Psalms 32

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.	1 Exultai, ó justos, no Senhor: e aos rectos (do coração) que fica bem o louvá-lo.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.	2 Celebrai o Senhor com a citara, cantai-lhe hinos com o saltério de dez cordas.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.	3 Cantai-lhe um cântico novo, cantai-lhe com entusiasmo ao som das trombetas.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.	4 De facto, a palavra do Senhor é recta, e toda a sua obra é fiel.
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.	5 Ele ama a justiça e o direito: a terra está cheia da graça do Senhor.
6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.	6 Pela palavra do Senhor foram feitos os céus, e pelo sopro da sua boca (formaram-se) todos os seus exércitos.
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.	7 Ele junta como num odre as águas do mar; ele põe as ondas como em reservatórios.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.	8 Toda a terra tema o Senhor, e todos os que habitam o universo prestem-lhe reverência.
9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.	9 Ele disse, e (tudo) foi feito; mandou, e (tudo) existiu.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.	10 O Senhor dissipa os projectos das nações, e frustra os intentos dos povos.
11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.	11 O desígnio do Senhor permanece eternamente: os pensamentos do seu coração (subsistem) de geração em geração.
	12 Bem-aventurada a nação que tem o Senhor por seu Deus: o povo que ele escolheu para sua herança.
	13 O Senhor olha dos céus: vê todos os filhos dos homens.
	14 Do lugar da sua morada observa todos os que habitam a terra
	15 ele que formou o coração de todos eles, ele está atento a todas as suas obras.
	16 Não é por seu poderoso exército que o rei vence, nem se salva o guerreiro pela sua grande força.
	17 Falaz é o cavalo para a vitória, e na sua grande força não salva.
	18 Eis os olhos do Senhor postos sobre os que o temem: sobre aqueles que esperam a sua graça,
	19 para livrar da morte as suas almas, e para os sustentar no tempo da fome.
	20 A nossa alma espera o Senhor: ele é nosso amparo e nosso escudo.
	21 Nele pois se alegra o nosso coração, e no seu santo nome confiamos.
	22 Exerça-se, Senhor, sobre nós a tua misericórdia, segundo esperamos em ti.
