EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Der Herr antwortete Mose: Jetzt wirst du sehen, was ich dem Pharao antue. Denn von starker Hand gezwungen, wird er sie ziehen lassen, ja, von starker Hand gezwungen, wird er sie sogar aus seinem Land ausweisen.	1 Yahweh then said to Moses, 'Now you wil see what I am going to do to Pharaoh. A mighty hand wilforce him to let them go, a mighty hand will force him to expel them from his country.'
2 Gott redete mit Mose und sprach zu ihm: Ich bin Jahwe.	2 God spoke to Moses and said to him, 'I am Yahweh.
3 Ich bin Abraham, Isaak und Jakob als El-Schaddai (Gott, der Allmächtige) erschienen, aber unter meinem Namen Jahwe habe ich mich ihnen nicht zu erkennen gegeben.	3 To Abraham, Isaac and Jacob I appeared as El Shaddai, but I did not make my name Yahweh known tothem.
4 Auch habe ich einen Bund mit ihnen geschlossen und habe versprochen, ihnen das Land Kanaan zu geben, das Land, in dem sie als Fremde lebten.	4 I also made my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, the country in which they wereliving as aliens.
5 Ferner habe ich gehört, wie die Israeliten darüber stöhnen, dass die Ägypter sie wie Sklaven behandeln. Da habe ich meines Bundes gedacht	5 Furthermore, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, enslaved by the Egyptians, and haveremembered my covenant.
6 und deshalb sag zu den Israeliten: Ich bin Jahwe. Ich führe euch aus dem Frondienst für die Ägypter heraus und rette euch aus der Sklaverei. Ich erlöse euch mit hoch erhobenem Arm und durch ein gewaltiges Strafgericht über sie.	6 So say to the Israelites, "I am Yahweh. I shall free you from the forced labour of the Egyptians; I shalrescue you from their slavery and I shal redeem you with outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement.
7 Ich nehme euch als mein Volk an und werde euer Gott sein. Und ihr sollt wissen, dass ich Jahwe bin, euer Gott, der euch aus dem Frondienst in Ägypten herausführt.	7 I shall take you as my people and I shal be your God. And you wil know that I am Yahweh your God,who have freed you from the forced labour of the Egyptians.
8 Ich führe euch in das Land, das ich Abraham, Isaak und Jakob unter Eid versprochen habe. Ich übergebe es euch als Eigentum, ich, der Herr.	8 Then I shal lead you into the country which I swore I would give to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, andshall give it to you as your heritage, I, Yahweh." '
9 So redete Mose zu den Israeliten. Sie aber hörten nicht auf Mose, weil sie vor harter Arbeit verzagten.	9 And Moses repeated this to the Israelites, but they would not listen to Moses, so crushed was their spiritand so cruel their slavery.
10 Da sprach der Herr zu Mose:	10 Yahweh then said to Moses,
11 Geh, sag dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, er solle die Israeliten aus seinem Land fortziehen lassen.	11 'Go to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and tel him to let the Israelites leave his country.'
12 Mose erwiderte dem Herrn: Wenn schon die Israeliten nicht auf mich hörten, wie sollte mich dann der Pharao anhören, zumal ich ungeschickt im Reden bin?	12 But Moses spoke out in Yahweh's presence and said, 'The Israelites have not listened to me, so whyshould Pharaoh take any notice of a poor speaker like me?'
13 So redete der Herr mit Mose und mit Aaron. Er gab ihnen den Auftrag, zu den Israeliten und zum Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, zu gehen und die Israeliten aus Ägypten herauszuführen.	13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and Aaron and sent them to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites outof Egypt.
14 Das sind die Oberhäupter ihrer Großfamilien: Die Söhne Rubens, des Erstgeborenen Israels: Henoch, Pallu, Hezron und Karmi; das waren die Sippenverbände Rubens.	14 These were their heads of families: The sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born: Hanoch, Pal u, Hezron andCarmi: these are the clans of Reuben.
15 Die Söhne Simeons: Jemuël, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar und Schaul, der Sohn der Kanaaniterin; das waren die Sippenverbände Simeons.	15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite woman:these are the clans of Simeon.
16 Das sind die Namen der Söhne Levis nach ihrer Geschlechterfolge: Gerschon, Kehat und Merari. Die Lebenszeit Levis betrug hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre.	16 These were the names of the sons of Levi with their descendants: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Levilived for a hundred and thirty-seven years.
17 Die Söhne Gerschons: Libni und Schimi, nach ihren Sippenverbänden.	17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, with their clans.
18 Die Söhne Kehats: Amram, Jizhar, Hebron und Usiël. Die Lebenszeit Kehats betrug hundertdreiunddreißig Jahre.	18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath lived for a hundred and thirty-threeyears.
19 Die Söhne Meraris: Machli und Muschi; das waren die Sippenverbände der Leviten nach ihrer Geschlechterfolge.	19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the clans of Levi with their descendants.
20 Amram nahm seine Tante Jochebed zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Aaron und Mose. Die Lebenszeit Amrams betrug hundertsiebenunddreißig Jahre.	20 Amram married Jochebed, his aunt, who bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived for a hundred andthirty-seven years.
21 Die Söhne Jizhars: Korach, Nefeg und Sichri.	21 The sons of Izhar were: Korah, Nepheg and Zichri.
22 Die Söhne Usiëls: Mischaël, Elizafan und Sitri.	22 And the sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan and Sithri.
23 Aaron nahm Elischeba, die Tochter Amminadabs, die Schwester Nachschons, zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Nadab, Abihu, Eleasar und Itamar.	23 Aaron married Elisheba daughter of Amminadab and sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab,Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
24 Die Söhne Korachs: Assir, Elkana und Abiasaf. Das waren die Sippenverbände der Korachiter.	24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah and Abiasaph. These are the clans of the Korahites.
25 Eleasar, der Sohn Aarons, nahm eine Tochter Putiëls zur Frau. Sie gebar ihm Pinhas. Das waren die Oberhäupter der levitischen Großfamilien nach ihren Sippenverbänden.	25 Eleazar, son of Aaron, married one of Putiel's daughters who bore him Phinehas. These were theLevitical heads of families, according to clan.
26 Das waren also Aaron und Mose, zu denen der Herr gesagt hatte: Führt die Israeliten aus Ägypten und übernehmt dabei die Leitung der Scharen!	26 It was to this Aaron and Moses that Yahweh said, 'Lead the Israelites out of Egypt in their armies.'
27 Die beiden waren es, die mit dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, reden und die Israeliten aus Ägypten herausführen sollten, Mose und Aaron.	27 It was they who spoke to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to lead the Israelites out of Egypt -- namely Mosesand Aaron.
28 Damals, als der Herr mit Mose in Ägypten redete,	28 Now the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in Egypt,
29 sagte er zu Mose: Ich bin Jahwe. Sag dem Pharao, dem König von Ägypten, alles, was ich dir auftrage.	29 Yahweh said to Moses, 'Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything that I am going to say to you.'
30 Mose aber antwortete dem Herrn: Ich bin doch ungeschickt im Reden; wie soll der Pharao auf mich hören?	30 But Moses said to Yahweh's face, 'I am a poor speaker, so why should Pharaoh take any notice ofme?'
