Psalms 61

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.	1 Del maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda. De David.
2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.	2 ¡Dios mío, escucha mi clamor, atiende a mi plegaria!
3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.	3 Yo te invoco desde los confines de la tierra, mientras mi corazón desfallece. Condúceme a una roca inaccesible,
4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.	4 porque tú eres para mí un refugio y una fortaleza frente al enemigo.
5 For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.	5 ¡Que yo sea siempre un huésped en tu Carpa y pueda refugiarme al amparo de tus alas!
6 Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.	6 Porque tú, Dios mío, tienes en cuenta mis votos y me das la herencia de los que temen tu Nombre.
7 He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.	7 Añade días a los días del rey: que duren sus años por muchas generaciones;
8 So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.	8 que reine para siempre en la presencia de Dios, que la Gracia y la Fidelidad lo protejan.
	9 Así cantaré a tu Nombre eternamente y días tras día cumpliré mis votos.
