2 Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.	2 Figyelj ránk, Izrael pásztora, aki Józsefet nyájként vezérled! Aki a kerubok felett trónolsz, ragyogj fel
3 Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.	3 Efraim, Benjamin és Manassze előtt! Ébreszd fel hatalmadat és jöjj, szabadíts meg minket!
4 Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,	4 Isten, állíts helyre minket, ragyogtasd fel arcodat és szabadok leszünk!
5 for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.	5 Uram, seregek Istene, meddig haragszol még néped könyörgése ellenére?
6 He set it as a testimony with Joseph, when he went out of the land of Egypt. He heard a tongue that he did not know.	6 Könnyek kenyerével etetsz minket és bőséggel adod nekünk italul a könnyet.
7 He turned the burdens away from his back. His hands had been a slave to baskets.	7 Civódás tárgyává tettél szomszédaink előtt, s ellenségeink gúnyolnak minket.
8 You called upon me in tribulation, and I freed you. I heard you within the hidden tempest. I tested you with waters of contradiction.	8 Seregek Istene, állíts helyre minket, ragyogtasd fel arcodat és szabadok leszünk!
9 My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,	9 Egyiptomból hoztad ki e szőlőtőt, nemzeteket űztél el és elültetted őt.
10 then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.	10 Utat egyengettél előtte, elültetted gyökereit, s betöltötte a földet.
11 For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.	11 Árnyéka elborította a hegyeket, vesszői az Isten cédrusfáit.
12 But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.	12 Kiterjesztette indáit a tengerig, hajtásait a folyamig.
13 And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.	13 Miért rontottad le kerítését, hogy szaggassák mind, akik elmennek mellette?
14 If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,	14 Pusztítja az erdei vadkan és lelegeli a mezei vad.
15 I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.	15 Seregek Istene, fordulj vissza hozzánk! Tekints le az égből, hogy meglásd és meglátogasd e szőlőt!
16 The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.	16 Oltalmazd, amit jobbod ültetett, s az emberfiát, akit magadnak naggyá neveltél.
17 And he fed them from the fat of the grain, and he saturated them with honey from the rock.	17 Tűzzel égették, feldúlták, vesszenek el arcod feddésétől!
	18 Legyen kezed jobbodnak férfián, az emberfián, akit magadnak naggyá neveltél.
	19 Nem távozunk el tőled, te éltetsz minket és mi segítségül hívjuk nevedet.
	20 Uram, seregek Istene, állíts helyre minket, ragyogtasd fel arcodat és szabadok leszünk.
