1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.	1 Alleluia. Cantate al Signore un canto nuovo: risuoni la sua lode nell'assemblea dei fedeli.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.	2 Gioisca Israele nel suo Creatore, esultino nel loro Re i figli di Sion.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.	3 Lodino il suo nome con la danza, a lui con timpano e cetra inneggino.
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.	4 Poiché il Signore si compiace del suo popolo, incorona gli umili di vittoria.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.	5 Esultino i fedeli nella gloria, facciano festa secondo le loro famiglie:
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;	6 le lodi divine sulla loro bocca e la spada a doppio taglio nella loro mano,
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;	7 per far vendetta fra le nazioni, punizione fra i popoli;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;	8 stringere in catene i loro capi e i loro nobili in ceppi di ferro,
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.	9 eseguire su di essi la sentenza già scritta: un onore è questo per tutti i suoi fedeli. Alleluia.
