1 Ich empfehle euch unsere Schwester Phöbe, die Dienerin der Gemeinde von Kenchreä:	1 And I commend to you Phebe, our sister, who is in the ministry of the church, that is in Cenchrae:
2 Nehmt sie im Namen des Herrn auf, wie es Heilige tun sollen, und steht ihr in jeder Sache bei, in der sie euch braucht; sie selbst hat vielen, darunter auch mir, geholfen.	2 That you receive her in the Lord as becometh saints; and that you assist her in whatsoever business she shall have need of you. For she also hath assisted many, and myself also.
3 Grüßt Priska und Aquila, meine Mitarbeiter in Christus Jesus,	3 Salute Prisca and Aquila, my helpers in Christ Jesus,
4 die für mich ihr eigenes Leben aufs Spiel gesetzt haben; nicht allein ich, sondern alle Gemeinden der Heiden sind ihnen dankbar.	4 (Who have for my life laid down their own necks: to whom not I only give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles,)

17 Ich ermahne euch, meine Brüder, auf die Acht zu geben, die im Widerspruch zu der Lehre, die ihr gelernt habt, Spaltung und Verwirrung verursachen: Haltet euch von ihnen fern!	17 Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark them who make dissensions and offences contrary to the doctrine which you have learned, and avoid them.
18 Denn diese Leute dienen nicht Christus, unserem Herrn, sondern ihrem Bauch und sie verführen durch ihre schönen und gewandten Reden das Herz der Arglosen.	18 For they that are such, serve not Christ our Lord, but their own belly; and by pleasing speeches and good words, seduce the hearts of the innocent.
19 Doch euer Gehorsam ist allen bekannt; daher freue ich mich über euch und wünsche nur, dass ihr verständig bleibt, offen für das Gute, unzugänglich für das Böse.	19 For your obedience is published in every place. I rejoice therefore in you. But I would have you to be wise in good, and simple in evil.
20 Der Gott des Friedens wird den Satan bald zertreten und unter eure Füße legen. Die Gnade Jesu, unseres Herrn, sei mit euch!	20 And the God of peace crush Satan under your feet speedily. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
21 Es grüßen euch Timotheus, mein Mitarbeiter, und Luzius, Jason und Sosipater, die zu meinem Volk gehören.	21 Timothy, my fellow labourer, saluteth you, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen.

25 Ehre sei dem, der die Macht hat, euch Kraft zu geben - gemäß meinem Evangelium und der Botschaft von Jesus Christus, gemäß der Offenbarung jenes Geheimnisses, das seit ewigen Zeiten unausgesprochen war,	25 Now to him that is able to establish you, according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret from eternity,
26 jetzt aber nach dem Willen des ewigen Gottes offenbart und durch prophetische Schriften kundgemacht wurde, um alle Heiden zum Gehorsam des Glaubens zu führen.	26 (Which now is made manifest by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the precept of the eternal God, for the obedience of faith,) known among all nations;
27 Ihm, dem einen, weisen Gott, sei Ehre durch Jesus Christus in alle Ewigkeit! Amen.	27 To God the only wise, through Jesus Christ, to whom be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
