Psalms 149

1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.	1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Cantad a Yahveh un cantar nuevo: su alabanza en la asamblea de sus amigos!
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.	2 ¡Regocíjese Israel en su hacedor, los hijos de Sión exulten en su rey;
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.	3 alaben su nombre con la danza, con tamboril y cítara salmodien para él!
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.	4 Porque Yahveh en su pueblo se complace, adorna de salvación a los humildes.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.	5 Exalten de gloria sus amigos, desde su lecho griten de alegría:
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;	6 los elogios de Dios en su garganta, y en su mano la espada de dos filos;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;	7 para ejecutar venganza en las naciones, castigos en los pueblos,
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;	8 para atar con cadenas a sus reyes, con grillos de hierro a sus magnates,
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.	9 para aplicarles la sentencia escrita: ¡será un honor para todos sus amigos!
