2 If in very deed you speak justice: judge right things, ye sons of men.	2 Rendete veramente giustizia, o potenti,giudicate con equità gli uomini?
3 For in your heart you work iniquity: your hands forge injustice in the earth.	3 No! Voi commettete iniquità con il cuore,sulla terra le vostre mani soppesano violenza.
4 The wicked are alienated from the womb; they have gone astray from the womb: they have spoken false things.	4 Sono traviati i malvagi fin dal seno materno,sono pervertiti dalla nascita i mentitori.
5 Their madness is according to the likeness of a serpent: like the deaf asp that stoppeth her ears:	5 Sono velenosi come un serpente,come una vipera sorda che si tura le orecchie,
6 Which will not hear the voice of the charmers; nor of the wizard that charmeth wisely.	6 che non segue la voce degli incantatori,del mago abile nei sortilegi.
7 God shall break in pieces their teeth in their mouth: the Lord shall break the grinders of the lions.	7 Spezzagli, o Dio, i denti nella bocca,rompi, o Signore, le zanne dei leoni.
8 They shall come to nothing, like water running down; he hath bent his bow till they be weakened.	8 Si dissolvano come acqua che scorre,come erba calpestata inaridiscano.
9 Like wax that melteth they shall be taken away: fire hath fallen on them, and they shall not see the sun.	9 Passino come bava di lumaca che si scioglie,come aborto di donna non vedano il sole!
10 Before your thorns could know the brier; he swalloweth them up, as alive, in his wrath.	10 Prima che producano spine come il rovo,siano bruciati vivi, la collera li travolga.
11 The just shall rejoice when he shall see the revenge: he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner.	11 Il giusto godrà nel vedere la vendetta,laverà i piedi nel sangue dei malvagi.
12 And man shall say: If indeed there be fruit to the just: there is indeed a God that judgeth them on the earth.	12 Gli uomini diranno: «C’è un guadagno per il giusto,c’è un Dio che fa giustizia sulla terra!».
