de mi rebaño y lo libraré, sacándolo de los lugares por donde se había dispersado un día de oscuros nubarrones.
And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.13 Sacaré a mis ovejas de en medio de los pueblos, las reuniré de entre las naciones, las llevaré a su tierra, las apacentaré en los montes de Israel, en los valles y en todos los poblados del país.
I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.14 Las apacentaré en pastos escogidos, tendrán sus majadas en los montes más altos de Israel; se recostarán en pródigas dehesas y pacerán pingües pastos en los montes de Israel.
I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.15 Yo mismo apacentaré mis ovejas y las haré reposar —oráculo del Señor Dios—.
I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.16 Buscaré la oveja perdida, recogeré a la descarriada; vendaré a las heridas; fortaleceré a la enferma; pero a la que está fuerte y robusta la guardaré: la apacentaré con justicia».
And as for you, O my flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.17 En cuanto a vosotros, mi rebaño, esto dice el Señor Dios: «Yo voy a juzgar entre oveja y oveja, entre carnero y macho cabrío.
Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with your feet?18 ¿No os basta pacer en buenos pastos, sino que pisoteáis con las pezuñas el resto del pastizal? ¿No os basta beber el agua clara, sino que enturbiáis el resto con las pezuñas?
And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled with your feet.19 ¿Ha de pastar mi rebaño lo que vuestras pezuñas pisotearon, y beber lo que vuestras pezuñas enturbiaron?
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.20 Por eso así les dice el Señor Dios: Yo mismo juzgaré entre la oveja robusta y la flaca.
Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have scattered them abroad;21 Habéis embestido con el flanco y el cuarto delantero, y corneado a las más débiles hasta dispersarlas y echarlas fuera.
Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.22 Pero yo defenderé mi rebaño y no será ya objeto de pillaje. Yo juzgaré entre oveja y oveja.
And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.23 Suscitaré un único pastor que las apaciente: mi siervo David; él las apacentará, él será su pastor.
And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.24 Yo, el Señor, seré su Dios, y mi siervo David, príncipe en medio de ellos. Yo, el Señor, he hablado.
And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.25 Estableceré con mi rebaño una alianza de paz: exterminaré los animales dañinos de la tierra para que pueda habitar seguro en el desierto y dormir en los bosques.
And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.26 De bosques y desiertos en torno a mi montaña haré una bendición. Enviaré la lluvia a su tiempo, lluvia de bendición.
And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.27 El árbol del campo dará su fruto, y la tierra su cosecha. Estarán seguros en su tierra, y reconocerán que yo soy el Señor, cuando rompa las coyundas de su yugo y los libre del poder de quienes lo esclavizan.
And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.28 No volverán a ser presa de las naciones, ni los devorarán las bestias salvajes; habitarán seguros, sin temores.
And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.29 Para ellos crecerán plantaciones renombradas: nunca más serán consumidos por el hambre en esta tierra, ni tendrán que soportar la burla de otros pueblos,
Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.30 y reconocerán que yo, el Señor, soy su Dios, y que ellos, la casa de Israel, son mi pueblo —oráculo del Señor Dios—.
And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the Lord GOD.31 Vosotros sois mi rebaño, las ovejas que yo apaciento, y yo soy vuestro Dios —oráculo del Señor Dios—».
