1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,	1 Das Wort des Herrn erging an mich:
2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,	2 Menschensohn, mach Jerusalem seine Gräueltaten bewusst!
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto Jerusalem; Thy birth and thy nativity is of the land of Canaan; thy father was an Amorite, and thy mother an Hittite.	3 Sag: So spricht Gott, der Herr, zu Jerusalem: Deiner Herkunft und deiner Geburt nach stammst du aus dem Land der Kanaaniter. Dein Vater war ein Amoriter, deine Mutter eine Hetiterin.
4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut, neither wast thou washed in water to supple thee; thou wast not salted at all, nor swaddled at all.	4 Bei deiner Geburt, als du geboren wurdest, hat man deine Nabelschnur nicht abgeschnitten. Man hat dich nicht mit Wasser abgewaschen, nicht mit Salz eingerieben, nicht in Windeln gewickelt.
5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these unto thee, to have compassion upon thee; but thou wast cast out in the open field, to the lothing of thy person, in the day that thou wast born.	5 Nichts von all dem hat man getan, kein Auge zeigte dir Mitleid, niemand übte Schonung an dir, sondern am Tag deiner Geburt hat man dich auf freiem Feld ausgesetzt, weil man dich verabscheute.
6 And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live.	6 Da kam ich an dir vorüber und sah dich in deinem Blut zappeln; und ich sagte zu dir, als du blutverschmiert dalagst: Bleib am Leben!
7 I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field, and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.	7 Wie eine Blume auf der Wiese ließ ich dich wachsen. Und du bist herangewachsen, bist groß geworden und herrlich aufgeblüht. Deine Brüste wurden fest; dein Haar wurde dicht. Doch du warst nackt und bloß.
8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the Lord GOD, and thou becamest mine.	8 Da kam ich an dir vorüber und sah dich, und siehe, deine Zeit war gekommen, die Zeit der Liebe. Ich breitete meinen Mantel über dich und bedeckte deine Nacktheit. Ich leistete dir den Eid und ging mit dir einen Bund ein - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn - und du wurdest mein.
9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.	9 Dann habe ich dich gebadet, dein Blut von dir abgewaschen und dich mit Öl gesalbt.
10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.	10 Ich kleidete dich in bunte Gewänder, zog dir Schuhe aus Tahasch-Leder an und hüllte dich in Leinen und kostbare Gewänder.
11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.	11 Ich legte dir prächtigen Schmuck an, legte dir Spangen an die Arme und eine Kette um den Hals.
12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.	12 Deine Nase schmückte ich mit einem Reif, Ohrringe hängte ich dir an die Ohren und setzte dir eine herrliche Krone auf.
13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.	13 Mit Gold und Silber konntest du dich schmücken, in Byssus, Seide und bunte Gewebe dich kleiden. Feinmehl, Honig und Öl war deine Nahrung. So wurdest du strahlend schön und wurdest sogar Königin.
14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.	14 Der Ruf deiner Schönheit drang zu allen Völkern; denn mein Schmuck, den ich dir anlegte, hatte deine Schönheit vollkommen gemacht - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.	15 Doch dann hast du dich auf deine Schönheit verlassen, du hast deinen Ruhm missbraucht und dich zur Dirne gemacht. Jedem, der vorbeiging, hast du dich angeboten, jedem bist du zu Willen gewesen.
16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.	16 Du hast deine bunten Gewänder genommen und dir an den Kulthöhen ein Lager bereitet und darauf Unzucht getrieben.
17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,	17 Deinen prächtigen Schmuck aus meinem Gold und Silber, den ich dir geschenkt hatte, hast du genommen und hast dir daraus männliche Figuren gemacht, um mit ihnen Unzucht zu treiben.
18 And tookest thy broidered garments, and coveredst them: and thou hast set mine oil and mine incense before them.	18 Deine bunten Gewänder hast du genommen und sie damit bekleidet. Mein Öl und meinen Weihrauch hast du vor sie hingestellt.
19 My meat also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD.	19 Das Brot, das ich dir gab - mit Feinmehl, Öl und Honig nährte ich dich -, das hast du ihnen als beruhigenden Duft dargebracht [ja, so war es] - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
20 Moreover thou hast taken thy sons and thy daughters, whom thou hast borne unto me, and these hast thou sacrificed unto them to be devoured. Is this of thy whoredoms a small matter,	20 Du hast deine Söhne und Töchter, die du mir geboren hast, genommen und ihnen als Schlachtopfer zum Essen vorgesetzt. War dir dein unzüchtiges Treiben noch nicht genug?
21 That thou hast slain my children, and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire for them?	21 Musstest du auch noch meine Söhne schlachten, um sie ihnen darzubringen und für sie durch das Feuer gehen zu lassen?
22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.	22 Bei all deinen Gräueltaten und deiner Unzucht hast du die Zeit deiner Jugend vergessen, in der du noch nackt und bloß und zappelnd in deinem Blut lagst.
23 And it came to pass after all thy wickedness, (woe, woe unto thee! saith the Lord GOD;)	23 Nach all diesen schändlichen Taten - wehe, weh dir! Spruch Gottes, des Herrn -
24 That thou hast also built unto thee an eminent place, and hast made thee an high place in every street.	24 hast du dir auf jedem freien Platz ein Bett und eine Kulthöhe errichtet.
25 Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.	25 An jeder Straßenecke hast du deine Kulthöhen errichtet, du hast deine Schönheit schändlich missbraucht, hast dich jedem angeboten, der vorbeiging, und hast unaufhörlich Unzucht getrieben.
26 Thou hast also committed fornication with the Egyptians thy neighbours, great of flesh; and hast increased thy whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.	26 Du hast dich den Ägyptern, deinen Nachbarn mit dem großen Glied, hingegeben und mit ihnen unaufhörlich Unzucht getrieben, um mich zu erzürnen.
27 Behold, therefore I have stretched out my hand over thee, and have diminished thine ordinary food, and delivered thee unto the will of them that hate thee, the daughters of the Philistines, which are ashamed of thy lewd way.	27 Da streckte ich meine Hand aus und nahm dir weg, was dir zustand. Ich lieferte dich deinen rachgierigen Feindinnen aus, den Philisterinnen; sogar sie schämten sich wegen deines schändlichen Treibens.
28 Thou hast played the whore also with the Assyrians, because thou wast unsatiable; yea, thou hast played the harlot with them, and yet couldest not be satisfied.	28 Dann hast du dich mit den Assyrern eingelassen, weil du noch nicht genug hattest. Du hast dich mit ihnen eingelassen, doch auch dann hattest du noch nicht genug.
29 Thou hast moreover multiplied thy fornication in the land of Canaan unto Chaldea; and yet thou wast not satisfied herewith.	29 Immer mehr Unzucht hast du getrieben und bist sogar den chaldäischen Krämern nachgelaufen; doch auch dann hattest du noch nicht genug.
30 How weak is thine heart, saith the Lord GOD, seeing thou doest all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman;	30 Wie fiebert dein Herz - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn -, weil du all das getan hast, du selbstherrliche Dirne.
31 In that thou buildest thine eminent place in the head of every way, and makest thine high place in every street; and hast not been as an harlot, in that thou scornest hire;	31 Du hast dir an jeder Straßenecke ein Bett und auf jedem freien Platz eine Kulthöhe errichtet. Du warst keine gewöhnliche Dirne; denn du hast es verschmäht, dich bezahlen zu lassen.
32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!	32 [Die Ehebrecherin nimmt sich statt ihres Mannes fremde Männer.]
33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.	33 Jede Dirne bezahlt man; du aber hast all deinen Liebhabern Geschenke gegeben und sie bestochen, damit sie von überall kamen, um mit dir Unzucht zu treiben.
34 And the contrary is in thee from other women in thy whoredoms, whereas none followeth thee to commit whoredoms: and in that thou givest a reward, and no reward is given unto thee, therefore thou art contrary.	34 Bei deiner Unzucht hast du es gerade umgekehrt gemacht wie andere Frauen: Dir lief niemand nach; du hast selbst bezahlt und dich nicht bezahlen lassen. So hast du es umgekehrt gemacht wie andere.
35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:	35 Darum, du Dirne, höre das Wort des Herrn!
36 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;	36 So spricht Gott, der Herr: Weil du deinen Körper schamlos entblößt hast bei der Unzucht mit deinen Liebhabern, mit all deinen abscheulichen Götzen, und weil du ihnen das Blut deiner Kinder hingegeben hast,
37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.	37 deshalb will ich alle deine Liebhaber zusammenrufen, denen du gefallen hast, alle, die du geliebt hast, und auch alle, die du verachtet hast. Und wenn ich sie von allen Seiten bei dir zusammengerufen habe, dann entblöße ich vor ihren Augen deine Scham, damit sie deine Scham unverhüllt sehen.
38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.	38 Ich spreche dir das Urteil nach den Rechtsvorschriften für Ehebrecherinnen und Mörderinnen, voll Zorn zahle ich dir heim mit Blut, Grimm und Eifersucht.
39 And I will also give thee into their hand, and they shall throw down thine eminent place, and shall break down thy high places: they shall strip thee also of thy clothes, and shall take thy fair jewels, and leave thee naked and bare.	39 Ich gebe dich in ihre Hand, damit sie dein Bett zerstören und deine Kulthöhen einreißen, damit sie dir deine Gewänder ausziehen, deinen prächtigen Schmuck wegnehmen und dich nackt und bloß daliegen lassen.
40 They shall also bring up a company against thee, and they shall stone thee with stones, and thrust thee through with their swords.	40 Sie berufen eine Volksversammlung gegen dich ein, steinigen dich und hauen dich mit ihren Schwertern in Stücke.
41 And they shall burn thine houses with fire, and execute judgments upon thee in the sight of many women: and I will cause thee to cease from playing the harlot, and thou also shalt give no hire any more.	41 Sie werden deine Häuser anzünden und vor den Augen vieler Frauen das Urteil an dir vollstrecken. So mache ich deiner Unzucht ein Ende. Keinem wirst du mehr Dirnenlohn zahlen.
42 So will I make my fury toward thee to rest, and my jealousy shall depart from thee, and I will be quiet, and will be no more angry.	42 Wenn ich meinen Zorn an dir gestillt habe, wird meine Eifersucht aufhören, gegen dich zu wüten. Ich werde Ruhe haben und mich nicht mehr ärgern.
43 Because thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, but hast fretted me in all these things; behold, therefore I also will recompense thy way upon thine head, saith the Lord GOD: and thou shalt not commit this lewdness above all thine abominations.	43 Weil du die Tage deiner Jugend vergessen und mich durch dein Treiben gereizt hast, darum lasse ich dein Verhalten auf dich selbst zurückfallen - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn. Hast du nicht neben all deinen Gräueln auch noch andere Schandtaten verübt?
44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.	44 Wer ein Sprichwort auf dich anwenden will, der sagt: Wie die Mutter, so die Tochter!
45 Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father an Amorite.	45 Du bist die Tochter deiner Mutter, die vor ihrem Mann und ihren Söhnen Abscheu empfand. Du bist die Schwester deiner Schwestern, die vor ihren Männern und Söhnen Abscheu empfanden. Eure Mutter war eine Hetiterin und euer Vater ein Amoriter.
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.	46 Deine ältere Schwester ist Samaria mit ihren Töchtern, die links von dir wohnt; deine jüngere Schwester ist Sodom mit ihren Töchtern, die rechts von dir wohnt.
47 Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.	47 Du bist nicht nur ihrem Beispiel gefolgt und hast nicht nur die gleichen Gräueltaten begangen, sondern in kurzer Zeit hast du es in allem noch schlimmer getrieben als sie.
48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.	48 So wahr ich lebe - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn: Deine Schwester Sodom und ihre Töchter haben es nicht so getrieben wie du und deine Töchter.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.	49 Die Schuld deiner Schwester Sodom war, dass sie und ihre Töchter hochmütig waren, dass sie in Überfluss zu essen hatten und in sorgloser Ruhe dahinlebten, ohne den Elenden und Armen zu helfen.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.	50 Sie wurden hochmütig und begingen Gräueltaten vor meinen Augen. Darum habe ich sie verstoßen, wie du selbst gesehen hast.
51 Neither hath Samaria committed half of thy sins; but thou hast multiplied thine abominations more than they, and hast justified thy sisters in all thine abominations which thou hast done.	51 Samaria hat nicht die Hälfte deiner Sünden begangen. Du hast mehr Gräueltaten verübt als sie beide zusammen und du lässt deine Schwestern gerecht erscheinen, sieht man auf all die Gräueltaten, die du begangen hast.
52 Thou also, which hast judged thy sisters, bear thine own shame for thy sins that thou hast committed more abominable than they: they are more righteous than thou: yea, be thou confounded also, and bear thy shame, in that thou hast justified thy sisters.	52 Darum trag auch du deine Schande, die du deine Schwestern durch deine Sünden entlastet und abscheulicher als sie gehandelt hast; deshalb erscheinen sie gerechter als du. Darum schäme auch du dich und trag deine Schande, weil du deine Schwestern gerecht erscheinen lässt.
53 When I shall bring again their captivity, the captivity of Sodom and her daughters, and the captivity of Samaria and her daughters, then will I bring again the captivity of thy captives in the midst of them:	53 Aber ich werde ihr Schicksal wenden, das Schicksal Sodoms und ihrer Töchter, das Schicksal Samarias und ihrer Töchter, und ich werde auch dein Schicksal wenden zusammen mit ihrem Schicksal;
54 That thou mayest bear thine own shame, and mayest be confounded in all that thou hast done, in that thou art a comfort unto them.	54 denn du sollst deine Schande tragen und du sollst dich schämen über all das, was du getan und wodurch du sie in Sicherheit gewiegt hast.
55 When thy sisters, Sodom and her daughters, shall return to their former estate, and Samaria and her daughters shall return to their former estate, then thou and thy daughters shall return to your former estate.	55 Deine Schwestern werden wieder sein wie früher, Sodom und ihre Töchter, Samaria und ihre Töchter werden wieder sein wie früher. Auch deine Töchter werden wieder sein wie früher.
56 For thy sister Sodom was not mentioned by thy mouth in the day of thy pride,	56 Hast du nicht über deine Schwester Sodom gelästert, als du hochmütig warst,
57 Before thy wickedness was discovered, as at the time of thy reproach of the daughters of Syria, and all that are round about her, the daughters of the Philistines, which despise thee round about.	57 bevor deine Schlechtigkeit offenbar wurde? So lästern jetzt ringsum über dich all deine Nachbarinnen, die Edomiterinnen und die Philisterinnen, die dich verachten.
58 Thou hast borne thy lewdness and thine abominations, saith the LORD.	58 Die Folgen deines schamlosen Treibens und deiner Gräueltaten hast du zu tragen - Spruch des Herrn.
59 For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even deal with thee as thou hast done, which hast despised the oath in breaking the covenant.	59 Denn so spricht Gott, der Herr: Ich habe mit dir gemacht, was du gemacht hast; du hast den Eid missachtet und den Bund gebrochen.
60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.	60 Aber ich will meines Bundes gedenken, den ich mit dir in deiner Jugend geschlossen habe, und will einen ewigen Bund mit dir eingehen.
61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.	61 Du sollst dich an dein Verhalten erinnern und dich schämen, wenn ich deine älteren und jüngeren Schwestern nehme und sie dir zu Töchtern gebe, aber nicht deshalb, weil du den Bund gehalten hättest.
62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:	62 Ich selbst gehe einen Bund mit dir ein, damit du erkennst, dass ich der Herr bin.
63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.	63 Dann sollst du dich erinnern, sollst dich schämen und vor Scham nicht mehr wagen, den Mund zu öffnen, weil ich dir alles vergebe, was du getan hast - Spruch Gottes, des Herrn.
