Psalms 61

1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.	1 Ao mestre de canto. Com instrumentos de corda. De Davi. Ouvi, ó Deus, o meu clamor, atendei à minha oração.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.	2 Dos confins da terra clamo a vós, quando me desfalece o coração.
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.	3 Haveis de me elevar sobre um rochedo e me dar descanso, porque vós sois o meu refúgio, uma torre forte contra o inimigo.
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.	4 Habite eu sempre em vosso tabernáculo, e me abrigue à sombra de vossas asas!
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.	5 Pois vós, ó meu Deus, ouvistes os meus votos, destes-me a recompensa dos que temem vosso nome.
6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.	6 Acrescentai dias aos dias do rei, que seus anos atinjam muitas gerações.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.	7 Reine ele na presença de Deus eternamente, dai-lhe por salvaguarda vossa graça e fidelidade.
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.	8 Assim, cantarei sempre o vosso nome e cumprirei todos os dias os meus votos.
