2 May God have mercy on us, and bless us: may he cause the light of his countenance to shine upon us, and may he have mercy on us.	2 Dio abbia pietà di noi e ci benedica, su di noi faccia splendere il suo volto;
3 That we may know thy way upon earth: thy salvation in all nations.	3 perché si conosca sulla terra la tua via, fra tutte le genti la tua salvezza.
4 Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.	4 Ti lodino i popoli, Dio, ti lodino i popoli tutti.
5 Let the nations be glad and rejoice: for thou judgest the people with justice, and directest the nations upon earth.	5 Esultino le genti e si rallegrino, perché giudichi i popoli con giustizia, governi le nazioni sulla terra.
6 Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:	6 Ti lodino i popoli, Dio, ti lodino i popoli tutti.
7 the earth hath yielded her fruit. May God, our God bless us,	7 La terra ha dato il suo frutto. Ci benedica Dio, il nostro Dio,
8 may God bless us: and all the ends of the earth fear him.	8 ci benedica Dio e lo temano tutti i confini della terra.
