2 Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.	2 Pastor de Israel, escucha, tú que guías a José como un rebaño; tú que estás sentado entre querubes, resplandece
3 Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.	3 ante Efraím, Benjamín y Manasés; ¡despierta tu poderío, y ven en nuestro auxilio!
4 Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,	4 ¡Oh Dios, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
5 for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.	5 ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Yahveh Dios Sebaot, estarás airado contra la plegaria de tu pueblo?
6 He set it as a testimony with Joseph, when he went out of the land of Egypt. He heard a tongue that he did not know.	6 Les das a comer un pan de llanto les haces beber lágrimas al triple;
7 He turned the burdens away from his back. His hands had been a slave to baskets.	7 habladuría nos haces de nuestros convecinos, y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros.
8 You called upon me in tribulation, and I freed you. I heard you within the hidden tempest. I tested you with waters of contradiction.	8 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
9 My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,	9 Una viña de Egipto arrancaste, expulsaste naciones para plantarla a ella,
10 then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.	10 le preparaste el suelo, y echó raíces y llenó la tierra.
11 For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.	11 Su sombra cubría las montañas, sus pámpanos los cedros de Dios;
12 But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.	12 extendía sus sarmientos hasta el mar, hasta el Río sus renuevos.
13 And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.	13 ¿Por qué has hecho brecha en sus tapias, para que todo el que pasa por el camino la vendimie,
14 If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,	14 el jabalí salvaje la devaste, y la pele el ganado de los campos?
15 I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.	15 ¡Oh Dios Sebaot, vuélvete ya, desde los cielos mira y ve, visita a esta viña,
16 The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.	16 cuídala, a ella, la que plantó tu diestra!
17 And he fed them from the fat of the grain, and he saturated them with honey from the rock.	17 ¡Los que fuego le prendieron, cual basura, a la amenaza de tu faz perezcan!
	18 Esté tu mano sobre el hombre de tu diestra, sobre el hijo de Adán que para ti fortaleciste.
	19 Ya no volveremos a apartarnos de ti; nos darás vida y tu nombre invocaremos.
	20 ¡Oh Yahveh, Dios Sebaot, haznos volver, y que brille tu rostro, para que seamos salvos!
