1 The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.	1 Der Herr ist König, mit Hoheit umkleidet! Ja, es hat sich umkleidet der Herr, mit Kraft gegürtet. So ist der Erdkreis fest gegründet, daß er nicht wankt.
2 Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.	2 Fest steht dein Thron seit je, von Ewigkeit her bist du!
3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,	3 Fluten erhoben, o Herr, Fluten erhoben ihr Tosen. Mögen Fluten ihr Brausen erheben,
4 with the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.	4 mehr als das Tosen der vielen Wasser, gewaltiger als die Brandung des Meeres, ist der Herr gewaltig in Himmelshöhen.
5 Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.	5 Deine Gesetze sind durchaus zuverlässig; deinem Hause, Herr, gebührt Heiligkeit für alle Zeiten.
