1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.	1 Alleluia. Lodate Dio. Cantate al Signore un nuovo cantico: le laudi di lui (risuonino) nella Chiesa de' Santi.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.	2 Rallegrisi Israele in lui, che lo ha fatto, e i figliuoli di Sion esultino nel loro Re.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.	3 Lodino il nome di lui con armonico canto: lo celebrino al suono del timpano, e del saltero:
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.	4 Perché il Signore ha voluto bene al suo popolo, e i mansueti innalzerà a salute.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.	5 Esulteranno i Santi nella gloria: saranno lieti nelle loro mansioni.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;	6 Hanno nella lor bocca le laudi di Dio, e nelle lor mani spade a due tagli:
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;	7 Per prender vendetta delle nazioni, e gastigare i popoli.
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;	8 Per legare in ceppi i loro re, e i loro grandi a catene di ferro.
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.	9 Per fare sopra di essi il giudizio, che sta già scritto: questa gloria a tutti i Santi di lui appartiene. Lodate Dio.
