Psalms 125

1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.	1 (Salmo graduale). Quando il Signore fe' tornare dalla cattività quelli di Sionne ci pareva di sognar dalla gioia.
2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.	2 Allora si riempi di sorrisi la nostra bocca e la nostra lingua di giubilo. Or si dirà fra le genti: « Il Signore ha fatte grandi cose per loro ».
3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.	3 Sì, il Signore ha fatte grandi cose per noi, e noi siamo inondati di letizia.
4 Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.	4 Fa tornare, o Signore, i nostri prigionieri come torrente nella terra australe.
5 As for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.	5 Quelli che seminano fra le lacrime mieteranno nella gioia.
	6 Andavan andavano piangendo mentre gettavano il loro seme, ma tornando verran con festa? portando i loro manipoli.
