Psalms 92

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:
2 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,	2 Il est bon de rendre grâce à Yahvé, de jouer pour ton nom, Très-Haut,
3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.	3 de publier au matin ton amour, ta fidélité au long des nuits,
4 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.	4 sur la lyre à dix cordes et la cithare, avec un murmure de harpe.
5 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.	5 Tu m'as réjoui, Yahvé, par tes oeuvres, devant l'ouvrage de tes mains je m'écrie:
6 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.	6 "Que tes oeuvres sont grandes, Yahvé, combien profonds tes pensers! "
7 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:	7 L'homme stupide ne sait pas, cela, l'insensé n'y comprends rien.
8 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.	8 S'ils poussent comme l'herbe, les impies, s'ils fleurissent, tous les malfaisants, c'est pour êtreabattus à jamais,
9 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.	9 mais toi, tu es élevé pour toujours, Yahvé.
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.	10 Voici: tes ennemis périssent, tous les malfaisants se dispersent;
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.	11 tu me donnes la vigueur du taureau, tu répands sur moi l'huile fraîche;
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.	12 mon oeil a vu ceux qui m'épiaient, mes oreilles ont entendu les méchants.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.	13 Le juste poussera comme un palmier, il grandira comme un cèdre du Liban.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;	14 Plantés dans la maison de Yahvé, ils pousseront dans les parvis de notre Dieu.
15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.	15 Dans la vieillesse encore ils portent fruit, ils restent frais et florissants,
	16 pour publier que Yahvé est droit: mon Rocher, en lui rien de faux.
